Came in for an oil change and check engine light. Person at the front checked the OBD codes and they were related to the oil sensor, so turned out we didn't need to do anything after changing the oil, which apparently had completely ran out. They were nice enough to also check for oil leaks for me when requested. He also noticed my front brake rotors were worn down thanks to not having noticed my brake pads were run down, and they were able to replace them both same day. Generally very responsive to my concerns and even followed up with a text message later. Tips: come early in the morning to avoid a long wait, and (if you know what you're doing and what needs to be replaced) bring the replacement parts with you (very expensive and takes a while longer for them to source the parts for you. only reason this isn't a 5 stars) as they seemed more than happy to accommodate people who came in with their own parts.

This is my first time to this store. Reserve on-line to have oil change. Appointment is easy and fast. Got email back to confirm my appointment. Got there early and manager-Mr. Israr Refai wrote up the order and got me in and out within 1/2 hr. His service and oil technician provided excellent friendly service. I highly recommend his Midas shop and you will not be disappointed with their service. They have the Midas touch on service and know how to treat all their customers! Over all I am extremely satisfied with this shop. Give them a try!

Came to this Midas and received exceptional service and hospitality from the men that works here. Israr the manager he was super friendly and informative about my car. The other gentleman that fixed my car was also extremely friendly and helpful. Overall my experience was an easy 5 star! Definitely will be coming back here!

Thorough and professional I made an appointment to have the muffler checked/replaced on my 21 year old Honda Civic. I found the work done to be complete and thorough. The servicemen were careful and meticulous and were not afraid to show me how they were installing the new muffler so that I could see it was well installed and perfectly lined up with my exhaust system. The owner/manager was clear and up front with the costs snd charges so there were no surprises. In and out in about an hour.

I took my car in for a simple oil change. Within 10 minutes I got a call back saying the service to my vehicle was completed. I was a bit surprised, as my oil changes in the past at other auto centers took at least 20 to 30 minutes to complete, even without any other customers ahead of me. When I came to pick up my car, I noticed the car seemed to be parked in the exact way I left it. It appeared unmoved. A few days later, I was told by neighbor who also had his car repaired (brakes) here that when he took it to another center after repeated issues with the brakes, he was told that it appeared no repairs were were previously done. Upon discovering this he demanded his money back and Midas Sunnyvale refunded him. My neighbor indicated to me he was actually thinking of calling the District Attorney for fraud. My recommendation for anyone taking their car into this Midas center in Sunnyvale is to make sure by checking your vehicle that the work they promised was done or contact the local authorities or district attorney. Auto centers like this should NOT be allowed to operate in this fraudulent manner.

Took my car in for an oil change the advertisement said $79 dollars walked out and the bill was $112. Then they broke my automatic trunk opener. I 100% opened my trunk with the button when I got to Midas and when I picked it up it wasn't working. They refused to look at it or fix it and tried to blame me for it. Horrible, horrible, service. Way to expensive oil changed turned into a $500 mechanical issue. Do Not take your car here! Should have known better, they rarely have cars there, most places are super busy.

Omg, Really good services all the time. Since my Repaired its fantastic services .The manager Israr Refai is really Brilliant personality I am totally speechless he is all the time fabulous. If Anyone need to any kind of Auto cares need to visit once at Midas Sunnyvale. Best wishes for all future endeavors

I took my 2006 Cadillac to Midas on April 23rd for 3 problems Brake noise Occasional car stalling and check engine light on I left it there and came back and talked to Vic who is the main mechanic he told me I needed front brakes and that would fix the brake noise he said I needed O2 sensors and that would fix the stalling problem and maybe fix the check engine light Vic said it could be something else causing the light to be on so he tokd me we will try one at à time I picked up the car the next day and paid $1.151.03 probably 10 days latter the brake noise came back and the car started stalling AGAIN and the following, week the engine light came back on so I took the car back in on a Thursday 2 weeks latter and told Vic what was going on he asked me if I got it smoged because he had said drive it 200 miles and get it smoged I told him I had not because I was waiting for a pay check he said he asked me how many miles have I driven since the car was worked on I mistakenly told him 800 miles Vic said tou were suppossed to take it in after 200 miles hen I checked the odometer again latter it was 400 miles I guess I was wrong in thinking after spending over à thousand dollars that the problem was fixed I didn't think it was a 200 mile fix. So Vic reset the engine light and tokd me drive 200 miles and take it in and ask the guy at thé smog place to check the monitors to see if they are ready for smog check after 200 miles of driving I drive away and after 40 MILES of driving rhe Check engine is ON AGAIN. Bottom line after spending over à thousand dollars I STILL have the same 3 problems. Espically the brake problem and stalling problem after Vic told me these repairs will fix these 2 problems. Don't take your car to this Midas for your car repairs they either lied to me or they don't know how to diagnoisis à car problem.

I would have rated this higher as they seem to be nice when you get your oil change however, we had our oil changed last fall. Our car wasn't used due to some out of town travel. When we had the car checked out at the dealership for some minor recall work we were told that the panel under the engine had been removed and never replaced. At that point we were told that a lot of the quick oil change places remove these and do not put them back on. Makes it easier if you are a regular customer. I called around and found out that indeed this is something that a lot of places do. At this point I contacted the Sunnyvale Midas that does our oil changes. The man that answered said they had a bunch of the part from automobiles there and ours was probably there as well. Drove all the way there only to find out it was not, but indeed he was right, they had a bunch of other cars. Contacted the location again to see about them replacing it and they never called back. At this point I contacted corporate customer service and was told to wait 3 business days and the owner would be in touch. Nope he sure wasn't. Called corporate again and was told the district manager would call in 5-7 business days. Nope, makes me think that none of these people care how they treat their customers or their cars. Had to pay $300 to have the part put back on the car. STAY AWAY FROM MIDAS. They don't care, and leaving this cover off the bottom of the engine is standard practice. While the part isn't extremely important, it does protect debris and dust from the engine and transmission. How this company is still in business is shocking. For $10 more a dealership will change your oil and they won't leave the parts off. Lesson learned. *****updated. Surprisingly received a call from the district manager what wasn't surprising, was that after I said hello all I could hear was him dropping "f-bombs" while speaking to somebody at the Sunnyvale location. Customer service 101 dude.....Maybe lay off the swearing when you call somebody at their home. A child could have answered the phone instead of the person you were trying to reach. To be honest I'm not even convinced he was the district manager, why would somebody in charge talk like that when they're waiting for a customer to pick up.

I've been coming here over the years and I love it! Israr is great and very customer-oriented. I come here for oil changes usually but a few times have also had my air filter replaced, flat tire patched, and AC system replaced. Next year I'll probably need to replace my brake pads and rotors, and I'm definitely going to come here for those. Regardless of which service, it's done quickly and with quality. Reasonable prices, fast service, and good customer service is what can be expected here!! The mechanics are happy to point out certain issues as well in case you would like to confirm a problem or learn more about it. They know their stuff! Cheers!
