DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE APP. you will share all of your info and they track it. if you do download, delete immediately and cancel your account. the manager Edgar will not respond to your request even tho asked to text for q/a. the staff is pushing ALL clients to download the app. it's the only way to get your rental. they are signing you up for newsletters and selling your information. you have to even put in other people info and they run a mini background check on everyone. be aware!

It was amazingly smooth. The staff was very helpful. I would just recommend them to take special attention for those who would be driving trucks for the first time & give them little tutorial and tips on how to operate. It's definitely different experience than driving regular cars. All good otherwise.

Everything was fine, I had no problems with the truck, the only thing that did not seem right was that I put more gas than the 3/4 and almost delivered it with a full tank, they told me they could not do anything about it and also charged me the difference for the miles I used.

Our truck wasn't at the shop at the time of arrival. On the website it says you are promised the truck at your reservation time or given $50 credit and a truck. The staff did not hold up this policy. We were given a truck 25 minutes later. However, it was very irritating because I had taken my 18 month old with me to pick up the truck, hoping it would be on time. However, it wasn't. Luckily, we managed to get the truck after waiting 25 minutes. The staff didn't seem to care that we were waiting for the truck past our time.

Outstanding service. Was provided a like new truck with excellent power and was good on gas. Really saved me a lot, plus the boxes and items were delivered safely with no vibration or impact on road conditions. Agent was friendly and knowledge based on insuring a smooth transaction.

Stood in line for 40 minutes just to be told the card I've been using for 5 years, I can't use at this location because it doesn't match my name. Crazy because I've probably been to uhaul OVER 100+ times and this is the FIRST time this has happened. Will never return to this location ever. If I could rate this location 0 stars I would.

When I think of world-class moving truck companies, I thought of UHaul. I couldn’t afford any hassles, so I decided to spend the funds and source the top brand. It was such an awful experience and I never complain.1. I reserved a one-way truck a week in advance at UHaul Tustin to move to San Diego.2. They changed the truck size from 20’ to 26’ and sent us 40 miles north to LaHaba for it. When we got there no one was comfortable driving a 26’ and they had no other trucks available.3. We went back to UHaul Tustin. They had a 20’ which was for local rental only, meaning I’d need to return the truck to the same location in Tustin.4. After we rented the 20’ local, the key was bent and wouldn’t work well. The UHaul guy, Juan, mentioned how we’d have to jiggle the key to get it to work. It ripped my skin trying to get this to work each time.5. We were so backed up on time that we couldn’t unload when we got to San Diego, it was too late. There was a lock on the truck but we had no key for it. We had to go buy a lock to use. From driving all over in my own vehicle wasting time and gas, starting 3 hours late on loading the truck, getting to our destination so late, it was all so far from world-class. I just couldn’t fathom it.The individuals along the way were nice/gracious but kept saying they couldn’t give me any discount for my time or hassle spent. The systems need to change. Especially given I reserved a week in advance. Such an unfortunate experience. I have a new opinion of UHaul.

I rented a 26 foot U-Haul truck and when I started driving it going about 45 to 60 miles. The cab was very rough ride bouncing back-and-forth almost seem like a transmission problem. Doesn’t seem like this location services their trucks or check them out too often.

Top notch service. Fast. Efficient. Absolutely amazing. Almost like a military operation of a fighter jet ground crew getting the pilot into their plane to take off on an emergency. One clerk, Jose, was typing up an order while barked out the truck ID to his fellow worker who grabbed the key and took off to get the truck ready for take off. As I rounded the counter, Jose pivoted and held open the door to the garage then he started running after me to the truck for last minute mirrors adjustments and a quick equipment check. Then a salute before take off. What an epic experience!

I rented a truck on 10/6/2023 to drive from Tustin to Costa Mesa to help my son move. The truck had plenty of room and drove smoothly. The air conditioning in the truck was great which was convenient because it was a really hot day outside. The check in process at the return was easy. I'll definitely rent here again.

I rented from here Labor Day weekend. Van was infested with ants. Not only in the cargo area but also in the front/cabin. To the point they were crawling all over me for my entire 6 hour drive i kept having to get them off me. And of course they were all over some of my stuff in the cargo area too. Then to top it off U-Haul billed me $1,764 fee for returning the van to a location different than where i picked it up. Only a few hundred miles away. They told me $4-500 max fee. Instead $1,764 on top of the rental. SCUMBAGS! I’m not paying! ??♂️

My experience renting a 26' truck was bad. I reserved a 26' truck a week before I needed it and the reservation was confirmed. When I went to pickup they did not have it. They offered me a 20' truck which was much smaller for my job. I rented an additional truck which cost me much more than I had planned. I lost a couple of hours just working out logistics with the Uhaul agent. I also ended with additional labor needed to drive a truck etc. The customer service agent did not offer me any discount though it was their fault.

We just completed a move to Northern California, and it is true that it is a lot of work that you don't appreciate until you go through it. One bright spot was working with the U-Haul team in Tustin, where I spent a lot of time buying boxes and other supplies. A special shout out to Anthony, Angela and a third team member whose name I didn't get when I needed to get more packing paper and the U-Haul computer systems went down and no transactions could be made. I was leaving the next morning, and since I was there earlier in the day, Anthony trusted me to get the packing paper and pay earlier the next morning, which I promptly did when opened first thing the next morning. I know there is a risk to allow that because many people would not follow through, but I genuinely appreciated it. While the U-Haul Tustin team is always helpful, friendly and professional based on my experience, I am disappointed the U-Haul company does not maintain its computer systems, and it appears they significantly understaff their team, which puts a lot of pressure on them with anxious customers. U-Haul also should give raises to their Tustin staff to recognize their hard work and great service.
