Person in the front was very nice, person in the back was not. Didn't say hello and asked for our ID's and didn't offer any help, ignored us and scoffed when I asked how to use one of the items, and then was very welcoming to another couple who walked in. I believe it was because me and my partner are two trans masculine people and the other couple was a cis straight couple. Just beware if you are queer and come to this store, the employees may or may not help you based on your appearance.

We visited this store on July 15, 2023. Our first time visiting a shop of this nature and what an experience it was. The Salesgirl was fantastic and so helpful at explaining the array of "toys" and other items available. She was very straightforward and comfortable explaining the products and what they were used for. She was very knowledgeable, professional and made the experience interesting and fun. I didn't even know how to hold some of the items we were looking at, much less what they were meant for. Let's just say I was schooled on our visit. We ended up buying some intense warming gel and a candle made with an oil based wax that once melted is poured on the body. Oh my gosh! My husband and I never laughed so hard. Backing up a little, We were visiting Carmel for our 33rd wedding anniversary get-a-way (July 14- 17, 2023) and drove over to Santa Cruz to hang out for the day. We were walking around this cute little town and walked by this store while window shopping. Something in the window caught my eye so we went in. I can't remember what it was that made me stop, maybe a cute piece of lingerie- I don't recall but we went in thinking it was a little lingerie shop. We didn't realize that in the very back of the store was a sex toy shop. We we're definitely intrigued and thought "Oh well, we are here, let's just look around." After seeing all of the "toys" and mentally picturing us going through airport security with some of these crazy sex contraptions, we decided on the intense hoo-ha warming gel and a wonderfully scented candle made of essential oils that once melted is poured and rubbed on the body. The candle even had a cute little built-in spout for easy pouring. We get back to the resort, it is very late and we don't have freaking matches for the candle. (I recommend giving a little pack of matches with candle purchase) My husband finally scrounges around the hotel lobby for some matches and comes back an hour later. We light the candle and realize it's gonna take awhile for this candle to melt. So we prep. Start by having a gummy snack. Shower. change into silky outfits, eat a few more gummies (another purchase for our special anniversary weekend) and kill time by reading the many brochures collected from the day. I check the candle (still melting) so decide it's time to open the intense warming gel - there's a pamphlet involved. Had to Google "where's the vulva". because the intense warming gel (according to the pamphlet) is for the vulva and even though we are middle-aged adults, happily married for 33 years, neither one of us are cognitive enough in this moment to the precise location of the vulva or who has it. That lead us down a rabbit hole of sorts. Finally the gummies were in full swing, the room was spinning, we found the vulva, and alas! the candle was nice and melted... Now, I had envisioned from the moment that we bought the candle that it would be me pouring it on him, he thought the opposite so now argued about who gets to pour the candle on who. Since I'm apparently the one with the vulva, I decided it would be me who got to be the pourer. I tried to be sexy about it- all sultry like, slowly pouring the melted candle oil on his hairy chest. (The sales lady never said how much ) - so I poured it all on him. let me just say, it's hot apparently, and a little goes a LONG WAY. It was very oily at first and quite delicious feeling. The warmth of the oil mixed with the warmth of skin to skin contact was a really nice feeling. (Sorry to my daughter who follows me on Yelp) The lights were off so I couldn't see. After awhile my husband was getting agitated and not in a sexy way. I eventually turned on the lights and forming right in front of my eyes was Pegasus. The mythical greek statue. Terrible return and exchange policy. I was shopping for a gift and asked for help from the staff and they helped me pick out several items. I was fully transparent that I wasn’t sure if my friend would like the gifts and was never told my items were non refundable or exchangeable when I purchased $250 worth of items. I returned a day later to exchange a few things that my friend was uncomfortable with and was told that I couldn’t get a refund, exchange or store credit even on items that were fully sealed, unopened and completely boxed. My items were literally still in the original gift wrapping they did. I’ve shopped here for years and been a very loyal local customer and it’s really disappointing that the return/exchange policy is unreasonable. I could understand if I purchased items that could be hazardous or unsanitary to return, but fully boxed and sealed items should be excluded from this policy OR you should be a business with integrity and actually tell your customers that items are final sale upon check out. Don’t shop here. You’re better off buying online or shopping somewhere that cares about more than your money. Don’t waste your time.

Super disappointing. I've spent well over $1000 a year at this store for the past couple of years and recently tried to exchange an outfit that was BOXED, SEALED and only purchased the day before. The products were literally still in the original packaging THEY wrapped it in and I was told I couldn't exchange or get store credit. The return policy in this store is a complete scam. You should clearly tell guests upon check out that all items are final sale. I will definitely not be shopping here again. Terrible customer service and you're better buying online or from somewhere that actually cares about more than your money.

Great selection of bras in hard-to-find sizes! They are known for their lingerie and toys, but their bra selection and the range of sizes offered is SO GOOD. I came here looking for a present and left with 2 bras for myself! And I was introduced to 3 new brands that carry my bra size! Super win!

Came here with a friend because she was embarrassed to go alone. She didn't know what to get for her friend so she asked the staff and they gladly helped us. The place is pretty funny and the viewing experience of the stuff was hilarious as I have never seen or even shopped for things like this before. Overall, great experience! (Finishing this draft that I started in 2017, I don't know how it is now but this pertains to the time I went back then)

This shop has it all. The staff is so wonderful, accommodating, informed, and have you in mind as you shop. The selection is so diverse, they include goodies for dudes, gals, and nonbinary or gender nonconforming pals and a wide arrange of sizes. They don't have like every item in every size but most items there have a really good range. Their prices are barely higher than the stereotypical store like Spencer's or etc, but it's not by much and they have way better quality of items. All the things I've purchased from them over the last many years are still going strong and I keep coming back. Love them

I can't believe I've never left a review for this place! Santa Cruz is my hometown and this has always been my favorite place to go. I always have to make a trip here every time I come back. They always have new, fun outfits I love. Their inventory is always changing and they do really fun seasonal displays. Their stuff can run a bit pricy but they have some great sales and do sell good quality stuff. Their staff is also amazing. They're always so kind and knowledgeable; I've learned so many things just coming here over the years. (Also they feel like a great LGBTQ+ friendly space which I love).

Literally had $400 worth of sex toys ready to purchase. None of their credit card terminals worked. The staff were extremely apologetic, saying that they complain to owners all the time that the system sucks - we tried half a dozen times. It BTW, wasn't "declined" - it just wouldn't process. This is rinky-dink stuff in 2021. The guy selling gourds at the farmers market takes credit cards with a dongle on his phone. Do better. Can't recommend going back as we spent quite a bit of time picking things out only to be unable to check out... that's so bad.

Totally disappointing and cheap. Mostly plastic made in China stuff. The 2 college students working here were pretty clueless and unhelpful when I was asking about specific items. The seemed completely uninterested in my business. I wouldn't waste your time or money here.

Was in town for a bit and decided to treat myself to some fun stuff! The young person in the "fun" section was super nice and helpful. I felt super comfortable about asking questions and they were super helpful. The person who rang me up also was helpful and nice. I didn't feel judged at all! Would definitely recommend you coming here!

Okkkkkkk so I came in Tuesday evening and had the best experience . I got an amazing vibrator and was treated like gold, the person who rang us up was so amazing and sweet didn't catch her name but she made our nite.
