Claimed they sold our piece twice and twice they claimed buyer backed out. No communication and no respect for seller.Thinking there is some kind of funny business going on here since they still received the buyer deposit both times Very disappointed, very unprofessional.

My friend had a piece to sell through LAMA and apparently they got a bid and buyer and contacted my friend to say it was sold... over 30 days go by... no update on payment... tried to contact for info - had to hound them to respond. When they finally did, after a few "I don't have any information" responses -they said the buyer backed out. They didn't check the buyer's financial info very well and said oops sorry. Do not recommend this auction house and will take advice to deal with professionals in Chicago.

A+ auction house for mid century modern. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful catalog and very fair commission rate as well. Sold quite a few items through their auctions over the last few years from our parents estate and felt we recieved a fair price if not top dollar on our items! We highly recommend this auction house and would use them again.
