This bank has now become the top of the top with the new regime. Wasnt like this years ago. Ive been a customer there over a year and Im hardly a big fish but they treat me like Im the KINGFISH!. Brianna and her crew do back flips to take care of you and quickly. Rarely a line as they keep things moving and have numerous outstanding different banking products. I cant recommend them enough. Not too mention its extremely convenient to also knock off some grocery shopping since they are nestled right inside Albertsons and convenient ATM machine as well.

Bad branch and poor business ethics at this branch and the two in Thousand Oaks I would recommend any other bank.

I made a mobile check deposit into my checking account for $200 and the entire fund was available to me right away. After seeing the fund was available, I transferred the fund to my US Bank's saving account. Later that day, when I logged onto my account, I saw a negative checking account balance. It turned out that there was a hold placed on my deposit hours after the fund was made available to me. I was told by the US Bank's fraud prevention team that there was nothing wrong with my check deposit, it was this very branch placed an extended hold on my deposit. Why making the fund available to me and took it away hours after? If the hold was going to be placed on the deposit, hold the fund right after the deposit. Don't screw customers by falsely releasing the fund and took it away hours after customers have transferred the fund. It seems like this is a cheap attempt to charge customers for overdraft fees. If I didn't check my account balance later that day, I would be charged with an overdraft fee.

I couldn't disagree more with some of the comments on this page. I have been with this location since it was Downey Savings and although I miss aspects of the smaller bank, I am extremely happy with the service I have received with US Bank, and more specifically, this branch. It sounds like to me that the problem was not with the employees as much as it was accounting errors made on your parts to warrant the fees. I too have made accounting errors resulting in overdraft fees, but was happy to pay them in lieu of bouncing a check or being sent to collections. Just a reminder, this branch does not make the rules and to blame them for doing their job is short sided. Unfortunately, fees are part of the corporate nature and is consistent with all of the banks. In regards to the customer service I find them to be exemplary. In fact, they saved me thousands of dollars and a credit bureau nightmare. Recently, a woman tried to fraudulently withdraw funds from my account, and because of the relationship I had built with this branch, they blocked the transaction from happening. Rather than letting the person get away with fraud, they sent an email to the other branches notifying them of the occurrence, thereby informing the Moorpark Rd. branch who was ready for the woman when she tried the same tactics there. Also, Robert quickly contacted me at work to inform me of what was going on which allowed me just enough time to contact the credit bureaus to put a freeze on my accounts. Because of the quick actions taken by the Newbury Park branch, I was able to block the new accounts the perpetrator was trying to open with our information. So, I give a HUGE thanks to US Bank, especially the Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks branches for protecting my family, literally! I have always found the staff at the Newbury Park branch to be knowledgeable, personable and very positive. In a time where other banks, I won't mention names, are becoming more automated and therefore less personal, I choose to keep my multiple accounts with this branch. Like the old T.V. show Cheers, it's nice to go somewhere where everyone knows your name.

Seems this location goes out of its way to make money on fees. Even though I rushed to put cash to cover a check and was still charged..... If they wanted I could get help but apparently I have reached my limit!! W/E..... Time to move to another bank I guess...

Bank teller Thomas is one of the rudest and most unprofessional banker I have ever met and banked with . Having multiple accounts with usbank and Wells Fargo I am not new to banking and there policy's . Being a young kid he thinks it s ok to talk down to customers . Great staff besides this child . Hopefully he will not be at this branch for much longer so I can continue to bank here . I will not go bank as long as he sits behind a desk here .

Rushed over to this location in aggravatingly clustered holiday traffic seeing the closing time was 3pm needing to get a deposit done (i know cutting it close). Arrived 20 minutes before closing only to have the location already closed down and locked up not an employee in sight. Really disappointing, a waste of gas and not another location close enough to get to in time.
