Hmjust had our first visit with Dr. Carpio and it was great. Our cat was not happy at all and he and his assistant did everything to help get her exam done. They were so nice and explained everything well.

Absolutely great vet (Dr. Carpio).Yet minus 1 star for some mediocre vet technician for she could have been more polite and professional over the phone (such as going over bills with client).Overall a friendly, good clinic.

The vet was dismissive and did not educate, but laughed instead. That’s after he told me that my dog has breast cancer, just by looking at her.

Saratoga veterinary hospital staff are always kind, welcoming and accommodating. On top of that they do not overcharge like some vets do. Saratoga vet will be our go to vet for years to come.

Everyone was very nice here. My cat doesn’t do well at all with strangers. The staff and doctor were so good with her. She cooperated perfectly for them because they put her at ease.

Friendly and personable staff with transparent price estimates every step of the way. Clean and well equipped facilities and the main doctor was very patient, well informed and detailed. Really happy to have found this vet!

[Ongoing issue for over a year now!]I have been deeply frustrated by the unresponsiveness and lack of accountability exhibited by the team at Saratoga Vet Hospital, particularly Dr. Bajwa. My beloved pet's well-being was compromised due to their negligent actions. Without conducting any tests, Dr. Bajwa wrongly diagnosed my pet, creating a false record of a pre-existing condition. As a result, my insurance company denied all claims, leaving me to bear the financial burden alone.Despite my repeated efforts to reach out for assistance, both to Saratoga Vet Hospital and Calaveras Pet Hospital, Dr. Bajwa and the entire team have shown a complete unwillingness to rectify the situation or provide any form of corrective action. This level of disregard for their patients and their owners is simply unacceptable.I implore anyone considering the services of Saratoga Vet Hospital to think twice before entrusting their beloved pets to such a careless and unresponsive establishment. The well-being and trust of our furry companions should never be compromised for the sake of convenience or incompetence.

A wonderful local vet. The staff is very professional and all pet records are online which makes it soooo much easier when you have to prove rabies or other vaccines.

The place is always clean, everyone is professional, helpful, friendly, patient. Last October, my 12 years old dog had some bumps removed successfully. This May, my other 13.5 years old dog had seizures, doctor also found inner ear infection during examination. I had a great experience with the visits.

So far my only contact has been a single phone call to Saratoga Vet Clinic. It was a great experience. All my questions were answered politely & with confidence I believe by Jennifer (not 100%, I sometimes forget names). I was able to obtain a new patient/welcome to the practice appt. within 2 weeks (could have been earlier but I was unavailable).I’m switching from another practice with less than stellar service so I was so happy to be “heard” when I spoke about my pups health condition. I am looking forward to more quality service for many years to come since she is only 2y/o.

Doctor Carpio is quite knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft (better than many other vets I’ve been to) and most of the staff are very kind but one was rude at the front desk and the doctor does have a very strong ego. Tendency to find reasons (and subtly push) to charge as much as possible for different procedures and tests so you have to decide for yourself what to do and not to do (which you have every right to do) but I’ve seen that at most vets. I wish it wasn’t the attitude but I understand that they do have to survive, pay their staff and be profitable.

Saratoga Vet Hospital took my daughter's cat in for an emergency appointment even the cat had never been seen there. Unfortunately. the kitty passed away on the way to the hospital. The Doctor and the staffs were very nice and compassion. They helped us planning the final step for the kitty. We really appreciate for all the help.

The one star is for the communication! These guys need to get there xxx together.1) I got a call from them for asking permission to extract teeth for someone else’s baby by mistake. If you don’t know already, the doctors have very little time to take the decision to extract the tooth or not and calling the right owner is the only way to beat the timing constraint.2) I let the above incident slide and decided to trust these guys with getting a vaccination certificate for my international travel ( Health Certificate). I had sent an email with all the mandatory contents to them. In spite of that, they not only missed one extremely important detail in the certificate but also sent me by naming the file with someone else’s baby. WHAT THE XXXX?3) I had some emergency situation for my certificate and I was begging to get the certificate fixed. But apparently they thought it was not a life or death situation and its okay to reschedule your flight and disturb all your plans and as such denied to help. Basically they decide for you if your situation is an emergency situation or not. You have no way to ask for help.4) I left a note at the front desk and also spoke to two of the staff for talking to the manager about all this but I never got a call from Anna, the manager. I knew they wont call me by the look on their faces when I told them I want to chat to the manager. There expressions were like- we get a lot of such angry patients , WHATEVER!!!Long story short if you are someone who prefers relationship management and clear and consistent communication, please run away before you step into Saratoga Veterinary hospital.
