He gave me many options and provided an assortment of prices. During the process the Bronco needed additional modifications to fit the wheels I chose. “Carlos and his team at this Discount Tire are unbelievably professional and courteous. I called up about a rental car with a screw that punctured my tire and caused a flat. Carlos told me to bring it in and he and his crew would fix it for free. They refused to accept payment and not only re-mounted the repaired tire back on the vehicle, but also put away the spare to factory specs. Hard to believe service like this still exists. Thank you! “Today, I took my 1930 Model A Roadster—far from stock with all the modifications—need some help.
Lately, it’s been jumping all over the road. I ended up meeting Anthony (aka Tony) at Evans Tire in Encinitas. He took a good look, walked around the car a few times, and said, “It’s not in the books, but I think I can figure it out.”

“I had a slow leak in one of my tires. The tires are still have good thread and I was hopeful that it could be repaired. I went to Discount Tire in Mira Mesa and was expecting to get a sales pitch on why I needed to replace all my tires. My service representative was Mark and he quickly evaluated the issue and said he could get me in and out in 45 minutes! Not only did the fix the problem, they did it for free! “I decided to try a different Firestone than the one I’d been using for the past couple of years. I relocated to San Marcos so decided to give this shop a chance to impress me.From the moment I walked through the door and was greeted to the time I left, I felt like a made a new couple of friends. Manny is the manager and let me tell you, this guy knows what customer service is all about! He made sure that my wait was minimal and the work I came in for was done as well as he would have done it himself.I overheard Manny talking to his mechanics about a certain car in their shop. It was in bad shape and instead of putting several Band-Aids on a dying car, he said it was best to inform the customer that it’d be in his best interest to trade it in and buy another car. He could have taken the client’s money as the car died a slow death, but Manny did the clean conscience thing. He did the right thing and proved to be an honest mechanic and shop owner. That tells you everything you need to know about him.I will definitely return to this shop for my lifetime alignment and the $9.99 safety check of vehicle is a deal you can’t beat.
