I had a button sewn a button back on a pair linen pants, along with a few other pairs of pants and dress hemmed. A week later The button is already coming off.
The prices have increased drastically in the last year also, it's now $13 for pants hem and $30 for a dress hem

Went in Wednesday night at 6:50pm (10 minutes before they close) with a dress I had ordered online that was way too big. I needed it done by Saturday for a wedding. They pinned my dress super quick. I figured it wouldn’t be done in time but they had it ready for me by Friday afternoon! The seam was a little crooked on the side and the hips were still a little big but overall very happy with their work and the quick turnaround. Was $70 for them to take in the neck and the chest area.

I’ve been coming here for at least 3 years. But today they lost my business forever. I came in with a brand new, tags on, $170 dress, to hem and alter from an off the should dress to an on the shoulder dress. We met twice and I described how the dress was to be completed. The first time we moved the sleeve to where it would be placed on my shoulder, and the second time I tried on we talked about the new strap coming out to my shoulder to connect the sleeve to. After paying $125 to alter this dress, she gave me a dress that had double seems on the sleeve, that is now a quarter sleeve dress and baggy at the armpits. And she lost the original sleeves that came with my dress. I am so disappointed. When I came in to have it fixed to something I would be happier with, she instead argued to me that it looks fine and there’s nothing else she could do. Just spent $125 so she could botch my $170 dress that was meant for my maternity and newborn photos. I’m so unhappy with them. She would not even attempt to fix it.

This business enforces a $15 minimum transaction to use a credit card. It is illegal (per Dodd-Frank) to have a minimum transaction fee higher than $10 for credit cards. It also (redundantly) violates Visa and Mastercard rules for merchants which also disallow minimum transaction requirements above $10. Regarding Merchant Response: I am sorry that federal law and contractual terms imposed on you by payment processors are so inconvenient to you. However, my inconvenience will only cost you my future business. Your response to your own inconvenience could cost you major fines, the loss of your merchant accounts, and whatever other regulatory enforcement measures are in place.

Very disappointed, I will have to take my jacket to another place to fix the mess they made on my sleeves alterations. Not only were they still long only showing the tips of my fingers they were not sewn straight they were sewn diagonally. Unbelievable. The hems on my jeans were sewn crooked very disappointing, I won’t take these back to them to fix I just don’t trust their workmanship..

Delighted with the alterations made to our off-the-rack wedding dress. They skillfully repaired a lace hole, added a missing hook, adjusted the sides, and created a beautiful bustle for the train. The dress now fits perfectly. Highly recommend for any wedding dress alterations needed.

I had my daughter's pants altered here and the service was quick and easy, we were in and out in less than 10-mins without an appt, we just walked in. There are plenty of dressing rooms for multiple customers to be serviced at the same time. We dropped it off on a weekend and it was ready within a few days. Super cheap, too, I was surprised. I will take all of our clothes here when needed - from what I saw on their racks, they alter pretty much everything.

Min credit card charge $15, cost to hem /shorten sleeves on a suit coat $30. No menu or set costs I saw anywhere that nother post mentioned or costs anywhere I could find on website. A bit pricy for a hem, but near to my office.

I had a challenging tailoring problem on a fancy dress I bought for a wedding. Even though Kim was going on vacation, she made the time to help me schedule a fitting. Kim is a master seamstress and a hard worker. Everyone in there is nice and helpful. Great place for tailoring services. Been going here for years. Highly recommend

My wife had a dress altered in length. Seems simple enough, however, when she tried on the dress, the hem of the alteration was uneven. She brought the dress back to the shop, and they refused to fix their mistake, and wanted to charge her again. Keep in mind she paid $30 to have the hem altered. This is the second dress in a row with an uneven him that this location altered. We have been coming to this location for the last three years but unfortunately we will be taking our business elsewhere.

We should have known not to use this place when we walked in and found a customer frustrated and upset that the alterations to her daughter's dance costume were not complete, and the work that had been done was shoddy. We decided to give them a chance any way. Big mistake. They stated they could easily alter the dress we presented to them and when my daughter picked it up they handed it off to her saying "Here it's all perfect" and rushing her out of the store. She's a teenager and felt flustered. Lesson learned. NEVER leave without first trying on the garment. Well, she tried it on tonight and the dress looks horrible. All of the flattering aspects of the dress were altered -- without permission -- to look unflattering and the neckline is now completely unwearable. It literally looks like they went out of their way to destroy the dress in a game of "How ugly can we make this thing." And they charged $70 for their efforts! The dress itself was $90 so we are out $160! The only bright side is we can hopefully encourage others not to make the mistake we did -- AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.
