Wonderful, kind, friendly, positive, welcome, professional team. Amazing Mr. Mike is very understanding and supportive. My daughter loves the classes and all teachers because they help kids to build strength and confidence.I would recommend this school to everyone. ?

I signed up my 12 year old daughter a month ago. She already has a manager so we came to SCSOPA to take acting classes to build her skills. We live out of state and the zoom classes are every day and super convenient with great teachers. Since signing up a month ago she has had two auditions. Both times we emailed the school and they set up a session with a coach to run the lines with her. Talk about service and going the extra mile!! Really feel like they are in our corner and are delivering to support her. She booked the first one and waiting on results of the second audition! Thank you SCSOPA!!

Living far away from SCSOPA is no issue due to the school's ingenuity, organization, and connections. Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts is a serious, professional school that maintains a familial atmosphere. Though they are very popular and busy, we are treated with top notch, individualized care. Most importantly, our kids have fun and want to keep coming back. With a variety of classes offered via Zoom and agents also over Zoom every Saturday, living 5 hours away in Monterey is no issue for our kids to learn and go for their dreams with SCSOPA. They also can't wait for our next trip down to the school, because they know that everyone there wants them to succeed. I can't say enough about how positive, knowledgeable, attentive, and helpful every staff member we have encountered there is. For example, immediately before interviewing with an agent, each of our kids had an individualized session with the managing director. They waltzed out of her office oozing confidence and beaming - ready. And Miriam is an absolute jewel who sees each student holistically. There is no place we would choose to trust our kids' performing arts development other than SCSOPA.

Hands down SCSOPA has my highest recommendation, my husband and I made the correct choice when we selected this school. From day one we were treated as family. The staff is amazing! Committed to great service! They go above and beyond every aspects. Wonderful and so sweet and always working hard for their students. We travel from Bakersfield 2 / 3 days per week . We love the staff and atmosphere of SCSOPA!

I have been attending the Santa Clarita School of Performing Arts for a few weeks now and I am thoroughly impress. I have had the opportunity of to take the runway class, voiceover class and comedy class and I've been enjoying every bit. Whether in person or through zoom, I have been able to hone in and immerse even more into my craft. Next week, I am start sitcom acting and can't wait. I also had the opportunity to perform in front of an agent and it was a amazing experience. The owner, who I am happy to call "Uncle Mike", has taken me under his wing and made me apart of his family. And his wife, Cindy welcomed and coach me through my monologue. I have never been so thrill about my acting journey then I am now. Mariam is so nice and has always been very helpful with leading me in the right direction. I absolutely recommend this school for any is trying to successfully enter get in the business. Also, I was able to get, in my opinion, the best headshots I have taken this far from Bobbi Tiso Photography whom which Mike referred me to. Thanks for everything Uncle Mike!!!

Our daughter has been attending Santa Clarita School of performing Arts for a little over a year. When she first started she was nervous and timid. As the months went on, we noticed her coming out of her shell, becoming more confident. She went from an introvert to a confident extrovert! After 6 months, she signed with an agent and has started getting auditions. With her growth through the classes offered here, it's only a matter of time before an audition sticks. We are so confident, we just signed her up for another year.

We enrolled our daughters to SCSOPA and it has been the best experience for both of them so far! They have agents come every Saturday and we got a call back for the first audition, and got an agent. Since then our daughters have booked roles in a movie as well as back to back auditions for national commercials and series. We've enrolled our girls just a few weeks ago and the results speak for themselves. The classes are awesome, the teachers are fantastic and we drive 45 minutes each way to get to their classes and it is worth every minute.

Fantastic experience! Mike and Miriam run an organized, fun school with experienced teachers. Agents come every Saturday for auditions...our daughter was signed within a few months. Highly recommended!

I can't speak for the classes for kids 8 and up so this is mainly a review for the little kids classes. I have a dramatic and high energy daughter, everyone who meets her tells me she needs to be in TV. So I thought, okay why not, let's do acting classes, could be fun! I chose this place because of its longevity in the community. I thought someplace that's been around for a while has got to be good. Maybe it was at some point? Not anymore. You get to try out ONE class before you have to make a HUGE monetary commitment, thousands of dollars, which is a SCAM. The trial class was great, exactly what I wanted, the kids were engaging with each other and the coach, hands on learning, playing games, finishing each other's make believe stories and working together to create a scene... then conveniently after the money was taken THE CLASS TOTALLY CHANGED!!! Now the kids had to shut up and sit still for a whole hour so they could have two opportunities to stand in front of the class and recite something they memorized at home. And if they rocked their chairs because they are bored, the lose chair privilege and sit on the floor. And that's it. If they are good they play one game at the end. MY KIDS BEGGED ME TO NEVER MAKE THEM GO BACK!!! For months I felt so badly making my kids go only because of the financial commitment we already made. Finally I caved and told them they don't have to do it anymore if they don't want to. They were so thrilled to not have to go. I'm out sooo much money! It's such a waste!! They used to do a fun runway show at Macy's for all the parents to watch their kids and cheer on other kids but they took most of those away. So for thousands of dollars you can twice a year have a fun event. They make it seem like the runway is high profile with a huge attendance but it's just for the parents and kids practice. There's no one scouting at the event and you don't get to keep the clothes after your kid models them. I was told this was supposed to be like a "family" but as soon as you hand over the money NO ONE CARES about you, no one cares if you show up or not, no one remembers your name. No one emails you reminding you of sign ups or schedules. They just want your money and a contract so they can be done with you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Imagine been in a school where you wanted your little one to learn and have fun , you pay but you need to guess or ask others parents for information or events because no one in here tells you anything or send you an email. This school is really a waste of money. I had the worst experience in here. The receptionist is very rude she always is with this angry face, everyone is scare to talk to her!!!!!
