Had an 11:10 Friday appointment. Waiting room full and a few walk-ins waiting outside the office. No line to check in, checked in 15 mins ahead of time. Security guard was a sweetheart and very helpful. Went to the parking lot to wait, they texted me at exactly 11:10. Was seen the second I walked back inside. Phlebotomist Terri was very polite and knowledgeable. I had both a blood test and urinalysis, and it all took about 10-15 minutes. I have absolutely zero complaints at this point (I will update this review if there is an error sending my labs).Don’t let the bad reviews make you nervous if you already have an appointment. The reviews had me anxious going in and I could not be more pleasantly surprised. (By the way, if ANY place says they can do walk-ins, always assume that it doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed you’ll get a spot. There are only so many business hours in a day and if people show up for their appointments, you’re out of luck.)Just make an appointment; it’s super easy to do online and you can usually get an appointment for the day of!

Went last week for my 6yr old to be seen. It’s not an easy trip for us as she has a hard time with these procedures because she has special needs. She was crying and screaming while we were in the waiting room and as we walked to our room in the back. While we’re waiting in the room they can tell she’s not going to settle down and all of a sudden don’t have the correct paperwork to do the labs and we have to leave, print out the forms ourselves and come back. These POS staff members DID NOT want to help us. They turned us away with little sympathy and could care less for what my daughter has to go through. Now we have to torture her again and make another trip out to a different lab since the incompetent staff here did not want to do their job. After making a few calls, we were informed the location did indeed have all the paperwork and referrals to assist that day, they just did not want to work with my daughter. I admit, my daughter is not easy to work with but they showed no effort at all. I advice not to support this location and go elsewhere. Looking at other reviews here, this place should not be open or needs an entirely new staff. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to break our daughters heart again and put her through this experience one more time.

Worst lab ever!!! Poor customer service. Waiting room was empty- 3:30 and they told us they close at 4 so they refused to draw my sons labs. He is a cancer survivor and I am a nervous mom- they couldn’t care less! Ride as ride could be!

Went for a panel for my upcoming physical and was told by the check-in tablet that there was a 19 minute wait.. the lobby was full and people were overflowing into the hallway outside and sidewalk too.. it was pouring rain.. My appointment was at 10:45am.. I was there at 10:43. I waited for 35 mins and went in to check.. people were noticeably antsy and getting upset.. no one at the front - people said no one has been at the front AT ALL... the wait time kept going up and up and up... So I just left and and I still have not received my text to come in from the car almost 2 HOURS LATER. Idk what to say - maybe they were short staffed but leaving everyone in the lobby without a word of what's going on is a very poor way to run things. They should have come out and said something to the people waiting.

Experience really matters when it comes to this profession. I used this lab for many years. The is outstanding in every way, and I really like this particular lab.The lab tech today unfortunately was horrible, in ever way from the beginning to the end. Even the doctors where I want to have the report sent was not done correctly. How she covered the bleeding mark was terrible. In my view it's not about her skills as much as it is about attitude!

This past Saturday, I went online at QUEST DIAGNOSTICS to schedule an appointment for Lab Work. The website for QUEST THOUSAND OAKS OFFICE at 77 Rolling OaksDriveThere was an appointment available at 8:30am, so I chose that and started the registration process. I answered all of the questions, but unfortunately ….. the appointment was given to someone else while I was answering ALL OF THE QUESTIONS! No where did it say that you had to have an appointment. It did say that without an appointment, you might have to wait for availability! So I got in my car, and drove to the Lab, deciding that I’d wait and hope that something would be available!!! When I got to the Thousand Oaks location, there were 2 people in the waiting room, one seated, and one at the window. I registered at the kioskAnd took a seat. In a few minutes a woman came out of the back, called my name and yelled at me! Said very rudely that I didn’t have an appt and couldn’t be seen and told me TO LEAVE NOW!!!

