I've been going to Mckenzie Avon for I think a year now which is really rare for me to stay with one stylist. I've been in the area for 5 years and she has been the only one to check all my boxes. She listens to what I want but asks more questions to get a better understanding. She recommends things that would look good on me and after trusting her a few times I now let her do whatever since she knows my style. I get highlights and a different cut everytime and I've never had an issue. I LOVE her scalp massages at the bowl hehe :) She gives me the prettiest blowout at the end or curls if I ask! She is also very easy to talk to and conversation flows so naturally, im comfortable, it's like we are family. There have been a few times where I've had to work or be on calls during our time and she is super respectful and patient about it. The salon is clean, there is always someone sweeping, dusting, wiping mirrors or refilling bottles and the volume of music and/or talking has never bothered me (they have some great playlists however). I always walk out of the salon happy :)

I worked for them for 10 years unfortunately I was young and I didn't know the way I should get paid. Also Sean told one of the receptionist do not give her new clients because she is getting fat. I should have done something at that point but that is not me but as I get older it wish I did it.

@HairByKatieNicole is the best stylist I've ever had! I'm so serious. She is the kindest soul, absolutely hilarious, and gives the best scalp massages I've ever had. Her color tones are so ON TREND, you get effortless luxury and I get compliments all the time. Shes such a vibe, I'd literally just spend the money to hangout with her. If you need a hair stylist go to Katie she's so talented!

Great experience with McKenna. I have long fine straight Asian hair that was almost all one length and volume was overwhelming me because I'm short. I also got bored and tried to chop at it so she had to help me fix that, lol. Asked my stylist for some short face framing layers and layers for movement throughout my hair - without sacrificing the length. She totally delivered with ease. My hair looks so healthy with the trim, feels lighter, and I don't FEEL like it's any shorter. I also love that McKenna didn't curl my hair after cutting it. It was great to see how it looks straight like normal and I could see the precision work done. Love the place, very clean and modern. Super grateful for the refreshments and overall I think I will be back based on my experience! Thank you!

5/5 on cleanliness and service and hair care quality! Everyone here is so nice and helpful! They will take care of you and greeet you right away. Lots of services offered and they sell original products by other vendors! I loved it here.

Whatever you do, don't go to Kelly. She is the absolute worse. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she barely glanced at it and went on to cut my hair in a completely different way. Never checked in with me. I'm so disappointed. She chopped up my hair into layers I didn't even ask for. Not blended at all. She was rough and kept hitting me in the face. I regret coming here.

Took my 11 year old daughter to the salon for the first time and she loved it! Not knowing what kind of hairstyle she wanted, we worked with Daniela to come up with something she'd be happy with. Daniela was extremely patient and did a fantastic job. We'll definitely go back to her again.

If you want to be treated like you matter, go to this salon. The owners are such beautiful, caring, truly good people, and this salon deserves your business! Salons got hit hard during Covid, yet Christopher Perry got creative and sacrificed so that they could still be here to serve the community. I live in San Diego now, and I drove up just so that I could ask Perry to revive my hairstyle and make me cute again after years of growing it out (I had 6 inches of grey in my medium length highlighted blond hair). It looks fantastic with some scattered highlights that don't undo my years of allowing the "silver" to come in, and the cut is a bit edgy and so easy to care for. Yesterday I got compliments from two young women in their teens, and caught a table of women my age (50s) checking out my cute cut at lunch. Treat yourself and get a great cut and color at this wonderful salon.

Phenomenal experience with Hashem here. It’s been historically challenging for me to find a hair person who was either a right match or worth the value. Hashem is truly worth it. Not only personable but extremely talented. I’ve gone to him twice now and get constant complements on the result by friends and family when I leave. Highly recommend.

Even though my daughter liked her partial, highlight and trim, I was flabbergasted to be charged $380. We were there 2 1/2 hrs.I will not be returning to this outrageously overpriced, expensive salon.

The best salon I have ever been to! Katie does my hair and shes pure talent. I've never found a better place or stylist. Im obsessed. I never write reviews but this place deserves one because they are THE BEST.

I scheduled an appointment yesterday for this afternoon. I understand people call out sick, but so frustrating to not get a cancellation call or message. I arranged my day around this appointment. I went in and they told me they called. They did not.
