“Was a great experience. The new location in the Thousand Oaks Mall is convenient. They were very courteous and professional. She assured me that I could go have lunch in the mall, and it would be ready afterwards, and it was. Also, they were patient and took good care of my 89 year-old father who needed extra attention. “I've visited this new store several times now, and it's clean, spacious and well-organized. The selection of boots is pretty amazing and about what you might expect from a store called: "Boot Barn." They also have a large inventory of both men and women's clothes, including jeans, shirts, jackets, belts, hats and a decent variety of work clothes. Despite the western theme, they also have work, hiking and casual boots, although they don't carry premier brands of hiking boots, like you'll find at REI. But for the casual hiker, they will definitely have what you need. One nice thing about the store is the central seating area, replete with a comfortable sofa and coffee table. It's nice for relatives and loved ones who go shopping with you, who probably don't want to tag along in the aisles. This store is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your best friend along too. However this store isn't perfect and it falls short in some ways. While there are some incredibly helpful, outgoing and courteous associates, such as Stacey and Sarah, many of the other associates appear to be disengaged, less-focused and even a little rude. I caught one middle manager scolding an employee in front of a customer, and another young female associate rolled her eyes behind a staff member's back. A lot of the staff are very young, and they may not have great people skills or maturity yet. Some good customer service training might be in-order for some of the younger employees. Also while temperature is often a subjective thing, this store is uncomfortably warm, during this Summer. Either the air conditioning isn't working properly or management has decided to save a few dollars at the expense of their customers. Walking around a big store while it's warm is no fun. Their selection of products is pretty good, but it's obvious that the store heavily promotes and stocks some brands, such as Wrangler over other brands, such as Levis. This is probably a corporate decision, which is out of their control, but it's nice for customers to easily see and shop for their own preferred brands. I can definitely recommend this Boot Barn location, and with a few simple improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars...”

“My Boys worn Vans since toddlers & have bought shoes, skateboards & accessories here since the store's Grand Opening . The Associates are always Wonderful ! Greatest selection of shoes, accessories & clothes inc. for babies ! Awesome selection of Skateboards , Completes & Decks , trunk , grip tape & tool accessories . Beautiful Oaks Mall Outdoor Location 2nd Level above a Pet Rescue Store . Note :First time I noticed a posted sign NO Skateboard , & sadly , No Pets entering inside Oaks Mall . I can't recall the other NO of the 3 prohibited .”

“Went in few days ago and met one of the most amazing sales associates I've ever seen. Her name was Kate I believe. I work at four seasons hotel and her service was even better than most employees there! I'm a guy so and she could tell I was confused and was patient and helped me the whole time.”

“Can be hard to get help and they don't care a huge selection but this is our go to for some of the brands we like. They carry more than the WLV location and returns are usually smooth. They carry kids sizes, mens, women's, shoes, etc and literally are ALWAYS running a sale. I grew up on this brand which is notorious for carrying the best skate, surf and streetwear brands”

“The store was overall pretty clean and easy to navigate through. There was a big selection of shoes in the store - various brands and types. The clearance section for shoes, organized by size, is located in the back area. There's a comparison of shoe prices on each tag that'll let you know how much DSW discounted the shoes for. Staff were nice for the most part, just seemed in a hurry and busy. There's also 2 gender neutral bathroom located towards the back of the store.”

“Very service-oriented, knowledgeable staff. They'll fit you in the proper shoe for your feet. While the shoes felt great, I got the feeling that the salesperson was guiding me toward the priciest shoe, which I later found for about half the price elsewhere. (And my physical therapist suggested that I wear a shoe with more cushion and not so much support.)”

“I love Nordstrom Rack, I went looking for shoes, so I had to stay focused. I'm not impressed with today's styles and didn't find anything I liked. I'm looking for the perfect red pump, and from the color to the style, it seems like an impossible task. They did have some unique styles and almost threw me off, but I am hyper focused to find the right red pump, 2" heel, with a strap in back. Where are you?”

“Went into WHBM yesterday looking for a few pieces to add to my fall wardrobe. There was an excellent selection of well made high quality items which made trying on clothes even more enjoyable.! Most importantly was the service. I was sorry to find my long time sales advisor, Golchin, was not in the store. However Lisa & Sharon stepped up and did an excellent job as the sales advisors who helped my friend and I. Lisa & Sharon were both well versed in their inventory and were happy to go look for sizes. Both ladies were professional and yet warm & friendly. They proactively made suggestions while not being overly familiar and not being pushy. I felt like they were genuinely happy we were in the store. WHBM The Oaks is my go to clothing store for work, weekend & vacation. The entire shopping was darn near perfect!”
