Quest is a great store! We visit Sausalito a few times per year and always make a point to shop there. it is so important to support SMALL businesses who managed to stay open during the pandemic. The owner has always been respectful, kind and very helpful. We have been shopping there for over 8 years without one incident. I highly recommend visiting Quest!!!

What a wild reaction out of the owner. If you really enjoy being harassed and pushed out of way for trying on too many things in the store, this is the place for you! I took a picture of something that I liked since I wanted to figure out if they might have other options I could order there while I'm in town all month. The owner pushed my hands away when I tried on another item and asked if I wanted to take another picture. After confronting him for touching me, I left and came back 5 minutes later to figure out the name of the shop and he tried to take a photo of me. No big deal if I'm not allowed back, but seems like he forgot he's on a tourist strip and people browse. On reading other reviews I'm not wondering if my partner being mixed race had already put him in a bad temper. Seems like he's beyond grumpy and you're probably better off spending elsewhere.

The man running the shop grabbed my partners arm when trying on an item and asked him if he wanted to "take a picture". He also told him he doesn't want people browsing around. we walked back to the outside of the store to grab the name and the man came out of the store trying to take a picture of us. Very unprofessional and is driving away customers with his behavior

How terrible it is to see so many negative reviews. I was very happy with the clothing I purchased, and the owner helped me find a perfect fit.

I had a great experience buying a shirt. The owner was very helpful and even mailed me one of the shirts i wanted which i received in two days. The owner was funny amd made this experience great. I will be doing more business with him. His shirts are very similar to the Robert Grahm shirts I wear.

My story: I got a very nice coat from here for Christmas. Receipt said purchased November 11th or so, but they miscommunicated that it was a gift for me (left in my mother in law's condo), and I had to pick it up. By then it was February, and I had biz travel so I couldn't get there to nearly the end of March. I walked in with the well kept jacket that was too small for me (long in the arms and torso). This kindly gent didn't hesitate to take the jacket back, find me the right size (even though a different style, the same brand... and I liked the new jacket and especially the cut far better), and help me exchange it quickly. There was a slight upcharge on the jacket that didn't make sense vs what I saw on the tags, but I'd rather get the best fitting jacket I've ever had and be on my way that start to haggle. I was in and out in a few minutes, and now I've got one of the most elegant articles of clothing I've ever owned. It's spendy, but he's helpful and I appreciated his accepting of taking a jacket back that had been out of his store for 4+ months.

I’ve shopped at this small boutique store for approximately 20 years. Both the quality of merchandise and service have been excellent. Highly recommended.

My husband and I love this shop! We live locally and have shopped here numerous times. The owner has always been helpful, considerate and knowledgeable about his inventory. He makes great suggestions and we appreciate his high quality clothing at affordable prices. Hooshang has owned the store for over 20 years and his consideration for the community and his customers always comes through.

Owner of Quest store will get belligerent by f-bombing you if you don't hang the clothes you try on. He is a very pushy salesman!

I will not support a racist store owner and this guy definitely is. I hope that no one of colors buys anything from this racist piece of trash and I know will see its way to cause this racist to shut this store d own.

Cheap smelly clothing sold to customers at a ridiculous price! Stay away if possible. They fail to keep up with the trends. Unless you’re 75 years old looking to look even older avoids this place.

I have not had any experiences at the store and I never will. I would never patronize a store that discriminates against people of color. The man Who was on duty Sunday the 24th, who would not allow a black family to try on his merchandise should be fired immediately. I hope this information goes viral and something good happens from this unfortunate incident.

It sucks u have to give a star to make a comment...this business deserves to be shut down or burned down. And his business license should be revoked. No room for racism or classism in this world!

The owner Hooshang Seda is Persian Jew who should know what being persecuted is like yet he still choose to discriminate a family and refused to let them purchase items at his store. Californians I urge you to not support racist bigoted evil people who own this company. California is place of diversity, love and acceptance for all !
