“I'm a non-bank customer and stopped by the Tracy branch today to look into a matter regarding a business check drawn on this bank, intercepted before I received it, then deposited by someone else into a different account at another bank. I was greeted warmly by two people when I walked in, and thanked by three people when I left. Unlike the big and impersonal bank I currently bank with, I didn't need an appointment to talk with a personal banker. Michele P., assistant customer service manager, immediately sat down with me and listened to the issue, explained the procedures, and phoned a second person to double check that this somewhat rare case was being handled correctly. Brochures were easily accessible for me to peruse while I waited a few minutes. The matter will likely take a few days to a week to process, but I felt well taken care of, and Michele plans to follow up with me later today or tomorrow. She also answered several questions about new checking/savings accounts, and let me know that they offer auto loans, etc. Overall impressions of her: Exceptional customer service, knowledgeable, kind, patient and professional. Impression of the bank: Friendly employees! No waiting - which was great! - and it was interesting that everyone's voices echoed a bit, due to the tile floor in the lobby area (there could be carpet other places; I didn't notice). The branch location is centrally located off 11th St. at Central, and is slightly hard to get to due to the busy intersection, but there's a good sized parking lot with ample parking. I was so impressed, I'll tell anyone I can about this place. And when it comes time to open a new account someplace, for myself or a family member, I'll remember the positive impressions I received and may bring my business here. “I absolutely love this branch. I recently was looking to open another line of credit and didn't know were to look. So I choose 3 local big name banks in Wells, Case, BofA. The first two listed I had a horrible experience and one of them even profiled me and didn't think I'd be approved and this was before we even sat down. Little did the Case banker know I went on down the street to Bank of America with my 822 fico score and was approved. This process was very fast and easy. I was greeted by every employee that crossed my path and I was even introduced to the branch manager. I had my one year old with me who was getting restless and the staff was so nice to allow me to walk around with here and then continue once's my daughter let some of her energy out. Banking isn't always about the best rate or who has what deal because your going to bank regardless, to me it's always about customer service and the relationship built.
