When I travel for work all I need is a quiet and clean place to rest. Comfort Inn Sunnyvale is such a place. It’s conveniently located right at the exits of ramp. There are many room, but at night they are eerily quiet which is perfect for rest and sleep.Tip: there are no restaurants within walking distance. Uber Eats is your friend.

Premal Parikh and Isabelle complained about my sons taking food upstairs. After watching 5 people go upstairs with food. My sons and I felt marginalized by they’re actions and Hate has many faces and this is one of them. Isabelle is here watching us and not watching other members I believe that’s wrong. Premal who also identifies as Chris should not be the manager. And I await retaliation from this hotel. We are here for 28 days. It’s nasty and the maids are retaliatory.

A bit dated and there were people smoking in the corridor, and the room didn't smell great but it was clean. It's a good location and low price.

Excellence location, lower price compared to neighboring hotels, super friendly staffs.I stayed here for a long time and feel most of the staffs here are really friendly and very helpful even some of them don't know know much English. The overall atmosphere is quite upbringing and friendly. The manager likes to make jokes and is very accommodating.Nearby activities: DishDash, Sunnyvale downtown(with Target, Starbucks, Whole Foods, Ulta and theaters), Great AmericaSafety: Feel pretty safe with a bunch of friendly staffs.

Terrible service. Booked this room for a concert and was told I owed a $100 deposit at check in and they wouldn't let me use the card I had paid online so I used a different card. And they charged me the deposit and said I would get it back right after check out i would have slept in my car for the night had i known that. It's been 3 days now i still haven't gotten it. I also realized 300 miles in on the way home I forgot my prescription glasses In the motel that I paid So I called and the lady I talked to said she would ask the housekeeper & call me back when they found them. I never got a call back so I called again and they said they would check and call me back. They called later that night & Said nobody found my glasses. I know I left them on the night stand. This place needs clearer communication.

Well,It's always a challenge making a decision based on these reviews. For me, there are a few guiding lights. One: Regardless of the number of stars, how old is the review? Two: If they're within 2 months, how many positives/negatives are consistent.Three: Are there responses from the business and/or business owner. Are they sincere? Concerned? Rude? Defensive? Etc.Given that, #3 is what steered me to this establishment, as just about every review regardless of stars has a well worded response from the owner. So how was your stay you ask? Well, I'll tell you;Everything was awesome! The staff I interacted with were great, friendly, and professional. The room? The bed (a King) was very comfortable with tons of pillows (6). In room thermostat, microwave, coffee maker, nice big TV, a desk, hair dryer, closet, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower, plenty of towels, housekeeping daily, and a few things I may be leaving out.The free hot breakfast? No, not a 3oz cup of coffee and a tennis ball sized muffin. It's a real hot breakfast with tons of options (cold options as well) in a big breakfast dining area. There is one thing not negative enough to reduce the star rating. I found the scent of the cleaning solution quite strong. In fact, it really made my first night a 2-star night. So, seeing how this would be a 2-night stay, I asked the front desk to ask housekeeping not to use in in my room, and they didn't, and all was well. Very well.I'm going back in 2 weeks for another 2 nights and will more than likely stick with this chain wherever I go.Compared to the, ummm, other "place" I stayed in this city 2 weeks ago which I won't name (see my only other motel review) a night and day difference for what amounted to a $40 dollar difference. Considering the massive difference between the two places, it felt (to me) like a $200 a night difference. One thing worth a mention. Parking in the front gets crowded late evening with 5 or 6 of the spaces closest to the front entrance being commercial work vehicles. Both nights after 11PM there were only 2 spaces open, both of them the furthest from the hotel entrance.I'm sure there must be more spaces but they weren't obvious. Still a 5 star review.

Solid hotel. The rooms seem clean and updated, toiletries provided, hot breakfast with THE waffles. Ample parking, each room has a v small balcony that overlooks the pool (we didn't use). Room was well stocked with microwave, fridge, keurig, cups. Very nice front desk staff.

The staff here are so nice. They helped with great restaurant recommendations too. The breakfast is the best I have had at any hotel in this price range. The orange juice was a close to fresh as you can get. The waffle maker made a perfect blueberry waffle. My husband tried out the pancake making machine. That was cool. The fancy latte is a nice addition. The scrambled eggs were the best instant egg I've had. The tater tots and the sausage were also very tasty.

Was a nice hotel to stay at for the night, couple things though. the room that we were in, the toilet was broken and kept running and we had to fix it a good 3-4 times so it to be able to flush. the breakfast in the morning was very good but one of the ladies who was working kept mean mugging us and making us uncomfortable and like we did something wrong and we tried to hurry up so she would stop watching us. the room itself was nice and bed was pretty comfortable.

Wanted to take the time to rate this motel because it absolutely exceeded my expectations. I needed a room to stay at for the TS concert that wasn't $1000/night (not even kidding) & this place came up. I really didn't care where we stayed bc it was only supposed to be for a few hours but when we walked into the room we were so surprised as to how clean & put together it was. The only problem we had was with the AC; had a hard time getting it to start. I'd definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Santa Clara for an event.

I was made to not feel comfortable from the check in process and maid service. Wronfully accused of stealing a tray and towel that wasnt in the room when i arrived. The maid manager C called me a liar when i requested a large towel to shower with and refused to be given one. They went in the room counting things instead of making me feel welcome as a gust. Treating me with a negative attitude my hole stay.. This was the worst experience after paying a large sum to stay the entire weekI highly discourage you from staying at this establishment.I feel i was also treated unfairly due to my racial makeup.

I have stayed at a handful of Comfort Inns around the bay area and this is my favorite one. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable (some of the older reviews say differently but I believe a renovation has taken place since then) The front desk employees are always pleasant and helpful. They are a little strict on policies which is understandable. They have a nice complementary breakfast and there are vending machines available. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is great. If you're super picky and uptight about hotels just spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. It's not a luxury hotel with lots to do. There's no huge lobby to hang out in or anything like that. It's an affordable, clean place to stay for a few days. Nothing more nothing less. There are some gas stations and some fast food places nearby however they aren't close enough to walk so keep that in mind if you're not traveling with your vehicle. They do have parties from time to time on the weekends and they can get loud and go on pretty late. Not really a big deal for me as I stay up late at night anyways. They don't give you any warnings that there will be an event and they take place in the lobby building which is very close to the rooms. The walls are thin so the party noise combined with the screaming kids running up and down the halls can definitely get hectic if you have to be up early the next day. But like i said it's not really an issue for me personally. I stay here whenever i come to the area and I will continue to stay here in the future

Very accommodating and rooms have easy access to vending and ice machines, also the rooms have both a fridge and a microwave for those who pack meals and refreshments.
