Great teachers but very bad customer service

No reminder about upcoming billing, no receipt given. Asked for a refund and was told there was a no-refund policy. I pressed the issue, as I thought I had cancelled through Apple. Eventually was offered to just pay one month instead of a year, then was told the billing department wouldn't approve the deal. Offered a 50% off year deal again; why would I want to pay for a service I don't use and why would I trust the billing department to follow through with this offer? When I asked to speak to billing, I was routed to a google form that just asked for my email and when I last used the app. I enjoyed the content on this platform for years but frankly it is a shit business run by assholes. I've tried reaching out on Instagram and even emailed their public relations office since I have had literally no other recourse. Oh you want to get ahold of someone by phone? Good luck. The phone number listed here goes nowhere. PS I have been using this platform off and on since at least 2013. Nice way to treat a customer, right? Namaste my ass.

Buyer beware. Read the reviews on the Better Business Bureau website and here on Yelp. I cancelled during the free trial in 2020 and they have been billing me, fraudently, ever since! I have never logged into this app. Just a really slimy company. Namaste, right?

This place is a SCAM!! They rope you in with a free 1-week membership, don't give you any details about that membership, and then they will charge you almost $300 for some annual membership if you don't cancel on time within the HOUR. No reminder emails. No communications. The app and videos are mediocre at best. Your better off watching youtube videos for free or actually investing in a studio that offers quality classes. STAY AWAY FROM GLO

They have roll over policy - and second you end account they end all classes you already paid for for the year. Making you end subscription in THEIR time! Not cool. Will not use again

I was charged twice monthly for 8 months. Glo refused to give me a refund. Very bad customer service and very bad experience. I would never get a membership here.

Although the classes on the website are good, I was charged TWICE every month for 2 years. I tried to resolve this over email communications and phone, and they kept avoiding me, or giving me the run around. I must have spent about 12 hours trying to resolve my concerns. Unfortunately, there is ZERO customer service support and terrible service, outsourced overseas so connecting in time zones make it nearly impossible. They might stand for something like Yoga and Heath, but in fact, the business aspect is inconsiderate, uncaring, and exploitative considering the high attrition rate of people like me who become exhausted trying to advocate for a fair business exchange. The appearance of wellness without the full integration of ethical commitment is just a hollow, and it’s sad to see a yoga company so desperate to make a buck that they’d not respond to a customer of 12 years. That’s a long commitment to them be ripped off without ANY COMMUNICATION.

All of the comments about poor customer service are accurate. I've emailed and left a voice message and there's no response. It's been 2 weeks. I asked for a refund since I don't use the app and no response. Only sign up for this app if you are ok with no customer support.

This app basically saved my life. During the pandemic I was going through such a difficult time and a friend told me to download it as it helped her as well. I could not have been more pleased with the results. The customer service was on point as well. Whenever I had issues (no matter how small they were) they were always more than willing to help. As I read over these reviews on here I was sorry to see people that said such falsities regarding this company. It was clear to see they were having a bad day and unfortunately were unable to truly enjoy this application for what it was meant for. I want to thank the entire company for their support through the pandemic and whoever reads this, please take the steps to download and let it enhance your life in ways you did not know were possible.

Terrible customer service. They don't allow you to cancel via the app. It just says to renew. If you don't want to renew, TOO BAD, you're renewing. If you want a refund for the service you didn't use, TOO BAD, you're paying. I would never use this company again, even if they had a good app experience. The app experience is not great either. It's impossible to find a class you want without scrolling for 20 minutes.

I cancelled my account a couple of days into the subscription and then they still charged me. This seems to be scam, not happy at all.

This posting is about their business practices which I think really reflects on this company. On their website, they offer a 15 day free trial. They do not explain at all that after 15 days they will charge your account for month after month until it is cancelled. However, if you want to know how it works, you will need to click on their disclosure page and scroll many pages til you find it embeded in legal speak about 2/3s the way through the lengthy document. They also do not notify you that your trial period is over or send you any receipt after each payment. They also refuse to give any refunds even if the service was not used at all. In my case, my wife signed up for the trial. Since I pay the credit cards, she did not know they were charging us monthly. I discovered today that they had charged us for 5 months including one charge from just 6 days ago. They said they would cancel the account but that they do not issue refunds ever. I ask what kind of ethics is this, especially for a yoga business? I believe that they make a lot of money with this policy by hiding how they operate. Other businesses like Sirius Radio send out a bill every month before they bill and let you know when a subscription is about to expire. But not this company. Fortunately my credit card company immediately reversed all the charges. It made me wonder if this company is known for this, as they did not even contact the company before issuing the credits to my account. I can't speak for their yoga, but my wife, who teaches yoga was not impressed. She chose to go online with local teachers and support a local economy and people she knew and 'teaching she really valued and appreciated.
