Public Storage on Lomita Bl in Torrance. Firstly excellent location. Secondly, delightful personnel. Namely Jennifer. Very friendly, nice, courteous and helpful. Very professional and knowledgeable. The whole process of registering was pretty painless. Jennifer made it easy. Location is excellent, layout is excellent and area is clean, organized and secure.

Michael is a kind manager. Sticks to the rules and hours open.You can't use the bathroom anymore. Not sure why not. As least clean when I have been there.

I have changed my review to a "five!" Turns out that I had the wrong location, and Public Storage had been trying to contact me. Manager Michael looked up my original complaint (even though it wasn't his location) and explained the solution they had offered me. It met my approval, so problem solved! Thanks Michael!

The guy that was working the front desk today was absolutely excellent! He was very friendly, made sure we understood everything, and made the whole process incredibly smooth. I wish I would have gotten his name because he was so incredible. I've been to other Public Storage facilities in Torrance and he was by far the best employee I've ever dealt with. Very pleased with my visit to rent a storage unit.

They say you can closeout your unit within the app but not really...can't find it. They make it hard for you to close out if not in person. Otherwise, the place is clean but not cheap. Rent keeps going up and up. Access hours are reasonable but not 24 hours. After hours, it's hard to reach anyone to help you unless like to listen to a recording that directs you back to the app. Depending on the personnel, some have attitudes. Just ignore that and go about my business.

The price increases at this facility each year are outrageous. Just be aware if you plan to store anything for an extensive period, your rate will probably double within a couple years. The facility itself is nice, the price increases are the only issue...but it's a big one! Searching around for another option now.

I was looking to store some stuff from the house in a unit to clear up some space and came into this property and was helped by Catt. She was very insightful and resourceful and assisted me with making a sound decision regarding purchasing a unit. I appreciated her assistance and I was very pleased with her service.

Within 3 months my public storage charges went UPfrom $111 to $154. 2 months later to $211 ! My payments were not late. automatically taken monthly. So they advertise $1 for 1st month. They get your $$ Public storage payment hikes are ridiculous. Don't fall for $1 1st month. Unless you only need it for 1 month

This us a horrible storage facility. They bait you to come in by advertising first month free. Then when you go to reserve it they tell you it's based on availability and they have none available. The manager Lance was extremely rude. Horrible customer service skills. He was very nosy as well. I thought it was on that he was always lurking around trying to see what I had in my storage. Apparently there's been some break-ins over there. Hopefully he doesn't have anything to do with them. On top of that it took me four times to actually catch him in the office. He always had a sign out front saying that he would return in an hour. This happened four times in 1 day. I guess they take really long lunches over there. If I could get my money refunded I would have left after 1 hour there but I guess I'm stuck here for a month but they won't get another penny off of me after that

Storage is not reliable , not safety .in August 2021 our storage someone was opened and our things were stolen.today 4/2022 and The insurance company still doesn't want to pay compensation, they not answer us, Michael- manager always says he doesn't know anything . Insurance company - not working in this storage.

Customer since before 1990. Expensive but necessary. In 30 years we've never had a problem except that entering the gate was tricky but with their app it's easier.

Last summer, in my first experience with Public Storage, I showed up when the facility was scheduled to open that morning. I had already reserved my unit, and I needed the manager to help me get situated. I had already spoken with him, and he told me the hours he'd be there. The manager showed up a half-hour late. He's the only person I've seen working there, so there was no one else to help me. When I told him I was waiting, he told me he had to make a bank deposit. When I show up at a storage facility that is scheduled to be open at a certain time, I expect someone to be there and be professional about it. Yesterday, in my last experience with this facility, I had just cleared out my storage space when I ran into the manager and informed him that I wouldn't be needing the unit anymore. I went right to my car and drove straight to the exit gate. The manager had already canceled my code before I had time to exit, so I was locked in. It took me 15 minutes to find the manager after that, which made me late for my next appointment. I told him he locked me in by canceling my passcode before I had enough time to exit. He only responded by saying that I told him I was through with the unit. That was actually his response. I was upset, and he eventually offered an apology. However, I found it to be very smug and insincere. I never want to use this facility with management like this again. This is the first time I've written a negative review on Yelp. I hope no one else has this kind of experience.
