First off i never go to Dicks only reason I was there was because I was given a gift card. I wanted to buy a tent, I see online my local store has the one I want in stock. I go there to purchase it and dont see it on the self. I ask they guy behind the register if he can find it, he looks it up and tells me they do not have it. Seemed a bit strange that I just looked at it on line minutes ago and now it is not here. So i go back home and purchase the tent online. The website says it will notify me when the order is ready and I am certain that it will be days for the tent to arrive to my local store but to my surprise I get an email within a bout a half hour of purchase saying it is ready for pick up at the store I just left. So i call the store to see if the tent is really there and this is where their mistake became un-redeemable. I explain that I was just in here an hour ago and the employee just looked it up in front of me and said "we have no item in stock matching the one you are looking for" the customer service agent I am speaking with on the phone does not say sorry, or even acknowledge how inconvenient that is for me, instead he says "yeah I dont really trust that system" nothing about inconveniencing the customer now having to make multiple trips to a store that could have been avoided if they had a system they "trusted" a bit more, and the lack of accountability on the customer service agent was laughable. Like I said I have not been to a dicks in 20 years, I was just in there to spend a gift card I was given but my experience was not a good one. if this is how they run their company the lead dick or dicks in charge need to be concerned and may want to start prepping a resume. Online shopping is massacring retail store fronts and with Dicks operating at the standard I experienced, I can see why. Never again, dont waste your time.

We walked in tonight feeling very lost shopping for our son’s first baseball season. Nate came over and patiently walked us around the store and explained sizing and each item we needed. We were very impressed with his professionalism! Thanks for helping a lost family Nate! Someone give him a raise!

I would have given it a -5-star rating for customer service if possible. The person I dealt with, Trisia or whatever her name was, displayed extreme rudeness and provided no assistance. Despite having a gift card I wished to use, she curtly informed me that it wouldn't work. When I requested a receipt and asked about the issue, it seemed to inconvenience her. While I understand the stress of the holiday season and the strain on employees, it's crucial for customer service representatives to maintain a pleasant and helpful demeanor. Unfortunately, I won't return to this store or spend any money here again.

I came here to say that Brian in the shoe department was the friendliest and most helpful store employee I've ever interacted with. He was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to assist me. It was pretty busy and he was helping several people but he gave each of us his full attention and assistance. He deserves a raise and a promotion!

I order a special discounted Stanley from dicks and the order tracking sent me to China and I have complained many time only to be told to be patient. Order was completed and acknowledged on November 18th. I sent a formal complaint again that the tracking showed in orange but not delivered . Today it was updated in Chinese delivered. It has not been delivered! Horrible on line Dicks add false advertising

Nice layout of the store but takes too long for checking out. The guy in shoes section helped me find laces from not having to tie most footwear. Location was solid to be surrounded. Plenty of snacks near the register.

I went in to look at running shoes during the holiday season, honestly expecting it to be crowded and short-staffed. However, there were plenty of staff available near the shoe section ready to help! Gabe was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was able to answer all of my questions about which running shoes are best for the purpose I need. Gabe made my experience very positive and I appreciated it a lot - all the staff there were very kind!

We needed a last minute item for our wedding and Chandler was beyond helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure to help us!! 1000/10 customer service. Chandler deserves a raise honestly, best customer service ever received from this store :)

Didn't get the guys name at the golf services, said he just started working (30th Oct) but was really helpful and honest - makes me want to back and be continued customer. Hope the managers are able to continue that culture. Will be back to make some more golf purchases soon. Good vibes from everyone today!

I bought a 64$ pickle ball racket which I never opened and tried to return 3 weeks later. When I tried to return they said they didn't have a record/ my credit card on the system even though I paid with my card at the time. I showed them the digital bank transaction of the purchase but to no avail. They said I could return it but they will only give me 2$ back for it. Wtf? This place is horrible and it feels like I'm being scammed. I called customer service and they also said they didn't have my credit card on file. What kind of business is this? I'm never coming back and do not recommend. Stick to Big 5 or anything else.

Awesome shoe selection and really nice guys working in that department. I normally don't like having to ask for multiple pairs but the employees were really friendly and helpful and didn't make me feel like I was being a pain. I'll definitely be back.

I usually go to the one in Mission Viejo or Laguna hills. On Sunday, We decided to try this location since we were in our way back home to south OC and my son needed some equipment stuff for football season starting on Monday. Everything was fine until was time to pay, this employee cashed me out and when I looked at the receipt I say an amount that caught my attention but I still pay for it which was $380 and someChange. I thought myself this is a little high so I stopped on my way out and looked at the receipt and I saw a double charge of one item, I came back and talk to the same cashier an out it and he didn’t even apologize to me or anything and he said let’s go to the other cashier to refund your money, which I said ok it fine. Then when I was at the other register getting my money back I pulled all the purchased items out of the bag and star looking piece by piece and comparing this with my original receipt, well I’m glad I did that, I found 3 items getting double charge on the same receipt which was the amount of close to $160. So I said what is going on over here, I asked the cashier and just smile to me and didn’t even say sorry or apologize for it. He gave my my money back and said I need a signature here which I didn’t sign because I was very upset about the whole situation, stealing money from customers? I’m my way out a laddie was just standing at the door so I said are you the manager? She said yes how can I help you! I gave her a brief description about the whole situation and she said ohhh I’m sorry and keep talking to her employees since they were closing the sores at that time. To me this action was very disrespectful to me and my family , unprofessional the way they treat their customers, lack of training on how to handle situations like this specially from management, and definetly not trusting this location at all because if they did this to me, how many more customers go thru this and they don't even realize that they are getting double charging customers and people trusting this kind of employees? A very unhappy customer with this location. I will never go back to this location. Beware.

Employees are scarce so it's hard to get assistance, but when you do, they are very nice and helpful. The store is uncomfortably warm (it's summer), so quick trips are best. They seem to have great stock, and will order anything you need that they don't have in store, and have it shipped to you. Checkout is a little on the slow side, but not too bad. Overall great store!
