The rebuilt rear end for my 69 camaro was great however I was told I would be able to take home my original gear ring and pinion and they somehow “lost” them.

This is the type of place and people that are so hard to find. Our rear differential exploded 2 days before we were gonna go on a trip. I went to them in search of some Toyota ring gear bolts and a bearing swap they barely charged me anything for the labor and gave me the bolts for free. Will be going back for regear.

My 2500 Silverado Rear Differential housing had a large crack and water from the boat ramp damaged everything inside. Hooper found me a used housing and replaced all the bearings seals and replaced my 3.73 gears. I even paid extra to have them replace the rear hub wheel bearings and reseal the front differential. These guys are the best in California and stand behind their work, This is their specialty. They got me back on the road in just a couple days. That's pretty impressive for such a big job. Thank you Greatly appreciated.

I drove 45 minutes out of the way to come here, because they are worth it. I had options of going places a lot closer to me, but mechanics is not something you what to do. These guys are the Rear End specialist. I have been in the mechanics field all my life but I do not rebuild Rear End . You have to have a specialist for that ever since I was a little kid I would come here with mechanics I would work with, this is how long they have been around they have a stellar reputation. Honesty and quality is what you get when you come here. Thank you guys so much, see you soon

Although my issues were limited to the rear axles bearings, Anthony and his colleagues found place to arrange full repair up to my satisfaction. It was fast and with reasonable price. Highly recommend this business to address your trucks rear end issues.

These guys are legit. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They did two separate jobs on my Jeep and both times the work was top notch. The part that they worked on was left clean and looked new. They showed me the parts they replaced. The cost was very reasonable for the work they did. I highly recommend.

Brought my customer's axles out of a 64 Cadillac Deville to replace the bearings and they did an awesome job. Very reasonable pricing. Professional & Knowledgeable staff and great shop to work with. Highly recommended from another professional mechanic! I'll be bringing my own cars for work and recommend to other customers looking for rear-end rebuilds or replacement.

If I could give this place 10 starts, I will. This place is the best in any aspect you could think of.Anthony and Ryan are fantastic and gained my trust by their great diagnostics and understanding the problem, fixing it quickly, answering any question you may ask with explanatory answer and a smile (Without rushing you to stop asking questions), and of course their pricing is in the average range, so it doesn't hurt the pocket. They are professional, honest, friendly, priced well, and everything you need from a good shop.Well done!

I was changing out the rear axle to a 3.08 in our '84 Chevy El Camino and had calculated the axle ratio using the number stamped on the outside of the axle which was originally a 2.41 axle. I started the job and discovered that the previous owner had installed a 3.42 which uses a series 3 carrier. I couldn't use the Series 3 carrier for a 3.08 ring and pinion so after doing a quick Yelp search, I called Hoopers and they had a used Series 2 open carrier sitting on the shelf. An hour or so later I showed up with my Series 3 carrier and Anthony swapped the bearings over to the Series 2 and sold me a new pinion nut too. We chatted about how to set the pinion preload and Brian even gave me a booklet that explained the process step by step. Stepping into Hoopers is like going back in time to how auto parts suppliers used to be with knowledgeable, helpful staff who know their stuff. I miss shopping at places like this.

I took my 1969 Camaro to Hoopers after experiencing a rear end issue.Being that the car is 54 years old,I knew it was pretty serious. I spoke to Anthony explaining what the rear ended was doing. From our conversation he knew what the problems could be. I dropped it off Monday afternoon and it was ready to pickup Wednesday.Driving home and going thru the gears put a big smile on my face! Great team great service and one happy customer.Thank you Anthony and Ryan! Rick V
