Terrible Experience!!!I have had a recent experience of dealing with these guys. I went there to buy a BMW 6 series. A pre-owned car caught my eyes but the salesperson (named Amir) refused to reduce 16 cents, you read that right 16 effing cents. My worst ever experience so far with the dealerships I ever dealt with. Generally they are very cool.I don't recommend these guys at all. Find someone else (closest is Stevens Creek Toyota) if you don't want to ruin your day.

This is the place to buy your car if you want to work with friendly professional associates! Went in with my eye on a particular vehicle & was fortunate to have Evin Carias help me through the buying process. He was genuine, patient and super helpful explaining all the paperwork I was signing. Never did he give "shady salesman" vibes. He truly values his clients and makes sure they walk out of the door happy!

I recently had an experience with Sunnyvale Toyota that I feel compelled to share. My interest was piqued by an advertisement on Car Guru and their site for a Prius listed at $29,000, a competitive price that seemed like a great deal. Motivated by this attractive offer, I contacted the dealership for more information, expecting a straightforward purchase process. However, my experience took an unexpected turn. Upon inquiry, I was informed that the advertised Prius at $29,000 had already been sold. While I understand that vehicles can sell quickly, what followed was disappointing. Instead of offering similar alternatives or apologies for the inconvenience, the dealership immediately attempted to redirect my interest towards a more expensive Prius model priced at $34,000.This switch in their approach left me feeling misled. The significant price difference and the immediate upselling attempt gave me the impression of a bait-and-switch tactic, which I find quite disheartening in a business practice. It raises questions about the transparency and honesty of their advertising methods. In summary, while I cannot speak for everyone's experience at Sunnyvale Toyota, my encounter raises concerns about their advertising and sales tactics. I would advise potential customers to be cautious and confirm vehicle availability and pricing before visiting. This experience has certainly influenced my perspective on the dealership and has made me more cautious about future interactions with them.

Visited today around noon with my wife and daughter shopping around for a new SUV, thinking about trading in ours for a new one. From the get go, the sales rep that was hanging out on the lot was apathetic, unmotivated and with no sense of warmth or effort to connect with us. She left us out in the lot for over half an hour "while the car we were trying to see came back from a test drive", then proceeded to only show us used cars, and abandoned us while we were asking her questions for a different group that arrived while she was "helping" us. I believe her name was Amanda. She essentially handed us over to a different man named King, who was a bit nicer, but still no effort whatsoever. He appraised our vehicle quite low, but understandably so to a certain extent since our car is a bit damaged on the exterior.Overall, although they claim to have MSRP or lower prices, the experience was quite disappointing and unpleasant. We will most likely shop somewhere else for our new vehicle.

It is very disheartening to feel like you can't trust a major dealership. Against my better judgment, I submitted a application for financing to Toyota Bank... as suggested by Amir. This has all taken place today.Toyota Bank denied my application with zero dollars down... Which is totally fine, the issue is what happened after that. Amir and whoever he's working with to get this deal done submitted my application to other banks... I never approved that decision. I never wanted that to be done. Since I was getting emails from Experian about the additional credit inquiries, I called Amir and asked him to stop screening my credit. The calls kept breaking up so I texted him as well. I was told that it's only one pull and it's not an issue. Since I didn't get approved by Toyota they got approval from Ally, so on and so on... this was a decision that they made to try and finalize a deal so that they could sell a car...Mind you I have a preapproval from Golden 1, I was merely comparing rates and trying to find a better option than what Golden 1 presented to me. I thought Toyota Bank could be a reputable option. I don't want to have my credit pulled countless times... And I made this very clear. In fact, the question that I asked a mirror to start this whole thing was if he had any lenders he could suggest... I called back and was really frustrated and wanted to speak with a manager because I didn't feel that my concerns were being taken seriously. I felt like the issue was being pushed aside, and the sale of the car was being shoved down my throat. Whenever I call back I keep end up speaking to Amir so I asked him to speak to a manager. The call is disconnected after I'm on hold and then he calls back and takes his phone to the manager Kevin. The moment Kevin gets on the phone he just starts talking nonstop not even listening to my concern. Needless to say I won't do business here even though they have the car that I want. I don't even feel like my file is safe there because of how they seem to do business.I understand the eagerness to sell their product, but it's important to address the customer's concerns before pushing your agenda. I don't feel confident shopping with this dealership. They sent my application to: Wells Fargo, Toyota, 700 Credit, Ally, and BofA.... but according to them, it's only 1 inquiry.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the extensive delay in repairing my truck, which was purchased from your dealership on September 6, 2022 and is still well within its warranty. The timeline of events is as follows:1. On September 28, 2023, I had to arrange for my truck to be towed to your dealership due to a critical malfunction.2. On October 1, 2023, I was informed that both the engine and transmission required replacement.Regrettably, despite my persistent efforts to obtain updates regarding the progress of the repair, I have not been provided with a clear estimate for the completion of the repairs. Furthermore, my request for a loaner vehicle, which I made in recognition of my deep reliance on the truck for my livelihood, was unjustly denied. This situation has resulted in a considerable loss of productivity and income, having a severe impact on my ability to make a living.I am compelled to request adequate compensation to address the protracted repair time, the absence of effective communication, and the refusal of a loaner vehicle. I sincerely hope for a swift response and a cooperative effort to reach a satisfactory resolution on this matter.Sincerely,Miguel Arcos

