We were on a road trip and ran into a check engine light. They got right on it and helped us get out and on the road super quick! Genuinely great people. Super friendly and has great conversation! Also has lots of Subaru knowledge.

Told me to come in after I called saying there was a growling noise coming from the rear differential of my vehicle. Charged me $90 to drive the car and confirm that there was a sound coming from the rear diff and told me to go to a transmission shop.
Won’t be back.

Was on a roadtrip and noticed a leak on the car, they had me come in while i was in town so they could tale a look at it and didnt charge me for the service. Nice guys!

Ward & Sons is one of the best auto mechanics I have ever had the fortune to find. I was just pulling into Truckee when all of my engine lights flashed on; I suspected a valve body needed to be replaced on my Subaru, so I called a couple places in town. Ward & Sons won me over immediately - their team is so incredibly kind, helpful and responsive. When I explained I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible, Danielle made a quick call to Subaru and was miraculously able to have authentic Subaru parts delivered same day, with my car back up and running by around noon the following day, with regular text updates. She even came by to specifically introduce herself when I brought the car in. I could tell that they really CARED to help me. They were honest, straightforward and just so friendly - didn’t try to upcharge or upsell me at all, just offered good advice and great work. I’ll come back for all of my future car needs!! Thank you!!!

I never review businesses but I really just want to express gratitude for Ward and Sons. They have been so helpful getting our vehicle safe and ready for winter, and the customer service has been a breath of fresh air. You can tell they really care about their customers, and we love supporting this small business.We also trust their mechanics' judgement, something that is invaluable to us. They treat our car like it's theirs--it's clear they're not just trying to make a buck, but their goal is to keep our car running safely, smoothly, and for a fair price. If something is preventative but recommended, they'll tell you. If you can wait a few thousand miles, they'll tell you that, too. Honestly, I can't recommend it more highly!! They’re the best. Absolutely worth any wait you may need to endure. I’ll always take my Toyota sienna’s here. They helped me get 60k miles of life out of an 04 Sienna I bought with 250k miles on it. It’s still running. I just upgraded but I’m sure the next person will continue to get plenty more miles out of it.
