I just called ask him how much they charged and installed tires. They cannot do basic math. They told me it was $10 a tire but then the total comes out to 80 so I said OK it’s $20 tire he said no it’s 10 but they can’t add.

Came here and paid for an alignment, for the other location was told it was a certain amount of money out the door for just the toe. I agreed , arrive for them to say that that cost wasn't for all four tires.. crazy. I paid the difference at the other location regardless though. I should've known immediately to just get a refund. They had to redo my alignment after the first one because upon leaving after the first one, discovered that it was still bad. Total time spent was almost 4 hours at the shop, waiting for to alignments. Avoid both of these places like the plague!!

I had been driving on a doughnut spare tire since March 10th. I've heard horror stories about using a doughnut spare, especially on either front wheel.Call me crazy, but I drove the recommended 50 MPH for a doughnut spare. I have to tell you, it was scary with all of these speeding idiots around me. I didn't know if I was going to get rear-ended, slammed into a wall or what.The only advantage of driving 50 MPH is that I got 28 MPG, vice my average 22 MPG.La Mesa Tire hooked me up! They didn't have any used tires for the size I needed, but they did have the exact same brand of new tires. They're used tires start at $45 They cut me a break with a brand new tire for $60 cash! This is a business that looks out for their customers, this is why they are so highly rated.But their ratings are slipping due to people who have YELP accounts, but don't take the time to write a short praise for the service they received.They're a five star in my book. I believe I found a new tire and automotive maintenance team, which is closer than any of the brand named tire and maintenance companies.

I purchased 4 used tires here in Nov 2021. I went to replace those tires today and the lugs nuts can not be removed. When I called La Mesa Tire Co in Spring Valley I was told that they do not use torque wrenches only air guns. Do not use this company they do not install tires properly. I thought I was saving myself, but now it is costing me more. If I could give them no stars I would.

I went to La Mesa Tire on 7/14/22 just to get a quote on four tires, the gentleman that greeted me name David was very personable found out what I needed and took me right away. After taking off my tires he found out that I needed my rotors resurfaced and he took me back there and showed me what need to be done. Every time he did anything to my vehicle he took me and showed me exactly what he was doing. I've been driving and getting tires for the past 40 years and no one has never been that personable and made me feel comfortable about taking care of my vehicle. He also did inspection of my vehicle to ensure was safe. Thank you David for your fantastic customer service and professionalism

Came in to change the tires on my truck, shop was empty. they start on one tire and another truck comes in to swap 4 tires as well that customer dropped off the truck. I'm waiting for my truck to be done and the second worker there that seamed to know what he was doing started on the second truck and left the other guy that didn't seem to know what he was doing working on my truck. I asked if the worker if he can help the other worker to knock out my truck first since I was waiting and the other customer had left not to mention that I was there first. The worker told me he was was in his way out and wanted to finish the second truck before he went home. Sure enough he did finish the second truck before mine. Long story short horrible customer service and the workers here are not too knowledgeable or experienced on changing tires. Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. These guys don't care for the customers. They need to have negative stars cause they would totally qualify for negative five stars
