“I tried Row House the first time with my friend this week. It has been such a fun experience! My friend calls it a clubbing atmosphere with row machines ?. The work out is great. The instructors are awesome! They really take the time to help you figure out what to do, they keep you on beat, and are super encouraging and fun.Nate has the best floor/strength work! I like how he isolates one area for a period of time rather than rush to the next movement.”

“Great instructors and workout. Serious full-body workout with tons of encouragement and positivity, but without the shame or pressure you sometimes feel at other group fitness places. Upbeat atmosphere and good equipment/space.”

“I love this studio! The instructors here are really grounded and...great yoga teachers all around. Also I love that we can join online or in the studio. I've tried a few online yoga classes but none of them had the feel of a truly centering experience while expanding and stretching the body through the asanas. They all felt more like gym class. Not really what I wanted. But with Yogazan, whether it's been online or in person, it feels like a coming together of my full being--mind body and soul. Every time I go through class, I feel like I'm bringing myself into full alignment as I breath and push through my own physical limits.”

“My new fave workout spot!❤️‍? I’ve tried many interval classes throughout westside and this studio is consistently amazing? (which is obviously bc it’s Aussie-owned ??) ..Every single trainer I’ve encountered has been incredible!! They truly exude fun-loving positive energy & passion, in addition to being SO personable as well as encouraging during the workout! (esp when they remember your name and shout it out throughout to praise us - it really is motivating!) ..Also, kudos to the excellent playlists, particularly all the 2000s throwbacks! (did I mention they support animal charities!???)”

“I've been a member of this and predecessor gyms since 2006. At any fitness level, you are going to be happy here. Honestly, you just need to show up with a great attitude, and you will meet people and have fun ... and, hey, along the way, your fitness will improve significantly. I can't recommend it enough ...”

“I've been lifting with Jen and Rudy once a week for the last three months and I've never felt better. My swimming has improved, my hiking and stamina has improved. They're really know what they're doing - best weight training I've ever had!!”

“I found this on Yelp and had to go to the area, so I thought I'd give the place a try. The staff were so embracing and informative of all the elements of the class. I took Piper's class, which was great. She was so observant and conscientious of everyone's ability. The time goes so quickly. I look forward to going again soon!”

“I've been working with Aaron for multiple months now and he's completely unleveled not only my body but my mind with his vestibular exercises and more. His workouts are mind blowing. Like a physical therapist meets trainer meets emdr practitioner. Check him out!”

“My first time ever trying this kind of class. The instructor, Jesse was terrific. It was challenging and he was encouraging and supportive throughout. I learned and got a great workout.”

“Great workout, clean studio, friendly staff. I pretty much come here for Journey (instructor) and Journey alone, she is hilarious, motivating, adjusts my form as needed and makes the class fly by. Highly recommend taking her class!!”

“After trying out a few classes with ClassPass, I joined CAMP LA last month -- and I love it! It's probably the friendliest gym I've ever been a part of. The staff is super friendly -- everyone says hi and knows you by name. The members are also very friendly. Probably had more positive interactions here in a week than I do elsewhere in a year. They have 4 different styles of classes: HIIT weightlifting ("Stations"), treadmill circuit training, yoga, and pilates/sculpt. I've tried them all, and they're all excellent. The instructors are unusually good at what they do. I don't think I've had my form corrected more anywhere else -- exactly what I needed. So basically, whatever kind of exercise class you want, they've got it. I've been around the block, and this is the best studio-style gym I've ever been to. They just get so many things right. I'm hoping that one of the things they do right is to read their online reviews. So, dear CAMP Counselors, here are some ideas for making something great even better:* Noise levels: On my Apple Watch, every class I take registers noise levels of 85-95dB+. Even yoga! These are rock-concert level volumes that cause permanent damage to the ears of your patrons (the "Circuit" classes sometimes hit 100dB). If your goal is to keep our bodies healthy, then you should include our ears, too. Also, I can barely hear the instructors' voice above the din of the music. The music is perfectly audible at a far more sustainable 70-75dB. A good guideline: if your patrons need to wear earplugs, the music is way too loud.* Water fountains: Are the fountains in the Stations room merely decorative? Or are they meant to dispense water to thirsty athletes? Because they haven't worked for the two months I've been coming. I'm guessing this is a 1-hr plumbing job. May want to get rid of the infrared sensors, btw -- they add complexity without improving anything.* Hooks in the bathrooms/showers: would be nice to have more hooks to put our clothes on so we don't have to drop our clothes on the floor. The Stations bathrooms have zero hooks inside; the showers on the sculpt/Circuit side each have just one. Hooks costs pennies and can be installed in minutes, and make a huge difference in the customer experience.Once again, CAMP does so many things right that in the grand scheme, these are relatively minor gripes. Hope y'all can find your way to take some classes there because they're some of the best LA has to offer. And in a city of 10,000 gyms, that's saying a lot.”

