There's a saying "you get what you pay for" and that's certainly true with this Walgreens. My granddaughter had a croup cough so I had her tested. The results took five days. When I realized how long it was going to take I paid to get a test and got the results back within an hour. My daughter and I weren't going to expose our co-workers so had we waited on Walgreens to get the results back we'd have each lost three days pay. A five day wait for test results is unacceptable. You get what you pay for I guess.

This is a review regarding the Walgreens pharmacy service in redwood st. in Vallejo . I really liked the idea of drive-thru pharmacy service during COVID time & it was the only reason I kept using their service. However, I've had enough of this place. I did not know why sometimes I ended up getting short of my medications even before I reach the time for refills of my medications. I did not know why some of my medications looked different time to time. I did not know why I had to make several trips to the pharmacy to get complete refills on three medications that were prescribed on a same paper on a same day by my physician. All I know is that five pills were short in one of my medication bottle when I finally counted right after I picked them up from the pharmacy today. Tomorrow, when I wake up, I still have to continue battle with Walgreens pharmacy to get one prescription that they could not refill-even after three days I dropped off my MD's prescription. Their excuse was "your refill request was not approved by the prescriber". Now, this does make no sense to me. My physician, who has been prescribing these medications for more than 5 years, would not have written me the prescriptions in front of me if he were to disapprove it later. How many times they used these line? Tomorrow, when I wake up, I have to continue battle with Walgreens pharmacy on Redwood Vallejo to get the last prescription refill. I hope it goes smoothly and I hope I get the correct number of pills of right medication ASAP because I ran out of this medication. And this will be the last time that I'll bite the bullet but no more.

What can you say it's disgusting inside of the store stains all over the place not to mention the 3 homeless man outside the place. But wait there's more the pharmacy is of bunch of Incompetent morons to say the Least. I waited hours for a script that the could have filled but instead made a Excuse about it every time until I called them out for it then the Asian tech wanted to act like she was trying!!!! Never again

Please be careful at this Walgreens. My car window was broken and my bag was stolen from my car in 5 minutes of being inside. The security guard said he couldn't do anything and the manger said she couldn't pull the cameras unless the police requested it! They offered zero help or sympathy. Do NOT GO HERE! That happened in broad daylight!

I stopped by to pick up some items for my elderly mother, on July 31 at 6:45 pm. I was immediately followed all over the store by a tall black security guard. He literally stalked me all over the store as I shopped, it was a horrifying experience.As a professional black woman in my 60's I was very upset, and when I got to the cashier, I complained, nothing was done. Got in my car, called spoke to asst. manager. Was told they use a contract company and she will speak to him. Will callback to speak to manager about his outrageous behavior, and intimidating ,threatening behavior. He needs to be let go,No way a customer should be treated like this.

After a tumultuous few weeks of being closed due to protesting and looting over the death of George Floyd.. Walgreens was able to recuperate and took the time to really get their store together. I thought for sure they were going to shut down for good. Thankfully since I do get some of my prescriptions there I was happy to know they had reopened and I wouldn't have to be looking for another pharmacy to transfer to. I will give them a better score since they cleaned up real nice!

I paid for a propane refill but they were out, when I requested a refund the store "manager" "Mark" would not return my $20 unless I gave him my name, phone number and address. I asked for his name but he would not give it to me. They took my money without asking for this information but would not return it; Walgreens ripped me off of $20. Clearly this company (or franchise owner) has no concern for customer privacy and has no manager training program. Hiring low-information employees to manage a business like this indicates this particular store is out of touch with the community and common standards of civility and customer satisfaction.

If i could leave ZERO stars i would. I just left the emergency room with 2 prescriptions. Pharmacy filled ONE and NEVER TOLD ME that they didnt get the fax for the other. I drove all the way home before realizing. Then i called, was on hold 40 minutes. FORTY. And he says yea we only got the fax for one. The SAME GUY who i saw earlier. He tells me to go back to the ER. Are you f****** kidding me? DO YOUR JOB AND CALL THEM. F*** this pharmacist.

