To anyone who is considering taking their vehicle to Firestone. DON’T!!! They are scammers, liars, unprofessional and the store manager Monica is rude and a piece of work. My young son had taken his vehicle in for a simple oil change and they ended up doing more work on his vehicle without his consent and charged him over $600. When my son tried to fight it and refused to pay they held his car hostage. Monica and her employee Isaac swore up and down that my son gave them consent and when he asked for proof that he gave them consent they couldn’t prove it and ended up calling security forces and told them all kinds of lies. My son had no choice, but to pay the money if he wanted his car back. We tried to reason with her and asked if she could meet him half ways, but she was so rude, very disrespectful and unreasonable. They take advantage of young people and miss quote their customers. Monica should be fired for how she treats her customers. How is this business helping our military community? If you can take your business elsewhere do it! AVOID FIRESTONE!!

Terrible service 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Monica and Issac are terrible managers at this location. They will quote you for one price that is low and charge you higher. I went in for an oil change and ended up having my rear rotators and break pads changed they charged me over $700 Monica kept insisting that my brakes were near discard. My brakes were just recently done and checked by manufacturer. They will take advantage of you and they’ll scam you out of your money. When I didn’t consent to my brakes being replaced and did so anyways and charged me for it. They had no proof that I consented to the change. they will lie straight to your face, Monica the store manager is very disrespectful and rude she yelled at my family and called security forces on us because I refused to pay for the amount when I DID NOT CONSENT TO ANY SORT OF CHANGE. For being on base you would think you would get a lower price. I recommend going elsewhere.

I’ve never been to a worse Firestone. The gas pumps barely work, needing to be constantly held or readjusted when filling up, it’s been going on for years and they haven’t even tried to fix them. The staff lies a lot, saying whatever they need to get your business. They put the wrong filter in my wife’s car, causing a problem that cost $200 to repair, our section won’t even take our vehicles to them anymore for tires and we work on base.

You might think this service being offered on base is beneficial to service members, but the reality I experienced is that you’re paying a hefty premium for the convenience when you can get the same work done off base for far less money. Which is what I will be doing, unfortunately.I didn’t actually get any work done because the price I was quoted for tires was so unreasonable it struck me as borderline predatory. I was told there was only one option for run-flat tires for my vehicle and that changing all four would cost $2400 before taxes. I found many perfectly good options online ranging from $1000-$1300. I asked if they could price match or if I could purchase the tires separately and ship them to the store to be installed, to which I was told no to both. The person working up front was friendly and professional, and tried working with me on the price to a degree but couldn’t get anywhere close to what I considered reasonable. I could have gotten them changed at the dealership for less money. While I was there, I overheard them tell a customer that their coolant was low and it would cost $170 to flush the system and top off coolant…when the actual fix was to buy a ~$20 bottle of coolant, assuming there’s no leak (which a $170 flush wouldn’t fix either).Bottom line, ensure you’re being quoted competitive prices, or spend your money somewhere else.

Took forever to try and fix flat tire… 3 hours later they called because they couldn’t lift car to do it… went to pick up key the took another 30 minutes. Poor service. I know where not to go for new tires

My son is in the military and he is on special duty at Travis Air Force Base. His Jeep Wrangler was running rough and had to have it towed to base. The guys at Firestone got it in, did a diagnostic on it and came up with 1800.00 work of repairs. None of which would have made the Jeep run better. They said it was throwing two different codes (P0171 map sensor and P02096 O2 sensor) but they coldn't fix that which they didn't let my son know until asked. I then called to try and get some detailed information regarding what they were doing and they said the Jeep needed new shocks, had a PH imbalance in the coolant system 6.5 instead of 7.0 ( so they said). needed and oil change (just changed a week ago) and there was a drip of oil underneath that they would have to run a dye test on. When my son called and asked them to not fix the shocks the estimate went from 1800 to 428 which included an oil change, coolant change and dye. I asked if they could actually fix what my son brought it in for and they said no. I asked for some more detail about the work order and the guy, bothered that I'm asking, abruptly puts me on hold. I called back and another guy answered. He put me on hold. I was professional and was simply asking for details to help my son who is 2800 miles from home. Honest people don't mind explaining their work. Honest people don't put you on hold abruptly without letting you know. These guys saw my son, from Ohio, and tried to take advantage of him. Military folks. You work hard and sacrifice too much to get your money taken from you by a shop that's dishonest. Stay away! My next email will be to the Air Force, after that the Attorney General. They tried to steal from the wrong guy. Check out all the 1 star reviews if you need more reason to stay away!

They earned my trust and they did a great job, fairly quickly. They did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

I have been here a few times, ussualy takes 2-4hours for a basic oil change. I aways scheduled an appointment. One time I came in for a scheduled oil change and they didn't have an oil filter in stock. I tried multiple times, but service has always been worse and longer than others I've been to. Location wise, it's by far the nost convenient, however going 30 minutes out of way seems faster.

Oil change that normally costs $80 in Vacaville dealership costs $168 dollars at this location. Do not go here they are ripping off veterans and their families. It also took 2 hrs for them to do a simple oil change with an appointment

I've had very bad experience at this place a few months ago and the painful part is the disrespectful behavior of some staff members especially the huge man that works at the front desk. I brought in my car for oil change and ended up having my tire loosened and they wouldn't fix it when i noticed it could not drive it with the amount of noise it was making. I ended up taking it off base and the mechanic only simply had to fix the tire back by tightening it back and told me it was at the verge of coming off had I driven it any further. It looks like they intentionally cause a problem in your car so that you can come back there again. Same thing happened to my hubby's car about 2 days ago and I had to come and leave this review. Has anyone had similar challenge?Service: Oil change

Since we have been on travis base we has not have one single great experience with them. The dude and disrespectful. They were very rude to us the last time. I changed my oil and i picked up my car with a loosen stud hanging. I complain and ask why it was like that they tell me it was like that prior they working on my car. Haven't been able to drive my car since now i have to to tow it to a different mechanic to get it check. And the painful part is this is not the first time it has happen this way. This will be out last time there.

My husband works at the base and needed to get his flat tire switched out. He dropped off his car in the morning before he went to work, around 9am today, and he was told AND was given confirmation that they’ll be get it done before he gets off. 4:30pm he heads back there and they literally tell him they forgot about it. He then proceeded to wait an hour after being told that. Mind you, my husband lives an hour away and we just had a newborn, so he got home really late. All that, and he still paid regular price, didn’t even give customer satisfaction or compensation. Didn’t even say sorry! I’ve had the same issue with a different firestone branch but was given compensation for waiting so long, but the workers in this one? It’s like they shouldn’t even be in customer service.Service: Tires
