I just found out that store will be closing in the near future, for whatever reason. It’s a shame to see the brick and mortar stores close, as is the case with many others due to extremely poor running of both state and nation, which affects these businesses.”

“Located in an old ice rink this Harbor Freight Tools Is a very convenient place for tools and accessories in culver. They have lots of parking and are close to freeway on and off ramps. Their prices are very hard to beat and I am a big fan. The staff is very kind and helpful when you have a question.”

“I recently went to Ganahl lumber to purchase a new front door and an interior door. I had the good fortune of working with Ana Ryan. She was very well informed and guided me through the arduous task of selecting the right door, the right hardware, the right materials and the right color for my home. I never realized picking a new front door could be so tricky! With her help, I was able to pinpoint what would be appropriate for my home. Thank goodness she was there to help me! I highly recommend Ganahl lumber for their products and Ana Ryan for the excellent service I received.”

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and can also repair home appliances, lamps, etc. Parking is free right behind the building, a real plus in crowded, expensive Beverly Hills. “I just had the best experience at this store thanks to Edward.I wanted to paint my entire apartment for the first time, but had no idea what was the best store to buy paints. I was trying to choose between Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Lowes, when a friend of mine recommended Dunn Edwards and I'm so glad he did because I couldn't be any happier with the color and sheens I selected. My apartment looks amazing!But none of it would have been possible without the help of Edward, the first person to greet me when I entered the store. Edward was totally kind, friendly, funny and took his time to help me decide on my colors, sheens and quality of paint.I needed to go into the store 3 times so I could pick up various color samples to tape to my cabinets and walls so I could ensure I chose all the right colors before actually buying my paints. And each time I went, Edward was equally kind, friendly and helpful. My entire experience at the store was always fun and relaxing thanks to Edward.And now after two weeks of sanding, prepping and painting, seeing my new bright, shiny kitchen cabinets and all my walls freshly painted, I couldn't be any happier with the quality of paint and the colors and sheens.I totally recommend Dunn Edwards quality paint and this West L.A. store in particular. But most especially I recommend Edward to give you top tier advice in a fun, friendly and relaxing way.”
“This is an amazing neighborhood hardware store! I take care of a relatives house that is just a few blocks away and built just a few years after Emil's went into business. There has not been anything that I needed for a repair project that I could not find at Emil's. This includes parts for plumbing, electrical, or hardware such as hinges and door knobs. Thet have a wide variety of drill bits, hand tools, saw blades and more. The prices are slightly higher than the large box stores, but the convenience and gas savings is well worth going to Emil's.”