Very very bad phone service, I called twice because I got a voicemail stating I need to call back which I did, first call someone picked up and I explained why I was calling she was kind to transfer me to the pharmacy they answered me and told me to hold a minute so I did and then you could hear them taking me off of hold and just hung up on me like they picked up the phone and slammed it back down right away same thing happened again but I was put on hold even longer just so I could get hung up on, very bad phone service don't waste your time calling just go in person!

I was here at about 3pm today. The man in the photo department gave excellent service. Too bad I didn't catch his name. He was busy with someone else. As I stood in line, he showed acknowledgement and said "I'll be right with you." That May be petty to some of you, but good customer service is extremely rare these days. As he knew he was going to take a long time, he asked one of his associates to assist me. Wish all customer service can be like this.

The employee who helped me take my 2x2 passport pictures was very accommodating and fast. Took no more than 5 minutes. It was a bit pricey at $16, but very convenient for me.

If I could give this place 5000 negative stars I would. I don't even know how this store is still open. I called yesterday to have a prescription transferred from my mail order pharmacy to this location. I was told I would be called back in 3 hours and never was. I placed a call this morning to follow up and sat on the phone waiting for assistance for almost 45 minutes, being placed back into the queue 4 times. Once the call actually got picked up, no one said anything. I sat there listening to at least 3 people laughing and chatting away while I yelled into the phone trying to get someone to say something. Once they heard me someone said, "Yeah! Be right there!" Once someone actually picked up to help me, someone named AMY gave me attitude and told me she had no idea what I was talking about and continued to get exactly the same information I gave the person the day before. When I asked her when I would receive a call, she refused to answer me. I told her this is a medication I cannot go without. If she cannot help me in a timely manner, I need to go elsewhere. She still refused and then put me back on hold. I called back to speak with the manager who transferred me back to the pharmacy without telling me what he was doing. I get back on the phone with someone in the Pharmacy who had no idea what I was talking about (even though he seemed to be the only one competent enough to assist me). When I asked him when I would receive a call back, he told me he couldn't tell me that right now and that he had 5 calls to make ahead of mine. How does anyone get their prescriptions from this SHITTY place?!!

If it was not so convenient, I would transfer all of my family's prescriptions elsewhere. We have nothing but problems getting prescriptions handled between Walgreens and Kaiser doctors. This last time (a Friday of course) a prescription was called into Walgreens. After checking online several times and seeing nothing, I called Walgreens. In fact, I called 3-4 times and each time was told they never received anything. By this time it is after 5:00 and the doctor is gone. I spent 48 minutes on the phone with Kaiser explaining the situation and to get them to resend the prescription. I stayed on the line the whole time the pharmacist talked to Walgreens. After I hung up, I even called Walgreens to verify it had been received. Prior to this, I had sent an email to the doctor's office letting them know that the prescription had not been received. I received a phone call Monday morning from the medical assistant. The medical assistant told me that she personally called the prescription in on Friday and talked with someone. Sounds like they need someone with good organizational and managerial skills to come in and revamp the pharmacy.

What i don't understand is, how is this store not shut down. With all of the complaints on yelp and what i just experienced on 5/25/2019, its crazy that district manager or anyone in this company seem to not fix these issues. Not only did the pharmacist put the same sticker of medications on two different bottles one that ibuprofen the other tylenol shows her incompetence. The store was dirty and nasty; with trash on the floor , stains on the wall, and wall paper peeling off the wall by the pharmacy. On top of that when as i was walking out of the store a customer, A CUSTOMER! Was talking to one of the employees about slapping one of her co worker and said word for word "i don't care i will slap her i don't work here!" This store scream unprofessionalism at its finest!!! Even if my comment was read they aren't going to do anything about it not with bad reviews reaching back to 2010. This is stupid!

Dysfunctional and unprofessional. For months now the shelves have been nearly bare. The manager claims there are not enough employees to keep the shelves fully stocked, pathetic excuse. You can't tell me there are not people who need jobs who would gladly work here and take pride in this store. I have been coming to this Walgreens for the last 20 years and it's was always an excellent well stocked store until recently. Long lines and other issues in the pharmacy. Panhandling constant outside store, parking lot unsafe. This store either needs new management and a complete overhaul or needs to just shut down. The way this store is run now is unacceptable.
