This store is adorable! We got there to buy a souvenir for someone who really loves bears and had to take some time to choose because all the things there were cute and some were funny. The price is on the higher end but that is also because they are made out of wood and are very detailed.

The carvings are beautiful and ours has been carved and awaiting paint in the spring. We are excited to see the piece. The owner will reach out with any issues or concerns you may have and we appreciate that a lot! Thank you and can't wait to see the finish piece!!

We past this place a few times while visiting Tahoe, and on our way back out of town, we decided to check it out -- and we're glad we did!These sculptures are not only fun and beautiful, they're amazingly impressive! They're all done in-house, and they're all done with a chainsaw. Yes, you read that correctly; they're all chainsaw carvings!Be sure to pop inside the building as well for some of the smaller knick-knacks (some of which are hand-carved, and not done by saw . . .) The people who run the place are super friendly, and really helpful.Can't fit your new giant sculpture in the car/plane on the way home? Don't worry, they can ship it for you!

Wonderful store where one can indulge in collectibles for your home and garden. The crafter of these gems is very talented! Visit when you're in South Lake Tahoe, you won't regret it.

We were from Wisconsin and they shipped a moose for us (we flew) It is adorable! Also bought some frames and Christmas ornaments. Many things fo choose from. Cannot wait to go back!

If you like wood sculpture and if you like bear this is the place. Products are little bit pricey to buy without consideration but the quality is guaranteed. I bought a $95 for my home decoration and it was a right decision!

I doubt you'll find a better or bigger selection of wood carvings anywhere in the world. This place is incredible. The carvers work really hard on their craft.There's a huge selection of all sizes. They're for sale year round, with the greatest numbers in the Summer months and also many for sale in the Winter at the ski rental shop.

I was looking all over for a wooden welcome sign bear and these ones are bar far the best I could find. I live across the country from thier store and they were kind enough to listen to my wants and sent me pictures via text message of bears that I could pick from. They packed and shipped the bear the next day too. All around a wonderful experience with some friendly people and the cherry on top was the quality and workmanship of these wooden bears (they have all kinds of different animals). Pricing was great too. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and if people ask me where I got my bear, I'll point them in the direction of The Bear's Den.

Lots of bears! Also some moose, owls, etc. Wish I had a picture of my wife’s face when we pulled in. Matt was working on some little bears when we pulled up. It was fun watching him work. Bought one for my daughter’s new home. I enjoy seeing it when ever we enter.
