“Ok, I'm writing this review because the store doesn't have many reviews and (I thought, at least) seems like it could be a scam. NOPE! If you like Mediterranean food, this is the place to go. Their stuff is SO cheap, and brands that I buy in our international markets at home. Shipping was pretty quick, considering I ordered things for Christmas, and when there was an item left out of my order, it was replaced with no issue. Check them out, you won't regret it!”

“I just received a wonderful book called The Korean Vegan. I have only been to one Korean restaurant and am not very familiar with Korean foods. So Greenland Market was the best local destination to head to in order stock up on ingredients. This was a big challenge because many of the ingredients didn't have their English translations easily found. But search I did, and even asked for help. We ended up finding most of the ingredients and even enjoyed a few of the pre-cooked servings of food they serve. We went in a Sunday morning the first time, and there was plenty to choose from. We recommend the glass noodle dish they make. They also had lotus root which I enjoy, but the sauce was too sticky and sugary, probably because they used corn syrup to sweeten it. The market is a bit run down and the vegetables not all very fresh. Overall, it's still worth the trip for the food, and fun to explore.”

“I have been here twice while in the area. It's a nice store with a variety of items. They have produce, canned food, spices and even fresh food that is packed from the restaurant that is connected to the store. I have gotten few things from here and they were good quality, I tried their food and it was good. I highly recommend it. Customer service is good, fast check out and plenty of parking. I would return, it's just pricier than other middle eastern stores”

“Precisely what I was looking for in a grocery store after moving back to Los Angeles. Think Whole Foods, without the ridiculous over-pricing and Amazon branding.”

“I was driving by around lunch time when I saw the tell-tale sign of a good BBQ: Cut-open drum-barrel emitting smoke in a parking lot. I parked and walked in the store and found out that there is a counter along one wall where you could order BBQ. I ordered a Brisket Burrito and I was asked if I wanted BBQ sauce with it. I should not have said "no". I bet my burrito would taste so much better with it. Without it, my Brisket Burrito is still good. The brisket was tender, juicy, smoky, perfectly seasoned. You could order trays of various BBQ in large amounts too. The person behind the counter suggested I call ahead to minimize the wait. I made the mistake one day of going without calling. I came in the afternoon, too late for lunch and too early for most diners, and found out the BBQ counter closed. Nooo!!!!!! I was counting on a tray of this as my dinner contribution. Lessons learned. By the way, free parking in their lot.”

“Harvest Market is a great local place in my neighborhood that I've frequented for years when I'm in L.A. Especially in the last few years they have really improved the place: atmosphere, cleanliness, items in stock. And the employees are always ready with a smile or a laugh. Large selection of beers and wines. Nice place when you only need a few items and a quick in-and-out.”

“I have been here a few times over the years. It's very spacious, organized and well stocked. It's an international specialty store where they carry variety of imported products from Armenia, Russia, Persia, Mexico and more. You will find many unique items here such as imported cheese, jams, cookies, dips etc... they have a food court as well that sells kebabs, pilaf, salad and variety of hot and cold foods. They is also Sasoun bakery inside this store that sells freshly baked lahmajun and byoreks. Right next to it there is Lilits bakery that sells cakes, pastries and cookies. A lot to choose from. This supermarket can literally be a one stop shop, from freshly baked bread to the freshet produce and mead. They have it all. Prices are ok on most things but some things are very overpriced Customer service needs improvement even after many years of coming here it's still the same.”

“I have always driven by this small store for many, many years and I finally decided to stop by. The main reason why I gave it a try was due to they have a huge grill right outside their store where they have whole chickens, Pork and beef ribs cooking. Well, I bought one of each and I couldn't be more pleased. We now buy a whole chicken, pork ribs and beef ribs every other Friday. They only do the BBQ on Fri,Sat and Sun. So we picked Friday as our day to go and buy them. They also have many products that you would find in a local store. Overall I'm extremely happy with my decision to finally stop by.”

“From scratchers, ice creams, snacks, you name it, they got it (I guess). This store I full of stuff for your needs. Their price is also affordable, might be better than a 711 store. Parking is ample and it's a corner store here in Vanowen so you couldn't miss it.The man behind the counter is super helpful and courteous.Tip: they have haagen daaz and Ben & Gerry's ice cream, so if you're craving for one, this is the place!”

“These guys are super sweet. They took out some scratches on my car after it’s been hit and run. While they were doing that, they installed some hubcaps and a steering wheel cover for me.”

“A very accommodating neighborhood convenience and wine/liquor store in Van Nuys just a small distance shy of Sherman Oaks as well as Valley Glen off the Southeast corner for Oxnard St and Woodman Ave near the Metro Orange Line stop for Woodman Ave. I usually pass by here once and a while, but would come in more often when I worked in the area... Mostly for snacks, juice... the occasional weekend out and about minis and/or lottery tickets on occasion. They have a lot of product in the store especially wine, spirits and the essential liquor store snacks. The isles aren't too big which can be a little bitter sweet especially if a small line starts to form or there's a few customers trying to navigate around or past you. The gentlemen who work here are pretty laidback and personable as well as pretty nice. I've place an orders here via minibar app a few times, especially more so back in May and June when things were still pretty closed down... And even then I received quality customer service. One time they were out of a bottle of sweet shiraz I wanted to get to gift to a friend who was between jobs and they were out of stock but upgraded me to an equally comparable wine that was a dollar or so more. One of the gentlemen at the store called me and gave me updates on my order because they were actually pretty busy during memorial day weekend. I passed through recently for super lotto and always get wished a good luck! The parking is pretty smooth and keeps a steady flow despite being in a mini plaza of neighborhood shops. Though there is also street parking close by. I definitely prefer coming here to 7-11 just across the street from them as they have just about everything they carry with a few surprises here and there via snacks and beverages. Definitely support this long standing small business when you can and satisfy your cravings of convenience.”
