So I called Hays automotive which was first on my list I google for the intoxlock device. The woman who answered the phone was so rude. And made me feel so stupid. First of all I was calling to get quotes for a friend who works and doesn’t get off till after 5pm. Being a girl I thought I had all the proper information, which I didn’t!!! The first question she asked me was the make model and year of the car the interlock was going to be installed in. Granted a good question. I was like oh for sure I’ll get it right now AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME. !!!! Rude. I will not be calling back.

Scammers. My Grandma went in to get a $200 part changed and got up sold "raped" by a salesman. She got taken to the back and told stories about babies and "personal life" while her car was up on lift and he rambled off things that "needed to be replaced". My mom took her to pick up the car. Seeing the itemized bill, the first thing was $3400 for labor. They had her car one day. Maybe 9 hours. On menu it said $150 an hour for labor. After bartering, they brought labor down to $1500. And after all the other parts "that needed to be replaced" she was charged 5,200 on a car that is worth 8,000. So no, I would not recommend ever taking your car here.

I'm an old mechanic and it came down to needing an alignment on my lowered Ford Flex (toaster wagon). Made an appointment with these guys on a recommendation from a tire shop. They got the job done they got it done right and the price was exceptionally reasonable.I couldn't be more pleased and that is saying a lot .

I had a small issue on my 2017 MKC engine skid plate while vacationing in Ventura. Call them on a Friday afternoon, arrived 15 minutes later and the plate was reinstalled in 10 minutes. The amazing part was that they did not charge me. They realized I would be driving back to Oregon the next day and went out of their way to help. Some companies might have wanted to sell me a new plate, but they just wanted to help me. Anyone living near Ventura should trust this company. They are solid.

Absolutely Excellent ! We have a property management Chevy Express box truck that the transmission went out in which we needed back on the road, fast ! Everywhere around said it would be weeks (5-7 business days to get the transmission delivered and then 3-5 days to replace it). Brandon Hays sourced a transmission and replaced it in 3 days ! He and his team were super professional, polite, and helpful from the first call. I drove them crazy with questions which they handled very cooly and kindly. Trucks back in action and we are back using it at work. Thank you !!!! I highly, highly recommend Hays Automotive !Service: Transmission replacement

The only mechanics I trust with my Jaguar. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. They're honest, reasonably priced, and I've always been met with excellent customer service and professionalism. Their mechanics can work on any car. Like I said, they're the only place I trust to repair my car. This is hands down one of the top 3 best auto repair shops in Ventura/Oxnard.
