I wound give them a zero if I could. I had my 2013 Subaru posted on Craigslist I Asheville NC. I got a text from Felipe Jaiman wanted to buy my car. We agreed on a price and he was going to send a certified check. When I got the check Universal Auto return address was on the priority envelope but the business name on the check was from a company in NY and the bank name was in PA. When I massaged Felipe about this he said don't worry banks can be any where and the other company was just a mailing address. so no problem. just cash the check. I called the bank but they would not give me any information. I called the company and they did not have anything to do with Universal Auto and said this has happen before. They asked for a copy of the check and I sent it to them. I messaged Felipe and told him want I found out and that I would be filing a scam report with the Attorney General office in California against them. I did not hear back from Felipe. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM COMPANY.

NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM ! they sold me a vehicle that never worked and put me in debt $10,000 for a vehicle they sold me that never was working properly from the beginning I’m without a car and still having to pay for the one they sold me. someone needs to shut this place down !!!!

These people sold me car leaking gas engine light on didn't want to fix or anything I couldn't keep it due to safety hazard now I owe 14000 to bank there robbers don't ever buy car there people please

I would actually give a no star due to the rude elderly salesman, very disrespectful. It was a disappointing experience. Had the down-payment in hand been approved and then when we went to go look over the vehicle the salesman got upset because we had more questions didn't even get to take the test drive nothing he snatched some paperwork out of our hands and said see ya. More words were said but not able to say on here. Very upset ? Very Disappointing!!

My little brother just bought his first car here and it just past a month and the car is having problems. I came here to see the reviews & it looks like he's not the first one I'm looking at his options rightnow to see how we can file a complaint with the state get his money back & considering getting a lawyer advice before time goes by.

Don't even try stepping in their so called dealership
All their cars are jacked up. Bought the car and had issues with ac and other problems. It got "fixed" 2 weeks after we bought the car and here we are with the same issues again. It hasn't even been a year yet! If this was so called fixed then why are we having the same dam issue months later! It sounds like these were only a quick fix so they can shush the customer knowing they messed up having a messed up car to begin with and now the customer is stuck with these same issues!!! The sales person even said in the beginning they ended up making no money because they had messed up buying a tore up car. And now to find out he doesn't even work there anymore

NEVER PURCHASE CAR FROM HERE ! I don’t ever leave reviews but I was a first time buyer and they sold me a car with problems after problems when I tried calling them to let them know that these problems were in the car before I even purchased it they said my warranty was up so they weren’t gonna help me but the mechanics said the sensors were just reset and not fixed they knew what they were doing and let me buy a BAD CAR !

This place is horrible I've heard a lot of bad things about their cars that they sell, but I went to check it out anyways they don't even wanna sell a car. I asked to take a car for a test drive and they didn't even wanna do that, these guys need scar sales person that wants to make money not just sit in the air condition office. Lazy no idea what they are doing there, I suggest not going there to buy a car

Bought a used Toyota camry through universal auto and couldn't be more content with the service. Fast and friendly and no issues with the vehicle. Would recommend to anyone buying a used vehicle
