Just walked in. Stood there for 10 mins. People kept walking out and no one greeted me. No one said anything. People saw me and still no acknowledgment Will never be back.

After having a bad experience at Glo Nail Bar the manager/owner reached out to me and offered to redo both of my services and my daughters services free of charge. My daughter lives up North, so I won't be back, but I REALLY appreciate the gesture!!! It was VERY KIND and PROFESSIONAL of you!!! Thank you for addressing the issue and taking ownership! It really meant A LOT to me!

I first went to Glo in Newport Beach and really enjoyed the quality of service that I received. I started going to the one in Villa Park because it's closer to my house. They definitely do a fantastic job on your nails

I wanted to like this salon as I'm down the street. When I arrived a lady put my feet in cold water and then I was left for 20 minutes waiting. Apparently they had a few employees just take off in the middle of their shift, so only 2 others were working. By the time they got to me they were tired and there was definitely some drama going on. The lady doing my nails had been standing for most of the day (why they don't have tall chairs like the other locations I don't know...). The girls were nice and I felt bad for them, but I deal with work drama all day so the last thing I wanted was to deal with it on my free hour. Unfortunately, my pedicure chipped and smudged the next day and a few of my nail extensions fell off a few days later. Probably great for big groups. I think this Glo Nails might be the 'red headed step child' of their other two locations and maybe staffing is hard to find (or vice versa, they don't take care of staff to retain). Villa Park nails on Tustin is amazing.

In my opinion it doesn't get better than GLO Nail Bar. I have been to places across different states from New York, Florida, Tennessee, and Georgia. I have not had the level of service that GLO provides. To me it is the standard by which I rate nail salons. Always feel welcome and like a VIP. The manicure and pedicure services always leave me feeling pampered and relaxed. GLO is worth every penny.

The salon was absolutely beautiful & that staff was for the most part nice. But come the very next day 2 nails were broken and one was chipped ... not even 24 hours later ... Definitely won't be coming back and wasted 160$

My most favorite Nail Salon by far. Great service and quality every time I go. More expensive than others in the area but well worth it.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The ladies are so welcoming and nice. There are no upselling/additional services being pitched for your entire service. The quality of the work is great. I love to come here and splurge on the pedicures. Plus I can't complain when there is a glass of champagne offered.

Ok the place is cute! Not the most comfortable but definitely CUTE! The two gals that helped me were pleasant! I wanted a waterless pedicure but still ended up soaking my feet in a tub... That was ok as long as no one else had their feet in the tub! I told the gal that did my pedicure I just really needed my calluses scrubbed off good, I didn't really care what menu item or flavor or even cost, just wanted the calluses scrubbed REALLY GOOD! I do have some special needs and I understand it can be difficult to accommodate so that wasn't an issue either. They did accommodate me to the best of their ability and I thank them for that. The SHORT massage that was included in my menu item was nice and EXTREMELY gentle which I like, I kinda expected more but I'm glad it was ULTRA GENTLE! They didn't really spend a lot of time in my manicure or pedicure... The cookie cutter places they are trying TO NOT BE LIKE have always spent at least double the time on me! I'm not saying I had a bad experience because it was a very nice and quiet experience. I just felt like I didn't get a value by coming all the way over here to get a mani/pedi. Their prices are WAY TOO HIGH for the quality of time spent and this is why I removed stars. I would easily pay $100 for a pedicure if my callouses were scrubbed off ( I didn't see them use the callus remover gel, it has to sit for about 5 minutes) I will be staying with my regular place here local, I guess dry pedicure isn't a real thing? I will be making an appointment and heading to my regular place to get my calluses scrubbed before my trip next week. This little shop may be perfect for lots of people on the go but it wasn't for me.

It was my daughter's 29th birthday and we were looking forward to our spa day. Worst experience ever. This was my first time here. I scheduled an appointment for 2 top of line pedicures at 11:00am. They texted me and said they were running late and to come at 11:15. We got there at 11:25 and the manicurist informed us that we couldn't do top pedicures anymore because we were late. I told her that they text us and told us to come late. She then said "well thats not my problem." She had an attitude from the moment we walked in. Once she said that, we left and went to Elite nail salon a few doors down and they treated us like royalty. Glo nail bar needs to train their employees on how to speak to a customer. And maybe not scheduling appointments so close together so the customer doesn't feel rushed! We will never go back.

It had been over a year - probably close to 2 years since I had a professional pedicure. I was long over due and when I got my second vax, I decided this would be my first treat. I chose Glo over the cheaper nail salons because even before the pandemic I was aware of their strict cleaning standards. One of the things of note is that they do not use pedicure tubs that have the little whirlpool built in? Sounds silly but you can not fully disinfect those. Instead they have foot baths that are completely removable, can be disinfected completely and uses a liner. Something I never really cared about before but now something that's top of mind. I had visited their Costa Mesa location before so I knew what the service would be like. If your the type that enjoys a massage and callous removal they've got tons of fun options. When I came in the Friday before mother's day I had to make an appointment. I'm not sure if it was by design or happenstance but the place was empty. I stick to very simple pedicures so mine was only $24 but I feel so much better - more like my old self with nice painted nails. Loads of opi colors. A word of caution, they don't offer dip nails, which had been my favorite pre pandemic but they sight hygiene concerns for not offering this service. While it's a little disappointing, I definitely understand. While there they offered me a drink but I didn't take the offer. They do require you to wear a mask. To sum up my experience: it was incredibly nice to get my nails done once again and to do so in such a clean and friendly environment. The extra price compared to other salons is worth it. I've decided that I will be going back to my old favorite vice of getting my nails done, and will make this my go to salon.

Walked in for two pedicures and were immediately sat. We sipped on our complimentary champagne while getting a much needed pedicure and had a great experience! Definitely will be back.

The owner of Glo Nail Bar is the most unprofessional and disrespectful person I have ever dealt with from a customer service perspective. Make sure you double check the price you are charged because she will try to raise the cost if you are not paying attention. Very unethical and rude! Do not come here!!!

Let me start off by saying that I am a huge germaphobe and it's nearly impossible to be clean enough in my eyes. Which makes getting my nails done a not so pleasant experience because let's face it, a lot of nail salons don't take sanitization seriously. Well Glo is a completely different story. They are so clean. So kind. And so patient. Ivy did my gel manicure and my nails have never stayed on that long before. I can usually only last 2 weeks before getting them redone and they still looked great at 3.5 weeks. She was so sweet and we had a great conversation. I also got the coffee pedicure which was heavenly and my toes looked great as well. Thanks Glo for going above and beyond to make sure that your clients are safe! You guys are the best!

I walked through their propped open front door one hour prior to their closing time and was met by a woman whom i asked "Are you taking walk ins?" to which she responded very coldly "No. We are not." and as i turned to exit the same already propped open front door to exit with my partner, she follows suit and closes the door behind us (very rude). It is best customer service practice to politely suggest to a guest they may schedule an appointment at a later date and time or better yet confirm an appointment at the empty receptionist desk to secure that new guest appointment instead of coldly responding to potential new customers with a dead end. Based on the customer service i can imagine how guests are valued. Would not return based on lack of salon professionalism. Strongly suggest a customer service training program especially during these unprecedented times where each guest should REALLY matter to local businesses.