I honestly regret purchasing my car here. They don't charge dealer markup- that's the only reason I purchased a car here.We needed 2 additional cars, 1 used and one new, and the sales department is absolute rubbish. To start, the sales rep that sold me my car stated he would help with the other two we need. And then ghosted us. I don't know how I got lucky with my car and having a good experience. We then reached out to a different representative, who agreed to help, but never followed up on any cars. For the new car we needed, he stated he placed us on an expedited list that would ensure a car within 6 months of May 2022. Never returned any calls or texts. I visit in person and am told when we have a car we will contact you. I ask about used veichle that we were looking into, and they aren't there anymore (sold, moved, etc, no communication). I then communicate this with the service department via a review and get connected with another representative who informs me I wasn't even on the priority list (this is June 2023). After speaking with management they try to get us on a list for 6 months from June as opposed to 8-12 months from June 2023 when we originally inquired about this from May 2022! And now there's no communication or follow up. I visit in person and the sales department is rude.We ended up purchasing a used car elsewhere and honestly may just pay the markup and purchase the new veichle at another dealership as well. This is absolutely ridiculous.

It is my 5th experience when I come to US in 25 yrs. My previous car is old enough and I would like to update my daily commute car. I and my wife came here Toyota sunnyvale since they build good reputation in Bay Area, (yes, they are NO MARK UP) Ahmad is helping me to find the best car, we need and I eventually pick Toyota Crown XLE. I don't need leather seat, but no sun roof with lighter color, but my wife prefer ..... He is not only patiently listening our voice, he also quite knowledgeable. Moreover, he doesn't spend long hour to push all extra insurance, which I do not need. He is professional, knowledgeable and prompt and he doesn't waste our precious time. I only spend 2hrs including testing drive. If you are serious buyer who looking for no markup. But required professional sales, then I would like to recommend Ahmad in Toyota Sunnyvale.Thank you

Purchased a new 2023 RAV4 Prime from Hasib almost a month ago. I've been to many car dealerships & hands down this was my best experience yet. To begin the facility itself is well organized with lots of seats & a lobby for those working or waiting for your car to be serviced.I was working with Hasib for majority of my contact with the dealership. Easy to schedule a date & time to look at the inventory or answered any questions I had prior to my visit. The day of the purchase went as expected but when it came to break down the numbers, I wasn't pressured to do anything I wasn't sure of or if any concerns were addressed immediately. Hasib was well knowledgeable of the car & helpful after the purchase if I had any questions via text/phone call. 10/10 would recommend this place as management wasn't sketchy at all & made the transition of trading in my vehicle with no issues. Personally, I would recommend family & friends to this place & Hasib as the agent if they're looking into purchasing a vehicle.

Purchased a new 2023 Toyota Corolla here and it was a fantastic experience. I was able to start the financing process on their website and communicated with several people (Derek, Dino, and Kevin) throughout the process and everyone was very responsive and helpful. Derek helped us when we showed up to pick up the car and he already had all our info and paperwork ready to go. He showed us the car and was knowledgeable about all the features. Really a great experience at Toyota Sunnyvale without the typical heavy sales pressure and insane dealer markups.

Works about as well as any toyota parts center, but their phone system constantly disconnects. They're high enough volume that you can expect a lonnnnng hold time, and you will almost certainly have to call back multiple times since it seems many of their held calls are disconnected.

Ben Sherman was so helpful with the purchase of my brand new Camry SE 2023. He was transparent with me the whole time, assisted in choosing best vehicle for me and with my needs. Not an aggressive salesman at all, he was patient and didn't push me to get things I didn't need. He understood me and worked with me to get the best deals. Definitely recommend Toyota Sunnyvale and Ben Sherman is the person to go to.

Ive never had an overall poor experience working with Toyota Sunnyvale. All of my interactions have been great. If they believe they've fallen short of expectations, they go the extra mile to ensure the experience turns positive. Even if it wasn't their fault, Toyota Sunnyvale puts in extra effort to ensure the interaction is positive. A good example of this was I had taken my car in for servicing but the toyotacare package expired a month ago. Even though Toyota declined to cover the cost, Toyota Sunnyvale serviced the car at no cost as if the toyotacare package hadn't expired. Thank you!!

Andre and Jorge were great! Really friendly, patient, and no pressure. Getting a car at MSRP is so rare these days, and they don't play any games. Glad to have worked with these guys and would easily recommend them to family and friends.
