I came in for some help with a beginner wood painting project. Went straight to the cashier to ask for someone to help me and was told to wait in the corresponding aisle. No one ever came and no one came to inform me that they did not have anyone who had any knowledge of painting on wood, which I could understand that not all staff is trained in all types of art, but at least have the courtesy to come and tell me. The cashier later said the best resource would be Google and order from an online store...what is the point of coming to Michaels then. Michaels is not what it used to be.

bought a couple of frames for the BOGO 50% off cashier was super weird. kept asking about the protection plans and insisted for me to get it even after i said no. turns out she accepted the protection plan on my behalf and she said 'might as well keep it now that i scanned it' and i said no i don't want it weird ass experience

Michaels is one of those arts and craft stores that has a lot of general "artsy" stuff for hobbyists but nothing more serious than that. So if you're looking for professional grade supplies you're better off going to a specialty store. This particular location is pretty small and is somehow always running low or completely out of things I need. Also, they always seem to be short staffed. It's sometimes hard finding someone out on the floor and there's always only one person working the register. All in all, it works for a pinch.

I had called early in the morning before the store opened and to my Surprise a person named Imelda answered the phone! I asked about Earring holders what Varieties did they have and Prices. She asked me to hold and came back with a Great Answer. Shapes, Sizes and cost. So now I will drive there today knowing exactly what I want. Thank you for answering the phone even though Store was not even open for Business. I really appreciate that very MUCH!! That Excellent Customer Service! Good Job! They generally always are pretty good about directing you somewhere looking for something (but not always), the lines can get long during peak seasons. They will always honor store discounts even if you forgot to bring your coupon on the phone.

For every hobby there is a store as I say. But if you want to get very creative with crafts and also easily spend an hour in this store Michaels is the store to go to with reasonable prices on crafting supplies that you need to do your project. I guess for me, bead work once in a blue moon can be fun customizing your own bracelet and so forth. So many trinkets and beads to inspire the projects you are wanting to design. You will find the items you are looking for designing or they can help you locate it online.

Like any other Michaels the layout are similar. The store is very clean. Workers here nice and friendly. Love their Christmas display. Don't forget to use the Michaels app for coupons. The downside is that they need more lights at the parking lot area.

Was it the manager talking on the phone and following us through the whole store? This is just the basic Michaels. It's fine. But one of the employees literally would follow us around the store. I should have stolen something I guess. Because clearly while holding her cellphone to her face the entire time she also clearly took it upon herself to like I said FOLLOW US the whole entire time. I went in today and had amazing workout and meal prior before entering today. I went into the store being so happy to buy some shirts for the gym. We made our way to the shirt section. First off why are the shirts $5 now instead of the $2.99. Outrageous!! Second we needed to see what size was best to cover our gains and which would fit best. But we got rudely criticized by this asian lady that was a worker and said "you aren't supposed to try the shirts on" in a very mean way. Me and my gym partner looked at each other and laughed that she didn't want us to try the shirts on. It is probably because she didn't want to fix the shirts even though that's her job, AND GETS PAID TO DO SO. Mind you we were folding the shirts as we were done trying them on. We actually only tried one shirt on and folded it right away. Store was slow so I don't know why they wouldn't want work if we didn't decide to fold the shirt. A simple "Please don't mess it up or put it back please" would have been fine. I understand it's not a clothing store, but they have clothes with sizes that we should be able to try if we are planning to buy for whatever reason.

I placed a large order for bunting and ribbon for the 4th of July from Michaels.com. First time I've ordered from them, but my local store didn't have these items. When I received the order, over 1/2 of it had been substituted without notification. Specifically, I ordered 5 large 3 ft x 6 ft Valley Forge Fabric bunting and instead received cheap flocked 18in x 36 inch plastic bunting by Ashland. I ordered 6 spools of 1 specific style of navy ribbon with stars and received 3 striped ribbons and 3 of a different star pattern. I also ordered some smaller Valley Forge bunting (received correctly) and some 5 inch red mesh ribbon (also received correctly) When I called customer service, they were very polite, issued a return label promptly. But when I asked about them resending the correct items, they would not do that until 3-5 days after they received the return. Too late for my party. So I returned it all. Customer Rep was fine with that and said I'd get a full refund once return was received. (Keeping my fingers crossed that that will happen). No charge for the refund. But I'm disappointed this order was so wrong. Update....Also, tried to post this review to their site. It said I had ad blocker on. Checked my settings....it said "allow"....searched my applications....no ad blocker.....no security app with ad blocker turned on. Strange....did they just not like my review because it was so bad?

Went in this afternoon and was very impressed. I forgot my mask and was offered one in the most polite and professional way by the manager. I think the cashiers name was Maribel she was also awesome! She was working hard to make customers happy and seemed really happy to be at work. Really impressed with the staff at this store! I'll be back soon.

Poor service on framing taken forever to get my picture back saddest service ever. They can't keep track of anything. If you use them take pictures of front and back of what you leave there

My go to Michaels location for sure Tons of parking Nice and clean location, items are easy to find Staff is nice and helpful
