Avoid this branch if you can. It's understaffed and the cashiers are unpleasant and not happy working there. I needed pull ups, lights, and toiletries and spent nearly a half hour waiting in line without assistance with a toddler. A female cashier who could not stand physically upright seemed encumbered by working there and has a nasty attitude. Can't blame her if employees aren't tested well and forced to stand while experiencing physical maladies. Depressing place.

Update: CVS contacted me today and asked about my experience in the store. I was impressed with the response. They took time to listen and let me know that they would address the situation. --------------------------------- The pharmacy has always been great. This review is for the store. Pros: Store is clean and well organized, product selection is good, location is great next to trader joe's. Cons: The store manager was so cruel to me. I was embarrassed and upset. It was a terrible experience and I don't ever want to go to that store again. I called the number that CVS had listed at the store to complain and it is a black hole. I was disconnected twice after holding for 20 minutes and then finally got someone who opened a case but then I never heard back.

I was surprised to learn the CVS at 123 Reino Road, does NOT price match their own online products advertised on the CVS website. The female cashier seemed annoyed that I asked why not, and snapped back with, "because, we don't do that"! Stunned, I then said, "so if I wanted to save the .50 cents that you aren't willing to price match, I could order this $3.89 (store-priced) item online, save the .50 cents that way, then pay $3 for shipping, receive it in 6-7 days standard shipping, and get the discount that way"? Her reply (with attitude) was... "If you want". Saving .50 cents is irrelevant. I could care less. The fact that practically every big box store in America will price match products advertised on their OWN website (and/or a competitor's website), especially considering all that has happened in our world over the last few years, but CVS will NOT, exposes this company as greedy, petty and lazy. Shame on you, CVS. You have lost my business. And by the way, your female cashier needs immediate customer service training. Goodbye, Long time CVS customer, now shopping elsewhere.

NO STARS! The customer service is non existent at this location. The manager is snarky, and completely rude. Workers can be observed goofing around on the phones or with eachother. Two employees were in one restroom making lewd noises for a few minutes when it was brought to the managers attention she disregarded the concern stating it's an employee restroom you shouldn't concern yourself with what they choose to do in their restroom. The staff at this Newbury Park location needs retraining or to be fired! Poor representation of CVS.

This CVS is not well run. The manager has an attitude and simply does not have the ability to handle customer concerns. She started out with attitude before I could explain my concerns. The pharmacy is worse. The tech Tammy rolls her eyes, makes snide remarks, looks miserable and speaks passive aggressively behind customers backs (I've witnessed it). I will not be returning to this CVS ever again.

Shout out to Dolly who helped me and my daughter so much today. We were desperately seeking a pharmacy that had the brand that my daughter could use (heart and kidney issues). This was the only pharmacy within 75 miles from us. She took my call and was incredibly patient with me. Called back an hour later to give me more hope and finally greeted us at the pharmacy with a loving pat on my shoulder. She just knew how stressed I was. So grateful! (daughter now completely stable. thank you!)

Updating review to reflect current practices of this Pharmacy. The current management of the Pharmacy will put your prescriptions on auto-refill even when you very specifically tell them not to. Then, it screws up your timing for the Mail Order because it shows your prescription was just filled. Complicating matters is that my insurance plan only covers two fills per medication (regardless of dose changes) so then it creates another problem with prescription co-pays. Additionally, they will leave you messages saying"Please call, we have a concern." Then you call and they ask if you want refills!!!! This is an unethical practice. I've told them repeatedly not to call me for things like this, but they still call! STOP THIS REFILL SCHEME/SCAM!

I really love Spencer the pharmacist here. I used to go to the other CVS on Reino because it's nicer inside and a better parking lot. However, I really like the pharmacist at this location so I switched. They recently changed the interior a bit and it's better. The parking lot is still horrific if you go during a busy time because there's a lot of other places in this small shopping center. Spencer always helps me with new medications and is always very friendly when I pick up or drop off. I also have had nothing but pleasant interactions with the other pharmacy staff.

Staff today seemed absent minded, telling me this is the S Rhino location which it is not. I was obviously in pain but staff had a stern face and made me wait inline twice only to find out the special order from the doctor was stuck in system and I should have gone to another Cvs. Compared to the staff in Trader Joe's which is next door, this place feels insensitive and pays little attention to customers.

I have been going to the CVS pharmacy for the last 10 years. Always had pretty exceptional customer service and knowledgeable employees. Tonight was a different story, I went into the store looking to purchase a few items and when I came about a price match from the local target for a few dollars cheaper Steve the manager decided it was a good idea to challenge me and embarrassed me in front of other customers because I was trying to price match. Now this might be a new thing for CVS but I've been price matching with them for a long time. Maybe he was just doing his job and I totally understand that but the way that he came about it was completely unprofessional. Long story short I am now going to take my business elsewhere even though it was right around the block for me to CVS. Regards Long time customer

I've only gone here for a quick pick up in terms of toothpaste or medicine. I'm not a regular, but the times I had been there the staff was nice. At least, up until my last visit. My parents were out of toothpaste and since they work really late during weekdays they asked if I could pick some up for them. I went in and got the two tubes of toothpaste and then went to check out. The man behind the counter asked me if I had a CVS card, I said no and when he asked if I wanted one I politely said "no, thank you." He asked me if the toothpastes were on sale and even though I found this weird I told him that I did see a two for one price on this particular brand. Really sarcastically and condescending, "Well, that price is ONLY for CVS cardholders. If you want that price you need to get a CVS card." Kind of shocked by his attitude, I told him I didn't want a CVS card and that I was fine paying the normal price. He kept bugging me about getting a CVS card and finally I had to tell him sternly, "I never shop here, I maybe come in here once a year, I don't need one." He backed off about the card but quickly asked me in an angry tone, "Where do you live?" What the heck? Why on earth does he need to know that? Very rude. I have not gone back since that happened, if I need anything now I just go to the regular grocery store to get it.
