I brought my phone in the other day because it was acting funny. The screen went blotchy and the buttons stopped working. A woman named Karen told me it was irreversible water damage and that the phone was useless and wouldn't even count towards a trade in. She told me the buttons won't ever work again. So I bit the bullet and purchased a new phone. I didn't want to. I wasn't planning on it. But with what they told me, I figured what choice did I have? Fast forward to two days later (today) my old phone is completely fine again. Back to normal and working fine (not so "irreversibly damaged" and worthless I guess...) and they told me that even though I bought the new phone because of what THEY told me, that they would still charge me $75 to return the new phone. I asked to speak to a manager to see why I needed to pay $75 to return the phone when I only purchased the phone because they said my current phone was damaged beyond repair (which is clearly not the case). The manager went on about how it was my choice to buy the phone (@$$hole). Therefore, it's my opinion that they are scamming people into buying things they don't need and running a business without integrity. They played me.

This corporate location does a wonderful job and is entirely accommodating. Forget the franchise stores out here. Horrible. This place is great ?

This review is for Brandon. I came in the store this afternoon to return two leased phones and upgrade them. The store was really busy and i had to wait to be helped, totally understandable especially on a Saturday afternoon. I'd just like to compliment him on his attitude and ability to handle stress. He was able to help me get everything taken care of in a timely manner, answer all my questions and answer the phones and help customers on the phone all while maintaining a positive attitude. Thank you for all your help and hard work!

I would give the store negative reviews if you can, the store completely misled and lied to us. so before you walk away with what the store personnel sell as a great deal, ask them to print out the contract and read the fine print, otherwise you will end up paying hundreds of additional dollars. Service is horrible, sprint drops calls, and half the time you can't connect.

I would give negative stars if I could but Yelp makes you give at least one star. I went to the Thousand Oaks Sprint store back in November to switch carriers. After speaking with the sales rep I was absolutely promised that when I signed up II would not have any surprises on my bill. I was signing up 5 lines along with purchasing 4 new phones. I had explained to them that in the past, with another carrier, my bill was much larger than promised. I was assured that this would NOT be the case with Sprint. I received my first bill and it was approximately $150 more than what was promised. I called Sprint customer service and they told me that what I was promised is not accurate, that I was given misinformation. I explained I had a written contract from the store showing what I would be paying. They told me I would have to go back to the store to try and figure it out. I then went back to the store 3 times to try and figure out the problem. They avoided me and gave me the run around after they swore to me there would be no surprises. The last time I went there I waited for over 90 minutes for them to help me. The district manager was even in the back office but he couldn't take the time to come help me. They had given the manager a copy of my bill along with my contract and promised he would get back to me. It never happened. I am thoroughly disappointed with Sprint and the Thousand Oaks Store. PLEASE STAY AWAY from this Sprint store.