Extremely rude and combative staff! I drove to the location for labs that my doctor ordered after fasting the night before. The website for this specific location indicated that there were no appointments available this morning, but that the wait time for walk-ins was less than 10 minutes (see screenshot). There was nobody at the desk, but I was able to sign in at the kiosk near the entrance without any issue. My name appeared on the main monitor indicating a 5 minute wait time. As I waited, they called other patients, and my wait time increased to 8 min. No problem. After about 30 minutes, I noticed that my name no longer appeared on the monitor. I waited a while as I saw other patients being called back for testing (still nobody at the desk). I was able to catch a staff member when they popped their head out to call another patient and mentioned my name had disappeared from the monitor. At that point he said it was removed because they don't allow Saturday walk-ins. At that point, two other patients waiting chimed in and were also extremely surprised. I said that they could have at least mentioned it when they deleted our names rather than wasting our time sitting in their waiting room. He became immediately agitated and said there were signs posted all over and that we should have known, and that he could show us where it is stated on their website. Before leaving, I walked around the waiting room and did see "no walk-ins" written on an 8.5x11" paper (along with other general info) posted near the far kiosk. Most people, however, used the kiosk near the entrance and would have never seen this. Their website also indicates that appointments are "encouraged" and lists the wait time for walk-ins. At a minimum, he should have told the people sitting in the waiting room when their names were deleted from the sign-in.

As long as you make an appointment you shouldn’t have any issues.

The place is clean, appointments are well organized, reminder text, then after you text you are there they text you to advise they are coming out to get you. I had to wait about 20 minutes even though I had an appt, but not a big deal, as soon as I got in, I was on my way in a few minutes. My gal was really nice and real good, I barely felt the needle.

Very disappointed by our experience this morning. Both the website and voice mail say walk ins are welcome. However, the phlebotomist would not help us, even though we came back twice and waited 20 minutes. I let her know that I would be placing a negative review. She said they only take appointments on Saturday but I told her that’s not true because the website and voicemail say walk ins are welcome. My husband doesn’t talk well because of his condition so I had to come back with him to get clarification, even though I just verified walk ins are welcome by the website and voicemail. Also we have been coming to quest for a long time and never had issues waiting a while if we were unable to get an appointment. We had to drive across the county to another location to be helped. We are in their waiting room now so hopefully we’ll have a better outcome.

I go to this Quest site at least once a year and nothing but praise for this facility. I always make the appointment for Saturday morning and am taken in quickly after being greeted by the very pleasant office staff. I am as pleased with today's visit as I am every single time.

Wish I read the reviews before going here. 1 hour for a 5 minute blood draw.Afternoon walk-in and there is only 3 people waiting. I check in at the tablet and select the option that I will wait outside. Says it will be about 10 minutes. 20 minutes later I get a text and immediately come back in. Stood around for a bit waiting for someone to greet me. I take a seat inside which is what I was trying to avoid and continue waiting.People continue checking in, are called and taken back. Must be because I am a walk in I think. I then over hear a nurse asking someone if they were me. I call out and am told they called for me. I selected the wait outside option how was I to hear that? If you have that feature how about you use it and wait the 10 seconds it took for me to walk back inside.I sit down again and they continue taking other people back. 40 minutes later they finally notice I am still waiting. Based on the other reviews here and at the other sites I didn't wait the longest but it is still frustrating to see nothing has been done about it. The feedback they are forwarding to their "leadership team" clearly is not helping.

Poor management. Checked-in 10 minutes before my appointment, 30 minutes after, still waiting. Good luck if you can get your turn within 30 minutes after your appointment.

Terribly unprofessional. After not being able to make an online appt, Went in Friday morning 8:45am with my child for CHLA *fasting bloodwork, Dr ordered. Waited until 11:15 in the car. Had to go, wait was unreasonable. FINALLY received a text @2:15pm to return. We returned @7:15am, prior to Saturday opening @7:30am to get this time restricted bloodwork..needed by Monday. Checked in at kiosk, said it was a 57 min wait, only to be refused service due to Saturday appointment only, no walk ins. Absolutely unprofessional after waiting hours the day before. Our name was called on 2 different occasions, only to have another worker interject & refuse us service as a walk in
