Cute local store in Truckee with friendly service. Happy to support a local business. They have a lot of shirts, sweats, sweatshirts that are neatly stacked, stickers, candles, mug and more with the 89 logo. Got myself a nice smelling locally made candle.

The California 89 Staff there is a class act. I had made some mistakes with orders and they cleared it up super quick and the team were really friendly and kind. Please support their business, you can't get this level of quality customer service at too many places anymore.

Merchandise is very overpriced. More importantly though the owner / manager is very hostile and has an explosive temper. Beware!

Great product design. Very poorly run business. Case in point: We gave a $150 gift card to a family member for Christmas. That person went to the store today to use it. Super inexperienced and poor employees couldn’t figure it out. They called the manager who “didn’t want to deal with it”. Beware. Owners- up your game with your employees if you don’t want to alienate all your local customers and their families.

Looks like an awesome shop, but hours posted weren’t accurate. Waited a bit after opening at 10 and no one came. Tried calling too. Too bad, we were looking to purchase in store and not online, and were only visiting for morning.

I probably buy sunglasses from here every 3-4 months, but won’t anymore.Not sure why I was the selected one to ask to put my mask on…as was literally doing it..when four other people walked in with no mask.Get a better attitude lady. This mask drama has got to go.

Incredibly over-priced and rude staff. So many other amazing stores in Truckee. Would not waste time at this establishment. As others have commented - rude, "too busy to care" attitude. Can get any of the clothes in store at Brandy Melville or other similar touristy store.
