There’s no public parking (university vehicles and permits only)! You drive into a dead end and nowhere to park to quickly dropsomething off. A couple of 20 min loading zone spots further away but they’re all occupied. Don’t come here if you come by car.

The previous review about the passport service is miss-leading. They DO allow passport service in the branch. We went to East Palo Alto office but was asked to return here today. It actually has less waiting time comparing with other usps office.

Just like most people here, I waited patiently for my appointment and learned that the camera was broken. They also said the passport person was sick and I was expected to wait 3 weeks due to that

They said they haven’t had internet for a week and can’t scan barcodes. Like what?

Said internet was out and could not charge credit card - cash only, after waiting in line for 30 minutes.

I got a P.O. Box to receive important documents and packages securely while I lived on campus. I am not exaggerating when I say that every single paycheck that was mailed to this office arrived several months late and torn open, if it arrived at all. Medication that I needed never arrived once in the 9 months I used this service, despite confirmation of delivery from my pharmacy. I am 100% sure that I used the correct address because I was able to successfully receive other, less important kinds of mail here.Even opening the PO Box was difficult. The customer rep insisted that I apply online because the form was "too difficult," so I did and when I came in with my completed application, appropriate IDs, and proof of payment, the same rep refused to give me the keys because I applied online and she "doesn't do the PO Boxes," only her supervisor did. When asked when the supervisor would be in, she told me she had no idea, that I would just have to show up and hope they were there.Because of this service, I was put in serious financial hardship awaiting paychecks and my health was put at risk due to the mysteriously missing medications that were both confirmed to arrive at the post office, but never made it to my PO Box . Truly awful.

They close before 5:00 pm. Maybe one hour early than that.

I want to give zero stars if I could. DO NOT use PO boxes in this office---I am not sure about other USPS offices, but please avoid at least this office if at all possible. They have kept my PO box CLOSED even though it should have been open (and I have been unaware of it at all). This made a very important mail be returned to its sender (without giving me any notice), and now I have to figure out how to get back the mail, which is very troublesome and should not happen at all in the first place.

If you schedule a passport appointment in this Stanford location they will redirect you to this location 2085 E Bayshore RdEast Palo Alto, CA 94303 because they don’t do passport/photo services which I didn’t know until I arrive here today on my appointment. I just show proof of my appointment at the other location.

This post office location did not have parking for customers. We came here today 7/17/23 for minor passports and got there for 20 minutes before the appointment and wasted 20 minutes looking for parking. Another worst thing and upset about this location is they never provided information that passport services are no longer available at this location and they want me to go to main post office 2085 E Bayshore Rd, East Palo Alto. 94303. 15 minutes away from this location. Never go back there again.

Do not depend on this location, for anything. Not for passports, stamps or even the customer service to help. They open late then hours posted at 9:30 instead of 9. Had an appointment for passport after an hour of wait and pleading with rep Caroline for some information or assistance. Was told the passport rep is at another location and will not be in to this location anytime today. And no empathy of the situation. Oh yeah,They ran out of stamps.

A lady at this office charged me over $500 mistakenly. Unbelievable. They gave me a check and asked me to get money at the bank. I cannot believe the quality of the service here. I only wanted to send an mail which costed $11. I can’t believe this.

Very unhelpful staff, zero empathy for our case when we couldn’t book an appointment in their faulty system. Highly unusual for this area.

Passport service woman demanded more/extra documents than required by the State Department, i.e., Birth Certificate and DL in addition to current valid US passport. Also, charges $2.00 for each page of copy of the extra/redundant documents. Free or paid public parking was impossible to be found nearby.
