Let’s see Sandra is the worst. She yelled STOP at me today for work she did not complete. I called in multiple times to the front desk within the last 2 weeks. I wonder why no one gave her the message. Now the IRS I calling me for forms she did not do. Why the hell do you have that job! She should be fired. This is a time sensitive job and it’s about dealings. Learn to do your job!
She is horrible to work with. They never call you back! Don’t do there!

Up until this yr I have never had a problem with receiving my IRS refund. This yr H&R Block has really disappointed me. I have gotten the run around about my return. All I have heard is sign here call there but no one can tell me where my refund is. I don’t think I’ll ever go to another H&R Block ever again. This experience has been horrible ??

Big thank you to Wassim at this H&R Block location. Just filed taxes with them and we’re in an out within an hour. Such an easy process and the cost is very reasonable. He is a great person to work with.

Total useless. Got our taxes done from Sergio and paid over $400!! Process was quick, maybe too quick since the actual refund was exactly $1000 less than he calculated! He calculated the CA income paid wrong ( I could have calculated that without program better). When I called the office to find out where the mistake was, I just got told that Sergio will be back next year and why I don't call IRS instead??? Very rude female office lady whom obviously has zero customer service! Don't waste your money - go elsewhere.

This place overcharges and overbooks. A simple tax return cost almost $500 and the preparer was so rushed that she misspelled my last name and my dependent's last name. She also got my dependent's social security number wrong and because the return wasn't accepted, she asked me to wait 10 minutes because the next appointment came. I will not be returning.

She rescheduled us twice -- once on Valentines Day. She should have asked us to come prepared with specific information. We had to phone a family member and dig out documents while on the phone. Very stressful. I'm sorry my tax preparer was overworked and earning a boat load of money.

i don't recommend it just go to camarillo branch or oxnard they explain your tax return properly. the reason we are making an appointment and consulting someone from the office is because we are seeking a professional help but at some point we were disappointed we filed our tax we asked the agent how much is the return and on her monitor using the paper that she was holding she pointed on a amount worth 7000+ so we were surprise cause its our first time filling as joint so me and my husband did not check the papers already cause we believe her after a month we were wandering why we still did not received that amount i called her cant understand her explanation cant hear her properly on the phone so she ask if we can go to the office so my husband did and to out surprise out tax return was not 7000+ its very disappointing to be honest giving wrong informations to your clients. so my husband and i decided not to fill here will just go to a different branch.

had a confirmed 9am appointment at H and R Block Thousand Oaks Ca. I showed at the office at 0855, as of 0910 no one came to the office to open the door. I called the office phone number and was redirected to a representative for H and R Block who didn't seem to think that having an office that doesn't open for appointments was anything to be concerned about. My appointment was to be with Joseph Archer, never received a call from him. Calls to the office got me redirected as an answering machine stated no one at Thousand Oaks could take my call. The office has some red flags and frankly there are other tax professionals to go to, there is nothing "professional" about this office. Go elsewhere with your important tax information.

Joseph Archer was the agent helping with me and he was able to process my taxes for the maximum possible return. I feel that I would have attempted to do my own taxes, my return would be considerably less!
