Walked into the store, and no one greeted me. Walked around by several associates, and they did not acknowledge my present. Did not offer to help. I just talked among each other. Horrible customer service.

Stood in line for 20 minutes then the cashier's number wasn't working and stood there for another 10 minutes. Staff was rude with no personality. Don't expect much from big lots, but wow....

Great prices on just about everything and with the holidays coming up they have deals on top of the great prices so I'm glad to pick up my Christmas decorations here

The store was incredibly messy and unorganized like usual, every big lots store seems to be this way. Items were priced more than in most stores. Never acknowledged by an employee, which is another norm for big lots stores

I purchased a couch back in May and recently (January) the left side back wouldn't come back up after reclining. I wasn't too concerned because I took out the Protection Plan when I purchased it, so I contacted square trade / all state. I was informed that they couldn't help since it was still under Manufacturer warranty and that had to expire before the protection plan kicked in, so to contact the manufacturer.No contact info provided, so I contacted Biglots live chat on the website to try to get the manufacturer info, who gave me a number to call. At this point I figured I'd just go into the store rather than dealing with auto voice menu systems.The young man at the store was very helpful and apologetic and stated its a biglots brand so there is no manufacturer info, but he had one in stock so we could do a straight exchange. Wonderful.Problem: I had paid $95 extra for delivery on the original order, since I had no way to pick the couch up. But because they use a third party service, I now had to find a way to bring the broken couch into the store and exchange it.At this point I was hoping biglots would simply arrange pick up and delivery, after all its under Warranty and I took out the extra protection plan. I was given a customer care number to call, so back to that. I contacted customer care and was told someone would get back to me within 2-3 days. I actually got a response back quickly (the next day) basically telling me my only option was to rent a Uhaul and make the exchange.I have to say, the staff at Biglots (Turlock Store) was wonderful and did everything they could, but wasn't impressed with how much back and forth there was with no real solution.Also, both biglots and allstate told me I had to purchase a new protection plan ($80) for the replacement unit, even though I was only 6 months in to the 3 year plan I already purchased. I guess its in the terms and conditions. Honestly that doesn't even make sense since it wasn't a claim, by their own statement, it was a manufacturer warranty issue, and I couldn't make a claim with them.Just be careful if you use the delivery service, understand if you have to return it (even if its damaged upon delivery) its left to you to figure that out, and at that point, any protection plan you added on / paid for is pretty much useless.The staff are helpful and will do what they can to help, but their hands are tied by these crazy policies.

They have three isles full of Christmas stuff and only honoring certain things don't waste ur time!!! One of the worst establishments I've ever been too in Turlock ca way to go Turlock I've already contacted bbb and reported this as well
