“Our three children have attended each kids workshop on the first Saturday of the month every month this year... today was the first time we had a complaint. I called the store and spoke to the manager, Ricardo about our concern. He listened. He was respectful and understanding. I felt heard and satisfied with the situation. But it wasn't over. Ricardo took the time and care to follow up with me and the kids. An associate of the store, Raul, delivered projects for our boys as well as beautiful poinsettias! He communicated necessary information (re delays, or orders) along the way, and always assured me he would make things right. He did indeed. Good workmanship is top priority for Kenny and if it didn't look right to him, he made it right. His team of workers and installers are top notch, reliable and friendly. “I found Triangle Hardware while shopping for a dealer of Precision Screen & Security Products screen door. I made two visits: one to order the door and another to pick it up. Honestly, I really only ventured as far into the store as the front counter by the door, but even from that vantage I could tell the space was closely packed with awesome hardware. I grew up around hardware stores like this and the vibe was the same. I especially liked the display case full of pocket knives on the counter, it took me right back to the 70's. The owner, Sonny, made the special order process a breeze. They also have a nice number of parking spaces in back of the store which is a big plus as parking along PCH in Hermosa can be a challenge.Visiting Triangle Hardware was a nice alternative to the box stores. Besides which Home Depot doesn't carry Precision. Lowe's does but their millworks doesn't answer the phone and I'd much rather patronize a local business.”

“The reasoning that I am giving Hawthorne true hardware store. We've been having a lot of bad weather, rain and wind well a few weeks ago when the wind was blowing so bad it blew a mess of my screen door so I decide I will try to fix it myself took my cell phone and took a few pictures and went to the hardware store in a gentleman by the name of Michiel help me the very nice man he's been in that store in Harthorne community for many years he told me what to do gave me what I needed and send me on my way. I repaired the screen better when the first two gentlemen called them self putting it up from the beginning wow! I was so proud of myself. Thank you, Mr. Miguel, you did a great job, and as well great customer service you are the best.”

“The Torrance Rockler is an absolute gem of a store! Having passed by it many times over the course of a year, my husband and I finally went inside as he had a project idea in mind. We came to learn that Rockler offers daily courses and workshops with anything from cabinetry essentials, to ring turning, to epoxy charcuterie boards. Truly anything you've ever thought would make a great gift is available for you to make yourself at this store.So far, I've taken a Bluetooth box class, an opal ring turning class, and a pen turning class. The projects available are stunning and I wish the website had pictures to accompany the class descriptions because I truly had no idea how beautiful these projects would be.Each class is limited in size (between 1-4 people) so you get unlimited personal attention. I've taken classes from Willie, Lee, Char, and Tom and couldn't be happier with how much I learned and how much fun I had. With the ring making, especially, I couldn't believe how easy Char made the process and how beautiful the final product was!The people here are so wonderful. I've had wonderful interactions with everyone who works there and, in addition to the instructors I've named above, both Joe and Paul have also been super helpful. Honestly, sometimes I stop by this store just to chat with Willie and Lee because they are so cool. They never try to sell us on anything, but my husband and I can't help but leave with a purchase each time.
