Most of the employees behave rudely, are obnoxious, and punctuality to them seems to be a lost concept.Also, if you speak with them, or complain about anything, they start speaking amongst themselves in their native language, which, when the customer does not speak or understand, is very unprofessional and impolite.0 stars.Service: Pedicure

Went this morning. Got turned away because the two employees there were busy with two customers and they were booked the entire morning and was told to make an appointment for anytime after 1 o clock. Clearly this salon is APPOINTMENT ONLY, and it should say that somewhere on their yelp page so pple can know and not waste their time and gas just like how I did.

OMG! Think twice before getting your nails done here. The tools used for my pedicure were not sterile. They said they were but Jackie got them straight out of here box mixed with other stuff, not out of a sterile package. The owner told me that next time I should go to Sally's and buy my own tools! Who does that?! Telling me that as if i didn't like the fact that their tools weren't clean and sterile to go buy my own!!! Unbelievable! This is their business and why that's why they have a license!! That's why they get paid!! I mentioned that I had a ingrown nail and she did absolutely nothing to help me. She did nothing I don't already do at home. I'm going to have to try to take care of it myself. When you go for a pedicure, it's for extra attention and pampering to your feet. Jackie's services were not only disappointing but bad. Then I got a new set of acrylics and for as long as they have been doing nails, you figure they could have done a way better job! All crooked and funky looking! $63 down the drain. Never going there again. Embarrassing but I have to wait for them to grow out a bit before getting them fixed.

I read prior reviews & started going to Yen for my nails. She's been fabulous at explaining all my options, including gels, acrylics, dips and the like. She is incredibly diligent and detail oriented during the application and fill process and has made a process, that I once frowned upon, quite delightful. Everyone there is friendly, and I appreciate the good energy.

Unfortunately the nail techs for my acrylic nails don't do a good job. I was very disappointed. The new owner of the salon tried to do my acrylic fill and did a horrible job. One nail needed length and reshaping and she missed it. The polish I had chosen was old and was applied very unevenly. It looked new for about two days before starting to chip. I Judy who does my spa pedicure. She is friendly and always asks about my daughter and mom who have come to her for their pedicures. She always does a five star pedicure. If I ever go back it will be for Judy's spa pedicures!

Very disappointed with the lack of professional skill associated with the technician that polished my nails. Nails are not the same shape and sharp edges. Just got tired of trying to communicate what I wanted. She even passed the file to me to file my own nails, by that time they were so short I couldn't do anything. The light pink color was applied uneven and the top coat applied uneven as well. Not even at cuticle line and sides of nails. They offered to refund my fee which I did not accept, they do deserve to be paid for their time. Will never go back to this shop, a definite waste of time and money.

I've been getting my nails done in Newbury Park for 20 years now and have visited all of the nail salons in the area and Q Nails has been the best. Yen and Jackie are always so great. My gel nails stay on longer then any other place I've ever been to, the massage chairs are great and everyone that works there is super nice.

I would give 0 star if I could. I wanted to try this place for the first time yesterday so I called to ask for pricing then a few hours later I went in to get my nails done. The lady came out and asked what I wanted to get done I explained what I need. She then told me that she is busy and can't take me. She said appointment only. On Yelp it says "walk-in welcome". I told her she should have mentioned that they only take appointment only if they don't want walk-in clients when I called earlier to ask for pricing. She argued with me and said I only asked for pricing. She is the one that work there how would I know they only take appointment only if she didn't mention it when I called? As a business you should always tell clients that only taking appointment now if they call especially for new client like me. She was rude I am glad I didn't give my money to this business. Go to other locations. People are rude there and apparently they don't want your business.

For many years, I wouldn't get a pedicure, because of the embarrassing condition of my toenails.I went with my wife and daughter to Q-Nails, and they were so friendly and understanding and warmly welcomed me to try a pedicure, without judgement. Long story short .. that was over 4 years ago, and I've been a happy and satisfied regular customer ever since! Not only have my toenails improved from my 1st visit, I've truly made great FRIENDS! Always greeted with smiles, laughter, and hugs!

My wife and I did a couple's mani/pedi (my first time ever) and we had a great time. They have reclining massage chairs that makes the experience even better. I personally don't have much to compare to with it being my first time, but my wife said it was great. Judy was so nice and attentive. I'd definitely come back here and OMG I've been missing out for too long on this kind of service!

I made an appointment for my daughter so they could get started with her nails before I picked her up. I drove there straight from work. I made an appointment for bio gel tips & pedicure and They did not do what I made the appointment for. When they were in the middle of doing her nails my daughter asked about the tips. The manicurist was rude to her then told her she didn't have time to do her nails. She didn't even begin to give her a pedicure. My daughter was in tears when I picked her up. Rude. Very rude & they didn't do what I made the appointment for.
