I had my overnight sleep study in the Tarzana facility last night. At every step, from the referral by Kaiser, to the appointment, and finally the study itself, Sunset Sleep Labs has been exceptional. I am an RN and can, at times, be a bit hard on care providers knowing the “best” way healthcare should be approached. Sunset Sleep hit the mark, and to quote the metaphor, “knocked it out of the park.” As a clinician, when it comes to my own care, I hear all too often, “You’re a nurse, you already know this, so we’ll move on.” Not so with this provider. Dan, the Sleep Technologist, let me “be a patient” and ask the questions and address my concerns in a calm, reassuring, empathetic, and professional manner. I couldn’t be happier with the process, and though, yes, I do have Sleep Apnea that needs to be treated, this important step was handled beautifully. Great job, Sunset Sleep Labs.

Have been waiting for months for an appointment. Communication and organization is horrible. If there are openings TEXT and EMAIL the dates. Was told they left me a voice message and the only one I ever got was for a same day cancellation. Very disappointed.

There was a ridiculous amount of misinformation provided by the staff at this facility for the past couple of months that did not jive with what the doctor or insurance company reported. The staff were pretty rude every time I called (frequently since November) to either to check on my referral, request information to provide to my doctor or insurance company or to schedule the study. I didn't end up scheduling with them as I had such a bad experience and they could not confirm whether or not they could ship the device to me in time before the insurance deductibles reset in 2024 even when I offered to pick up the device. It was also clear that they expected the monitor to not be accurate and to need to be replaced or re-run. If their equipment is so unreliable, why waste your time with them?I do have to give praise to Michelle for taking the time to look into the history and sort out what happened, but the rest of the staff were terribly rude and unsympathetic. Michelle gets the only star.

The worst! Unacceptable! My doctor ordered a sleep study in July and Sunset Sleep Labs did not send the testing device to me for several weeks. The test was performed the same day the device was received and immediately sent back. It is now September 21st and the results have not yet been received! Meanwhile, I am not sleeping well and am always tired. It should not take so long to get the test results and begin any necessary treatment. I feel that my health is in jeopardy because of the long delay. Sunset Sleep Labs is extremely inefficient and unreliable! Would NOT recommend.

I showed up at the Simi Valley location 10 minutes early for my sleep study. I filled out a lot of paperwork then was given a bed. A guy with bad breath spent 10 minutes hooking up the electrodes to my body. I almost gagged his breath was that bad. I'm all hooked up and ready for sleep and he gives me 10 more minutes of paperwork to fill out. They finally let me sleep at 11pm. I wake up to use the bathroom at 3am. I have to buzz them, get disconnected and walk a long way through the building carrying wires to a bathroon. When I get back to my bed the A/C turns on and off for the next two hours and is loud. I can hear them talking in the next room the whole time. Light shines through the door and the noises made no sleep possible. When I buzz them again to ask them to stop talking in the next room at 5am they tell me, "oh, you're done. you can go now" I slept less than 3 hours there. This place is totally disorganized and unprofessional. I had this study done 30 years ago and it was easy, organized. quiet and professional. This place is the opposite. Find another sleep lab for your own health and well being.

This place is so unorganized. Sent in a referral several weeks ago and followed up several times. Each time I called they tell me they have to verify insurance and it takes time. So I call again and this time they tell me they haven't done anything because they need the referral (that was emailed to them) and now they need the drs note. Maybe reach out and let us know? Now we get the notes and it's going to be 7-10 days for insurance referral. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Not sure why they are a recommended place to go for sleep studies.

Called and was told I need to speak to Lisette to make an appointment. Have called several times and can never get a hold of her or receive a call back. Well today while I was at work I finally get a missed call and voicemail from her stating "this is the final message" This is the ONLY time I've heard from her ever. How can the first time reaching out to me also be the final? Very unprofessional.

My husband tried to get sleep study onsite but was told they only send out their monitors to our home due to covid. We decided to try it. My husband was diagnosed with sleep apnea over a decade ago but he stopped treatment. I've heard his snore and choke in his sleep so we just needed confirmation and a sleep apnea machine. We were told he did not have sleep apnea and charged over $400. Once I checked my insurance claim, it stated we were only supposed to pay $100. I called them asking regarding this and if we could redo the study. They said they would give us a call back. We instantly were refunded the remaining amount and only charged $100 but yet no answer on redoing the study onsite.Don't trust this company. How can they charge you more than what your insurance says you should be charged? and now I got to find another reliable place that's able to diagnose my husband correctly.

Sunset Sleep labs was incredibly professional and is staffed with terrific people who are just as kind as they are experienced and wise. They could not have made my experience more easy and I really felt comfortable in their hands.

The representative was very knowable and did an excellent job of explaining what the sleep study was for and how it was going to be performed. He went above and beyond helping me understand what sleep apnea was and how it effects the person. They did an excellent job.....

Phenomenal care and careful explanation every step of the way helped my mother-in-law immensely. Being a caregiver for someone who is both elderly and anxious can be challenging. Sunset Sleep Labs made it much easier - especially our technician Missy who was really phenomenal and kind.

Recently completed the test with the take home two nights study. The machine/reader was not comfortable at all. I returned it in a timely matter and I was informed it was defective. I was told the machine had no data present from the two nights and they wanted me to redo it. I explained I will not repeat it due to the bad experience with it. You would think they would test the equipment prior to sending it out.

The facility was clean and safe. The technician was very helpful, patient, and respectful. I recommend this place for your sleep study without any doubt.
