Location very good. Service OK. Rooms clean and well equipped. But EXTREMELY alert. I'm not actually sensitive, but you could hear everyone in the room talking. When someone goes upstairs it sounds like the ceiling is about to collapse.
Be careful when parking: there is an OVERPRICED valet service right next to the building which is not part of the hotel but still tries to sell you a parking space. It's better to book the official parking space at reception.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Venice Suites. Abbie and all of the staff made sure I had a perfect stay, I could not have asked for better. The hidden gem (and I really don't like letting this secret out of the bag) is the rooftop patio...holy cow: billion dollar view, deck chairs, tables and BBQ...I had breakfast, lunch and supper out there, it was the highlight of my trip. Thank you everyone at Venice Suites. And huge shout out to Abbie!

Yes on the ocean but a cold shower, no coffee cup or any cups, noise from car alarms and folks outside at night, and a back pain inducing memory foam mattress (not a typical hotel feature). I wouldn’t recommend.
Safety: It’s Venice so you need to keep your street smarts up.

Good:
- The room where we stayed had a phenomenal view.
- The room had lots of natural light.
- The location is spectacular.
To improve:
- The shower is not very good
- There is no space to buy snacks or water.
- Surrounding area not very beautiful other than the beach front

I've visited this hotel twice. I don't remember much in the way of service but nothing beats the location. You can go to the rooftop and get an even more stellar view.

The best view! Right on the beach. Nice kitchen and supplies. No elevator. No heat (or ac) they do have fans. Coming in mid February, it was super cold at night and the blankets were thin. Amazing roof top deck with the best views, and a grill. Easy walk to Venice Beach Pier & Santa Monica Pier! I recommend the scooters but do not take them out of Venice Beach!

The only advantage is the location. We were given a room with faulty heating, which the staff knew about and did not bother to inform us about. Only after our 2nd intervention it was repaired.
The equipment probably dates back to the 1980s, but it is clean. It's very noisy from dawn.

This place is amazing. Abby the assistant manager is absolutely amazing. She’s the best person I’ve ever dealt with in customer service. If we could stay here forever we would. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone if I could give Abby the most high award I would. I cannot say more about her, she went above and beyond what she needed to do, but she never gave up. She’s did everything to help us. We will definitely be coming back just so we can see Abby again. I never want to leave here. It’s the best place on Venice Beach to stay. Thank you Abby for the best service available. You’re the best!!!Rooms: Our room was the best. The hotel appears well maintained.
In detail, however, it's a wreck worth at most half the asking price.
At the reception only once, during check-in, we met a friendly person, a fair and serious gentleman.
The next day a lady at reception was very irritated that I interrupted her card game on the computer.
Of course, this moment can be ignored, but at the reception you expect to find a friendly person who at least pretends to be interested in his client.
In the end, I repeat, Venice Suites is a hotel worth at most half the asking price.
