I come in for Happy returns here & there & I never had issues until one time I came in & there was no one else in line so I walked up to the register & Orlando was super rude & told me I would have to wait because it's going to take a long time to process my return & so he told me to get back into line (There were four people now in line) & he took everyone else & once I got up to the Happy return register he was super rude again but he processed my return super quickly so I was confused why he told he needed to boot up a computer when he didn't do any of that & made me wait for no reason. Now today, I came in & there was this lovely girl Laura & the line was long behind me so I was nervous I'd have to go back in the end of the line again but Laura smiled & she was so sweet & told me she could process my return at the regular petco register. It took all of like 2 minutes & I told her what happened with Orlando & she apologized profusely. It seems like the only issue here was Orlando & the way he treated me honestly ruined my day that day. If you see this man at the register discretion advised as he's not very friendly for a guy working at a pet store.

I place an online order to make it easier and “faster” but I literally had to wait 20 min since the time. I checked in to have my order take out to me. When I called the store I was told 5 min since there were only 2 employees working the whole store. I finally had to go in at get my items. When I stated that I was waiting more than 20 min and asked to speak with a manager. The actual manager named “Chen” told me that if I should have came inside I would have not waited. seriously then why even order online for me to go inside and collect the items myself. It’s crazy how only 2 employees are working.

Consistently has the food my dog eats available; Taste of the Wild.I normally order the food and other supplies auto-shiped online. Was away from home longer than expected and needed to supplement my supplies.There always seems to be a store nearby wherever you are, and it also appears that each store's products are staged in the exact same location regardless of store location. VERY CONVENIENT!!!

Called in with questions regarding their available leopard geckos. They were informative, although someone told me they were unable to gender their geckos. That surprised me, but I went in to gender them for myself and brought home an adolescent Leo, who I thought was female but arriving home realized it was male. I brought the beautiful lad back, and was allowed to exchange it for another. I was assisted by Matt, who was very hands on with the geckos, and knew how to separate males from females. Grateful for the help, props to Matt

My gf and I were passing by and noticed an adoption event was ongoing. We noticed a small chihuahua whose name was Pierre who was super friendly and we started to talk and play with him. The entire time no works/volunteers asked if we had any questions or interest. While playing with Pierre, one of the workers grabbed Pierre and moved him into another play around with other dogs without acknowledging us or even asking if we had questions. She then proceeded to talk to another family asking if they had interest in any of the dogs. The whole experience was off putting so we left.

Staff at this location was VERY helpful. I asked if they had a specific item and they went to look for it. Really appreciated that I wasn't sent to some aisle to look for myself.

We've been getting our mini labradoodle groomed here for several years and we've never had a bad experience. We've always been satisfied. But I wanted to especially give a glowing review to Kro. Kro is so gentle and has so much love in their heart for animals. It's evident in how much time and tenderness they give to their work as well as how they talk about the animals they get to work with. I always feel safe leaving our dog in Kro's care. Petco is very lucky to have them as an employee.

Petco did a great job cutting my dog's nails. The groomers are friendly and professional. They were fast and there was no wait in the early afternoon. Pricing is very competitive.

It is small but mighty. Even though it's a much smaller store than its Irvine counterpart, amazingly they have the same amount of staff working the same shift. I am usually there for aquarium related items and their tanks are never dead fish half eaten. And usually nicely decorated.Thank guys.

Would leave a zero star review if possible. The vet techs at this location are incompetent- they did not thoroughly look through the documentation I provided them and ended up pushing a vaccine on me that my cat did NOT need.I was hesitant because I originally thought she only needed her rabies shot (which is what I booked for) but figured they were the professionals so they know what they’re doing. They told me her FVRCP booster was up, and I should get that as well since that is a core vaccine. I asked them if they were sure because I remember going to the vet only a few months ago this year, but they said yes that’s what her certificate says. I should have trusted my gut, because after going through my paperwork again in the car I called my vet and she confirmed I was correct. So not only was my cat double dosed, but I was unnecessarily charged.In trying to solve the issue, Vetco let me know they cannot refund me at the store or through my credit card remotely (even though they clearly have that information on their end), and instead have to wait 21+ days for their “investigation” (them looking at 1 paper I had shown the original vet techs) to take place, and for them to mail me a physical check… to top it all off they couldn’t even provide me with any sort of documentation that this conversation happened! I told them I was worried I would have to call again and restart the whole process and would appreciate an email of some sort and she blandly just said “no we don’t do that”.Long story short- do not use vetco as a vaccine clinic! They only care about the money they make, not your pets health, and not you as a customer of theirs.
