Since Jaclyn never filled my request of filling the washer fluid for me (that I already paid for), I decided to stop by the address published on all of their platforms (website, Yelp, Google, etc.) to have it done. I even texted Jaclyn beforehand that I was coming by that location which she never replied. To my surprise, it's just an empty building, their business was nowhere to be found. I was told by the business owner next door that it's been unoccupied for at least over a year. I don't know what to say at this point. I feel like this is a new level of dishonesty that I obviously did not expect to meet. I leaned my lesson the hard way. Don't make the same mistake. Avoid this business at all cost.

They offer free pick up and drop off due to Covid which is convenient. They did an amazing job finding what the real issue was with my Mercedes. Recommend!!

I have had the pleasure of these guys as my mechanic for years. They are fair, fast, reliable and never perform unneeded work. I highly recommend them for all your car needs.

They couldn't even sort out scheduling arrangements,. I made a mid afternoon appointment then I was told they need to reschedule me an hour later and after that I was texted again that they were fully booked for the rest of the day. I'm fairly patient so I agreed to reschedule next day for an 11am, come 11:45am no follow up call, so I called them to check the status of my vehicle pick up, the lady replied " I ran out of gas". And please train your receptionist how to answer a business call with other than"Hello?"

They said they'd order a part for repairing my car and we set an appointment for the repair. The day of the repair came, I show up, but noone knows about the part. Later I found out that the part was never ordered (interestingly, while I could find the same part online in 3 minutes). The bigger problem is that they never called to say "we didn't bother to order your part" or that "please don't come in for your appointment", rather they claimed that they called and "probably left a message" (quote). Well, they did not. I walked right over to Rick Marchetti's service and received proper service. European Car Repair guys, you should walk over to and learn from Marchetti's.

The 2 stars are only because they honored a warranty on a service they had done and re did when the issue surfaced again (because clearly they didn't fix it the first time). And because they sent a tow truck to tow my car to the garage when it could not be driven. Their service and quality of engineers is super poor otherwise. I have been there 3 times over the past 4 years and their service has gone from bad to worse. The first time I went to them for a headlight issue on my BMW 328i that gone out, they diagnosed it as a bad bulb and charged me for a replacement. It stopped working within a month and I had to get it done elsewhere! Second time, I had a very exotic engine issue which granted was hard to diagnose but they wrongly diagnosed it instead of agreeing that it is tricky to diagnose. Within a week it stopped working again and I went to dealership who fixed it for me and then ECR just gave me refund for parts and not labor. Also, during that time they recommended another repair for my oil filter housing gasket which I agreed to and within 1.5 year the dealership found that issue again and I had to go back to ECR (third time, since it was under warranty) to get this repair done again. They honored the warranty and claimed to have done the repair however when I asked for a memo for the repair I never received one. I have an email thread with the owner (Jaclyn) where I have sent her over 8 emails asking and reminding for a memo for the repair but that has bore no fruit. I'm never going there again come what may. If you have a BMW the SF/Stevens Creek dealerships are sooo much better!

I've been going to Jaclyn at European Car Repair for years. She's a great business owner. She's prompt and returns calls in a timely fashion. What appeals to me most about Jaclyn and her shop is her time management skills. Many shops give you an estimated time or day for the vehicle to be ready and are unable to meet those deadline. My vehicle has always been ready as discussed during my estimate. The mechanic was very thorough in explaining and showing me what services my car needed. I appreciate that he inspected the entire vehicle so I was aware of any other issues. Very trustworthy mechanic whose been with the shop for many years . Jaclyn understands that customers struggle with being able to get around when their vehicle is in the shop. She provides loaner cars at no extra charge. This to me is great customer service !! As a token of appreciation, she also gives a bottle of champagne. Shop has relocated to 1026 Evelyn Ave. Unit A Sunnyvale. Thank you Jaclyn I appreciate your business and thank you Jorge for your customer service.

I've been bringing my car here for years now. I've recommended this place to my family and close friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to fix their European car for a great price with a short amount of time. They take their time explaining the work that was done on the vehicle. They also recommend what to look for in the future to maintain the car at a good condition. Jaclyn is so helpful and makes you feel like family.

Best place to get your car done. Reasonable, fair and honest prices. Fantastic customer service- I was offered a loaner, uber or shuttle home and back. I had oil change, brake fluid flush, cabin filter changed, fixed the weird parking lamp warning, and a 30 point inspection (courtesy). All for about half the price of the dealer service. Yes this shop was recommended by a auto dealer as a great place to get my car maintenance and repair done. No surprises at all, everything was in black and white. The final invoice was less than the estimate I was emailed. Awesome!!!!

I came here right after I moved to Sunnyvale in September because I needed a new alternator. I'm not a savvy car person, but I do my research and rely on my boyfriend (obsessed with all things cars) and my dad to help me through any confusion. When I realized I needed a new alternator, I had to act fast. I didn't really have a lot of time to shop around and I always take my BMW to a shop that specializes in BMW/Mercedes, etc. They quoted me about $250 for the parts alone, not bad, but I was expecting something a little lower - whatever. Then the full bill comes out to over $700. Um, what? Almost $500 for labor?? I didn't really know how to argue the price since they had already done everything, but when I told a few coworkers about it they explained how much of a ripoff it was considering it takes maybe an hour to replace an alternator. Jaclyn was very nice and I wanted to trust her because she's a woman. Because I am a young woman, I know I tend to get taken advantage of when it comes to fixing my car so I usually have my bf do it, I was hoping this would be a little different. I know I'm partly at fault for not doing thorough enough research, but I was pressed for time and new to the area. I will never return to this place again. What a ripoff.
