I had to go to a wedding recently and had some coupons with JCPenny. It's been over a decade since I've shopped there. It's not because of me. It's really because my wife is too bougie and self important to just shop at a good store. You need to revamp marketing beyond coupons, but not shock your own base. I'm really not here to review your company. I want to run it. This is no joke.

Black Friday ad had several coupon giveaways $10 off $10 etc these people had one short lady hiding behind clothes rack pretending to give out these coupons supposedly the main entrance of the mall. If it's something nationwide why aren't they proactively handing out these coupons. Should have welcomed us into the store with the coupon instead of asking for them. This lady also was handing out these coupons to the Hispanics as if they were related to her. There are disabled citizens out there and you're ass expects them to walk around looking for a woman trying to hide. Ridiculous behavior not friendly or showed holiday spirit.

Huzama at the Oaks Mall, men's department, was extremely helpful, very kind, and knew exactly what sizes, etc. were needed. I WILL definitely always request Huzama to help us!!!

Beyond all of both of still thanks a whole lot and/or why even bother. With my speech/learning impairment that I was born along with depression/anxiety as well. Whatsoever has happened to beyond all of both of ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) should also require mental one/s as well. I mean for beyond all of both of others and/or me could actually be included instead of not as well. I mean was only in there to get some underwear when I saw some areas blocked off. And asked about it more then anything else.

Came here hoping to find a new set of towels. This JC penny is just ok and no different from an average department store in my mind. No service crew working in the home section. The products are disorganized like major clearance section. It was rather disappointing.

Went to the salon inside JCPenney for a wash and blow dry. I called ahead of time they said $32 and they had a African-American stylist to do my hair. Upon arrival my stylist wasn't African-American and also totally up charged me $80 and said my hair was more "complex" because I have tight curls n short hair. I would not recommend this place at all as a African-American women. I only paid it because I was in a rush.

First time at this store. Returning items I purchased online. Entry led right to a customer service desk. Friendly associate gave me precise directions to return department. Short wait at return department. Quick no hassle friendly service. On the way out stopped to look at jewelry. Found an amazing ring. Would have purchased it not for the process of having to send the ring out for sizing. The wait for the return of the ring (up to six weeks). The possibilities of issues with the work upon return of the ring. Being stuck with those issues just didn't work for me. That's a risk on a ring that was not cheap that doesn't work for me. In addition, I'm not a fan of paying a higher price than customers who have a jcp credit card. Just not right. A customer is a customer. This is not customer service.

The customer service at the JcPenny is beyond. My friend and I first stopped it at the JcPenny Beauty space which used to be Sephora. I guessed they've broken up their partnership but no worries. I was looking for the setting spray and so corrector but a less expensive brand. The associate was nice and recommended a few. I made my purchase and she invited me back for their grand opening in a few days. We then hit up the shoe department and noticed there were some sells. Went up to the register and asked if there were any coupons and the gentleman that was ringing me up said No. The cashier right next to him said they did have a 35% off coupon and stated I could go online to obtain it. Boom.. I got the $75 boots for 25 bucks after it being on sale and an additional 35% off. What great customer service. This JcPenny is clean. My only criticism is that they don't have enough checking out stations as they used to. I'm an old soul and I still like to shop in person, get my steps, interact with others but dislike super long lines. The line was pretty long, we walked around, came back and there were only 2 people in line. JCPenney is one of my favorite stores! My mom, Abuelita (grandma) and I spent many weekends shopping here. They used have even better deals but I still think you can still get great clothes for a reasonable price!