“Working with Jason and his trainers has been the single best thing I have done for myself in the past 5 years. Not only have I lost 20 pounds, but I can now walk into any gym and (1) feel comfortable moving through my workout, even when crowded and (2) I know multiple sets of exercises I can do for each muscle group. This was not just an 8-week workout/ diet program - it was a lifestyle learning experience that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It is also a blast! I HIGHLY recommend Jason and his team to anyone who is looking to become savvy in the gym, just needs to get back on the horse, or someone who is looking to revamp their workout routines. This is a tailored, personalized approach that delivers results, no matter your level, period! Can't say enough. Thank you Jason!”

“I came to Drive Cardio expecting an ordinary workout. From the Groupon and Yelp reviews I figured this place was over-hyped and too good to be true....OH BOY was I wrong!Drive has easily become one of my favorite workout destinations. The location is amazing, literally a walk from the beach off PCH. My drive to and from is always a pleasure, so relaxing and tranquil. Parking is a breeze. They have a lot with ample of space and there's even metered parking on the street that rarely gets packed.Every single workout is different. I've gone over 10 times and can honestly say I've never experience redundancy and they always provide a challenging but rewarding class. I've been to 4 different instructors (Damien, Bonnie, Thierno, and Simon) all amazing but they all have different teaching styles. They all have high energy and make each workout challenging but fun.The classes are unlike any other I've attended. They are both intimate yet engaging. You may start off with a treadmill warm up and move to core or strength training. Each class differs in routine so you are never bored. After a week I could really tell my stamina increased from the treadmill alone. And of course each and every class I sweated my balls off but loved the feeling of accomplishment after. The staff here is great and it's a small gym so it's easy to feel right at home here. There's really nothing I would change about this place. If you are looking for the intimate setting similar to a personal trainer I would say come here. You really do get that individualized training in a group setting because they keep the class size pretty small. But it is pricey. It's certain worth the price if you can afford it, but if you have to to live off of Top Ramen and sale a kidney to pay for it then you might want to get the 20 class pack Groupon.Free lockers are a plus and they also offer face towels to wipe off all those calories you are sure to burn.I absolutely adore this place!”

“So this place is awesome. Red Bull has definitely invested in Santa Monica. This office campus is amazing with its own theatre and a huge open working space (about the size of a warehouse). Perks are obviously free Red Bull and we all know it gives you wings. Went to a tech panel here and it was great. Highly recommend, if you get a chance, visit this place. Great job Red Bull.”

“I can appreciate that at each session, they have two trainers there to support and guide you. Often, you see those fitness classes with 20 people with only one coach. Especially when working with weights, you must use the correct form, and it helps when someone is there and can support you with 1:1 attention. They run a week-of-class promotion for $25, so I purchased it on their website. I dropped in a few times and had a good workout; however, this isn't something I've never seen before. You rotate between stations and perform a different movement at each station. There are TV screens that demonstrate the exercises. There is music, and you feel motivated and supported, but it is too dull for me. The trainers are great and professional, but I enjoy Barry's Bootcamp better. It is a great gym option for people at all levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. The place is clean and well-maintained, with a shower, cubbies, a free parking lot in the back of the building, and some street-metered parking.”

“5 stars for Manny!!! Manny the front desk attendant has been our no 1 dude since he started. Not only has he provided service over and beyond the call of duty, but he's been friendly and warm with every conversation we've had. He helped me retrieve a lost airpod, helped me secure my membership, and has been an overall great and pleasant presence for this gym. In addition to Manny simply being the best, the gym itself is great. I've been here as a guest many times, and have finally committed to a membership. it's clean, it's fun without being obnoxious, and it's got all the equipment i need and then some. overall, a great experience, and a great workout. Thanks Iron!!”

“In lieu of continuously, letting out or buying new clothes I was forcefully. instructed by my spouse to join a gym offering personal training. This was in 2008 and it changed my life. In addition to the obvious, dropping the weight and feeling better thanks to Tom Williams, the facility and atmosphere created a welcome environment making you want to return again and again. Moving to Orange County ended my tenure at Burn but an LA based assignment has me back for a month or two. Especially nice to share with my daughter who felt the same.”

“Over the 15 years I've lived in L.A., I've joined several gyms, but Trifit stands out as the best by a wide margin. It's spacious and equipped with every type of workout gear you could imagine. The gym is owner-operated, ensuring everything is maintained to the highest standards. Among its facilities are an indoor pool with three swim classes each week, and a variety of other classes including yoga, HIIT, and TRX. The staff, including Dakotah who gave me a tour before I signed up, are always friendly and eager to help. Trifit is open seven days a week, offering extensive operating hours to fit any schedule. What impressed me was their community engagement; they organize Open Water Swims during the spring and summer. I've never seen a gym offer something like this. It's a testament to their commitment to not just fitness, but also community building and outdoor activities.”

“Great environment. Different type gym in that all located closely together, but not bunched together, for quick access. The gym includes outdoor spinning classes with a wonderful trainer and cool music. Highly recommended the gym. It's also clean, management and ALL staff are with it!”

“Great equipment, friendly staff, great equipment. My only gripe is that this location doesn’t have a pool. Other than that, I love the set up, the classes and the atmosphere. P.S. The lockers are sparkling clean!”
