They are STAR Certified. I needed a smog for an overdue registration ASAP. I called a couple places and either they didn't answer or their equipment for my vehicle year was down :( These guys answered their phone right away, gave me the price for my vehicle and when I asked the best time to come so I didn't have to wait, they said, "Well, just come right now!" I arrived, they directed me to pull around to the other side and told me it'd be about 15 minutes and I could wait in their office. Everything about the experience was cordial and professional and I felt at ease, which says a lot because I'm usually pretty nervous when it comes to any work that needs to be done automotive-wise. It did take the stated 15 minutes and they provided me a copy of my passing certificate in case I had any issues at the DMV. $1 fee if you want to pay with card, which they are upfront about. Super happy I chose to come here.

Worst place to get your car fixed. Charged me for a 2 minute consultation. Go to American depot right in front of them instead! Poor service.

If I could give zero stars, I would brought three vehicles here one of the vehicles persisted and did not even fix the issue when I brought my next vehicle there the over, charged me for my repair on my second vehicle and then on my third vehicle The guy was very rude when I came and gave me a 10% off a future smog

5 STAR!!! Thank you Sam and Kevin! We moved from Santa Clara County several months ago. We have a big family with multiple cars and was searching for a reliable and trustworthy smog station/repair shop where we can bring our cars for all future smog or repair needs. Brought my mom's car last month and Kevin made a positive experience for us. So we've decided last week to bring 2 more cars that are due for smog and 1 that needed some repair. Sam was the one who took care of us. Sam and his team were very professional and kept us updated with everything the cars needed. Charged us fairly and even honored the yelp discount. I can't say enough about these guys. We were really impressed. Again, thank you Central Valley Smog. We'll definitely be back for all our future smogs and repair.

The only reason my family’s cars keep going back to this location is because of mechanic Carlos..I tell him what I need and it gets done fast. I got there for a nail in my tire and it got done in less than 15 minutes on a weekend. Price was reasonable!

Small place, but the guys are super nice. They were open on Sunday and got me in within 10 minutes. Smog took about 10 minutes- they were super fast. Will definitely be using them for smogs from now on.
