I've gone here for nearly 20 years. In all that time, I'd say 99% of everything that's gone in has come back just fine. Over the years I have given TJ Cleaners some pricey and more delicate items with mixed results. My coda with TJ Cleaners is only the durable stuff (regular pants, shirts, sweaters, etc). Anything that needs any type of custom care doesn't come here. The one item they totally ruined, I was reimbursed for by their dry cleaner after a ton of follow-up on my part. It's a decent place for everyday clothes, and the alterations are solid and cost-effective. Anything fancy needs to go to a fancy-clothes dry cleaner where they really do understand fabrics and how to carefully clean them. TJ Cleaners seems to send all the work elsewhere, and it seems like it all gets done in a dry cleaning/laundry factory which is a-ok for the everyday stuff, but not the good stuff needing more expert and specialized treatment.

Gave this place a chance. Messed up my jacket :( it is discolored completely. Used to be brown and is now grey. I'm really sad and disappointed. I will not return. Do not bring leather here.

The tailor Armando has great attention to detail. I've had him do several projects for me that others had refused. His alterations are flawless. My brother trusts T J's ONLY with his casual, as well as business attire. And...he is picky as hell!! Would you believe they even dry cleaned a stuffed TEDDY BEAR for me? A family heirloom that is treasured but was neglected. The bear looks brand new! A great neighborhood vibe. A small business worth supporting! They are reasonably priced.

They do a great job on dry cleaning, laundry, alterations. Albert is a creative and knowledgeable tailor. He has altered clothes for all my family members and some drapes for us too.

I brought my favorite dress to be dry cleaned and they destroyed it. The front of the dress was lined with feathers and I specifically asked for them to be careful. If it couldn't be done that's fine I would just take it elsewhere. They said they could do it. I picked up my dress and upon looking at it all the feathers are missing and it smells awful. Those feathers were fully on there when I brought it in. The photos are what it looked like when I bought it and what they look like now. So sad and so disappointed

Horrible service. I brought my clothes in to get cleaned. It came back with an old clothes smell. They denied that it was them that made the clothes smell which I know in fact they did 1. Because they didn't smell like that when I brought them in 2. They smelled old like they were shoved somewhere for weeks/years and I wear these shirts and jackets often. I requested them to reclean it which they did. And still the smell was still apparent. I had to pay otherwise they wouldn't give me my clothes. So I immediately took it somewhere else. Guess what? No more smell! I called numerous times they are now refusing to answer my calls or call me back. I left 3 voicemails KINDLY requesting them to refund me for the bad service and I told them I will show proof that I had to take it elsewhere to have them remove whatever smell/residue they left on my clothes. They refuse to call me back or refund me. Please don't waste your time and money here.

Quick and easy! They're in the heart of Santa Monica and within walking distance from the main streets. You can easily find parking in their lot or around the corner near the residential areas. Appreciate their services and rapid dry cleaning turn around.
