This is the place to go for your irreplaceable and highest quality pieces. I brought two pieces that had been damaged by other dry cleaners, and Rene French made them good as new. The prices reflect the expert level of work, and if you’re not given an estimate, ask! Note also, cash or check only. I will definitely be back!!

If I could rate zero, I would. Ask for just 1 dress shirt to be dry cleaned for the next day ( it was an emergency) and asked me $50! I bought a new one…Service: Laundry wash & fold

Dropped in to see how much it would cost to have a shirt pressed. The older Korean man sized me up and said "very expensive, we only do high quality" and I was dismissed. As a fellow Korean I was shocked, but then I saw how nice he was to the white women before and after me. So sad, he could have had a loyal customer...

This business is a prime example of why one should be able to give zero, or negative, stars. I may have been able to get over the $75 per blazer "hand cleaning and pressing" cost if they didn't ruin my blazers while doing it. Rene French Cleaners buisness practices could allow them to change their name to "The Emperors New Clothes Cleaners" because they sell negligent services and act like it is fit for a king. They will assure you that they have been in business for a very long time but I am now experienced to know that that is just part of their "pitch". I wish they wouldn't be allowed to continue getting away with it and scratch my head as to how they have for as long. Ruining clothes at a premium cost isn't magic. Now that you know, if you go, you're that emperor. (you have now been informed).

The best cleaners in town. Have been going for 20 years. Run by a caring and skilled family. They are expensive and worth it. If you have a regular dry clean shirt take it anywhere. If you have a special piece of clothing that needs real quality care take it here.

Read all the reviews and realize the people are not understanding this place and have egos to match. Rene French Laundry is not a normal dry cleaner and admittedly does look like a low end dry cleaner by superficial outer appearances. But I know they are careful about new customers because they have these experiences where people bring in $50 shirts and don’t expect it to cost $20 to clean or bring in $500 suits and don’t expect it to be $100 for cleaning. Prices vary based on work quality. Economics 101. I can’t afford Rene French Laundry regularly but every once in a while I will buy a high end used item off of eBay and have them so my initial dry cleaning. They do a great job and gives me confidence that I take something someone else wore and make me comfortable wearing it, even if it costs me higher than normal dry cleaning. So this place deserves 5 stars and the folks rating it badly just don’t understand.

I have been going here for almost 30 years. They are not your average cleaners. If you just have clothes that you need dry cleaned and are not that particular - go anywhere. But if you have certain things you cherish, it is the only place on the west coast to go. I have not been there recently as it a bit of a trip for me, but I WILL be back soon. I travel 30 miles to bring my cleaning to them and I probably pass 100 dry cleaners on the way, but I am a woman with a mission!

The same wash and dry cleaning method/process at your location and other high cleaners pricing applies to both cotton and linen. (suede and leather are the exception) There isn't any other cleaner who charges differently dry cleaning prices cotton vs. linen other than Rene's. $15 is considered pricey by most (not me) but never try to convince me or anyone else there is a difference with linen. That just an insult to our intelligence.

Wonderful service! Very quick turn around. My husband needed a shirt pressed for a big meeting the next day and they were able to get it done in an hour or so. Incredibly convenient for my schedule! Great pricing compared to others I called, too, who couldn’t get it done until 5, if that.
