If you shop at Ralph's, getting fuel is quick and convenient

Long overdue review...I've been going there for over 20 years when Colleen and Alice used to work there :). Things have changed, some staff could get a boost in customer service but others are fantastic (produce dept staff is ALWAYS kind and welcoming). I leave a short walk away so I shop mainly at this Ralphs. It's clean, safe and well stocked.

This particular Ralph's is now on my do not shop list. I was in the process of trying to check out and I had unload my whole cart on to the belt while the cashier was jaw jacking to other employees only after I unload my whole cart did they state that the register was closed. Even tho there was someone still checking out no sign or anything indicating the line was closed after that customer. I would of Been fine she told me before I completed loading the belt but they were to busy jaw jacking. This on top of the fact that I had been in line and stepped over to the next check lane to grab something and didn't once mention the line was gonna close I would strongly recommend going to the ralphs on Ventura. Cleaner store better selection and service

This place is definitely not 2 1/2 stars. It is a great neighborhood store. Usually with a lot of things in stock. Workers are always super nice and ready to help. The deli is good also. So is the sushi. Everybody in the store tries very hard. Lately, they have been becoming even a better place by offering more prepared foods. I would definitely recommend this store for your shopping needs.

Honestly, reading through some of the negative reviews, I don't get it. One lady complains how they wouldn't bag her groceries for her because she brought her own bag. Mind you, this happened over a year ago when pretty much any grocery store you went to made you bag your own groceries IF YOU WANTED TO USE YOUR OWN BAGS (signs at the front of every store; understandable safety protocol because of COVID). Other people complain about the attitude of other customers (some about the staff). Some people complain about the layout or the cleanliness or finding moldy or expired food (just be a Good Samaritan and give it to one of the workers; they're not going to be able to spot every single item). And some people just complain about how ignorant they themselves are when it comes to using the self-checkout (it's really not that hard to figure out after you've used it a couple times). But I don't see it. The staff here is really friendly (I don't go out of my way to have in-depth conversations with them but whenever I need something, they're usually quick to help and guide me to the right location); also if you didn't want to deal with the staff, the Ralph's app can usually give you a pretty accurate reading of which aisle a certain product should be in (if you have location services on for the app, it usually loads the layout of the Ralph's location that you're currently shopping in). Even during their busiest hours, this place always seems nice and tidy (I think they do most of their stocking during the later hours--I've been here past midnight so I've seen it go down--so pallets and stuff don't get in the way of customers during heavy traffic hours). My only complaint is that the lines can get pretty long occasionally (usually happens during a holiday or weekend peak hours). It's not unbearable, maybe like a five minute wait tops if you're in the express or self check out lane (maybe 10? minutes if you have a cart full of groceries). It's not something that happens often and it probably happens as much as any other grocery store. One quick tip: you legally can't do self check out for alcoholic beverages but if I'm in a bit of a hurry or if I've only got a handful of groceries, I usually just nicely ask the clerk at the self checkout and they've always been nice and accommodating (sometimes you gotta wait a minute--it's fine--but it still beats waiting in line for the regular cashier).

2 stars is simply because they have some helpful/ friendly staff , I purchased seafood here once or twice but today after purchasing some crab legs I got home to smell they were bad & um edible, I did go back a refund but yuck ! No more shopping for seafood there ever

Honestly I hate self checkout... because it doesn't make my life easier. I would prefer you put someone at self checkout that might consider asking you if you need help... when the prices don't match and you ask them something. They just hit the total and don't say a word. He acted like I was bothering him. He didn't utter a word. I don't need a "friend" just someone with some sort of personality. I would prefer to wait in a line. I shop here all the time and I'm pretty disappointed to be honest.

Called the night before Easter, April 16th, 2022, and they were SO nice!! I love the way they treat you here. I wanted to make sure I could get the things I needed to make my first thanksgiving meal all on my own for my husband, they made sure I had everything and some employees even suggested recipes. I'll never forget that!

Great location and clean. Good gas prices too. You can get points with your ralphs card. Right across the street from ralphs grocery store too.

I usually never come to this Ralphs because they never have any of the everyday items I need and the staff can be rude at times. I came today to get some items from the produce section and it was like it usually is, not fresh and a lot of old/damages fruit and veggies. I know it's Easter so I felt maybe it was just the holiday but when I asked about Lemonade I was told that they have some but put it out on Tuesday. I've come here on several occasions and the only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's not to far from where I live. The energy at this Ralphs is off as well. The workers seem to always have a bad day/attitude and this rubs off on the customers. If you have another option I'd go there because this location isn't the best option.
