My son started at 2 years old and he LOVES it. The teachers and all the staff are so gentle, fun, and overall incredible teachers. The daily activities are so fun and educational. My son is almost 4, going into a new class there and we can't wait. He asks to go to school on the weekends he loves his teachers and friends so much. It's great having a school where I can send my son and have complete peace of mind. Also to mention, the parents here are also incredible! The fundraising events are absolutely stellar and fun for both the parents and kids while raising money for the school. Can't beat this community! So grateful for SOPNS!

WE LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! It's honestly the best preschool in Sherman Oaks. Amazing staff, super friendly kids and families, small classrooms, great community, and all at an insanely reasonable cost. We waited a year to get our first daughter in and it was so worth it! There are slots open now because of TK opening up in the public school system, so if you have kids 2+ years, call SOPNS and ask for Miss Jennifer, the director!

We absolutely love "Sherman Oaks Presbyterian Nursery School" what all of us parents call "SOPNS" for short! We had our son here first and now have our daughter in the amazing Hummingbird class, which starts at 2 yrs. I can not say enough great things about this school and have kept my daughter here even though we have recently moved a little further away. We know she is loved by her amazing teachers "Miss Barbara" & "Miss Gilda" as well as the entire staff here! The place is clean, wonderfully up-kept, and they have a beautiful shaded outdoor play area the kids adore. Most days I have a hard time at pickup because they truly "don't want to go home yet". They have a hot lunch program, which is super convenient and healthy! I really can go on and on! This is such a special school and would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, "Christ-centered," wonderful place to send their children.

When we moved to Sherman Oaks a year ago from the westside, we were searching for a preschool for our daughter. We toured several in the area and chose Sherman Oaks Presbyterian Nursery School. So happy we did. The program is amazing and the teachers are great. They have a wonderful curriculum that keeps the kids engaged and fun events planned often. Our daughter is moving on to Kindergarten and we plan to bring our younger daughter to this preschool when she is of age. Highly recommend!

We found this daycare at the very end of our research and I couldn't ask for a better place. The teachers are outstanding, the facilities are up to standard, clean and offers so much fun to the kids. They are always finding ways to make the program and the areas better. My son just loved to come here every day! ( thanks to Miss Teresa and Sam)

So grateful we choose this school for our 3 year old. I highly recommend! The teachers and facility are great and they do so much for our kids, but the best experience so far has been how much my son loves going to school every day.

We are so happy with our decision to send our daughter to SOPNS last year. I remember when we went to tour this school, I already knew our daughter would love it. She didn't want to leave after the tour, she cried at the parking lot. They have a beautiful playground with a huge beautiful tree, that gives lots of shades and cool breeze, the kids were happy playing and Olivia immediately blended in. We have so much to be thankful for with SOPNS, they have a great program, they always come up with lots fun things to incorporate in the learning process. Our daughter learned to ride a bike and scooter there(something we've been teaching her for 2 yrs!), she made friends, and she was on potty training when she started, which we also have been doing for quiet sometime - but the school helped her get fully potty trained in just few weeks. She has grown so much and have LEARNED so much, it's amazing how her teachers have impacted her in such a positive way. We are so happy that we are sending her back for another year before she goes to Kindergarten. Special thanks to teachers Ms. Teresa, Ms. Samantha and Ms. Blanca for being patient, and nurturing and for all the fun things you do with the kids. We are forever thankful! SOPNS have the best pre-K teachers!

Best preschool ever!!! They are so nurturing and loving. Every member of their team knows and cares for every child, whether that child is in their grade or not!!! Every single parent of their students always raves about the program. I have yet to hear one negative thing about this school and it's members. Thank you SO MUCH to sopns for being a light in my child's life!!

Ok moms, This was the best place for my baby!!!!!! I can't have enough words to explain how much I love miss Jennifer, miss Sabrina, miss Melanie and miss barbara! We came here for around 2 years and a half. Nothing bad to say. Just gratitude.They helped us a lot! The helped my little one with her English, (she spoke only Spanish) and they take care of the kids as their own. This place is just amazing! He just moved to another city :( I'm gonna miss her friends, parents, activities and teachers! Hope we can see them in the future!

I am a mama of 5 and have experienced several preschools through the years. The love, sense of family, warmth, true compassion and overwhelming commitment to the kids is like non other at Sherman Oaks Presbyterian Nursery School. They truly care so much about the kids and the families. This school is a gem and has been so wonderful for my children... they look forward to school everyday and love it there so much. The director and all the teachers go above and beyond everyday to make things special. Holidays are magical and their graduation was so thoughtful and wonderful for the kids. Especially this year with covid, we are so grateful for this nurturing, loving, welcoming and all around amazing school that has allowed our kids to grow and socialize and thrive. SOPNS has been there for it's families during the toughest times and continues to be so accommodating and wonderful. I honestly can't say enough good things and am just so grateful to have found such a wonderful school.
